what happens when you leave town without a starter Pokemon every Pokemon game has someone like this um um um if you go outside and into the grass while Pokemon will jump out it's dangerous if you don't have your own Pokemon these people I'm sure they're nice and they mean well but they stop you from exploring the world without any Pokemon but what if you didn't want to be a trainer you just want to go for a walk and see what's out there well today we're gonna use some cheats to walk right past them and explore the world of Pokemon without having any of our own so let's start things off with the classic games pokémon red and blue normally you can't leave town without Professor Oak talking to you but I'm using a little walk through walls cheats so I should be able to leave Pallet Town without running into Professor Oak wait a second is he stopping me from walking through the fence wait did he just walk through my house you need your own Pokemon for protection I don't know dude I'm in the middle of a fence right now where are you going Professor Oak where what's what what is going what what is this alright that's not working that's not working we need to try again what are you doing Professor Oak where are you going alright so let's try that again apparently if we try going out this way even if we don't go the normal way professor Oak will still get us in the fence so let's go south because I know there's grass right down here so what happens when we don't have a starter Pokemon in red and blue all right we're encountering something what are we going to send out in this battle there's a while Rattata and whoa whoa look at that HP and we set that something that's burned oh my god what is this do we have any moves can we attack up I think I just broke the game I think it just crashed all right that was weird I want to try that again let's get into another wild encounter over here alright this time it's a Pidgey and level 21 with the crazy HP so we know if I try to attack it it's going to crash the game let's see what if I go to the Pokemon menu choose a Pokemon there's nothing there very weird how about items I don't really have any items so I can't do anything I guess I could just run away yes I could run away all right or maybe I can't maybe the game will also crash that way too how about trainer battles let's try that outs the SI cleanses my body and my soul all right so we still can get into trainer battles and we're fighting against a swimmer while those generation 1 swimmers rights look really weird alright swimmers sending out a Sidra and the music got really quiet whoa Oh what happened to the music this is really creepy this is creeping me out a lot all right uh I'm afraid of doing fight because I feel like the game's gonna crash yeah Pokemon the menu here is still the same I guess we'll just try out fights I hope it doesn't crash fight oh whoa we have an attack all right Oh what what what's what's y99 what are these things over here y99 q9 tow alright let's try that attack or not alright I tried oh wait wait nope enemy use TM trainer alright we're getting somewhere is frozen solid look how much damage I did and I burned it that's a pretty good move enemy use TM trainer it looks like cedras sprite gets sent to the bottom of the screen to hurt by the burn is that it okay oh oh that thing is a lot of health that thing really is a lot of health all right it's going down slowly but surely I'm not sure if we're winning or losing right now I really can't tell oh it's healing back up it's healing back up it's going down slowly oh there we go we're in the top health bar now oh no it's healing back up alright now looks like whoa that went down fast that went down really fast but that a fuel itself backed up again so I don't know I am so confused are we gonna knock this thing out or is it just gonna live forever there it goes it's it tainted maybe yeah right we beat it yeah enemy TM fainted we gained the boosted 6320 70 XP and we grew to level 18 yeah that's what I'm talking about we gained another boost of exp how many Pokemon do I apparently have as far as I knew I had zero thats 3 pokemon getting exp level 100 it's something else true to level 7 d and now swimmer is about to use a Sidra will read change Pokemon yes I don't have any other Pokemon to change to so we'll just not do that alright let's try doing a move again I want to go for the type cool trainer move alright seaters using leer it's apparently faster than me now and my Pokemon ignored orders and we also got hurt by our burn okay that didn't do too much it only did three out of 99205 I don't know I think I just chose a move enemy TM trainer alright we're going back to this something up frozen solid I think we're gonna knock this thing out I don't know it's getting hurt by its burn now and uh we're going through this again alright so we beat three cedras and the game keeps telling me that they're sending out more and more cedras so I'm assuming this battle is never going to end and we can't run away from the battle so I'm assuming we're just stuck here forever and finally the last thing I want to test is healing your Pokemon I wonder how Nurse Joy reacts to me not having anything we heal your Pokemon back to perfect health shall we feel your Pokemon yes alright Oh Bob does that say Bob down there oh whoa whoa oh wait what she actually healed my Pokemon thank you your Pokemon are fighting fit we hope to see you again oh oh no never mind it crashes I thought the game was gonna go back to normal but that's it all right I think we broke pokemon red and blue now let's change up the pace a little bit and try out Pokemon X one of the newer Pokemon games all right we're here in the world of Pokemon X&Y and look at my beautiful little Pikachu Nintendo 3ds of my hand to the Wii U on the floor rest in peace it was a fun console but let's go downstairs and say hi to our mom and get out of here now I'm gonna show you a few cool things here so normally in Pokemon X&Y you can't leave your house without changing out of your pajamas by using a few cheats so we can just walk through the walls walk right round mom and bye bye we're out of the house still wearing our pajamas still carrying around the 3ds super funny and the best thing is your friends here they don't say anything to you unless you actually change out of your clothes so I could basically just walk right past these guys with no problem and do all weird stuff and everything so anyway let's go to route 2 I think route 2 is the first route in Pokemon X&Y that actually has grass my friends are trying to get me to go over there they're really trying to get me over there apparently but we're just going to skip that too and keep on going and there we go route 2 still in our pajamas so now let's run to a Pokemon and see what happens when you run into Pokemon in X&Y when you don't have any of your own if we could even encounter something oh yes okay we can all right what is it gonna be what's gonna happen and a Pidgey kind of just like in pokemon red and blue whoa wait wait what so look at the green Bulbasaur but wait what whoops a lot of stuff just happened there we need to talk about this so it looks like if you don't have a Pokemon the game kind of rushes you through that battle really quickly so I didn't have enough time to actually talk about things in depth so let's go ahead and take a look at that again the first thing that caught my eyes it looks like the developers did not make any battle models for your pajamas since you're not supposed to leave the house in your pajamas if you wear your pajamas out and actually get into a battle it just turns you into a floating head very very weird but I think the most interesting thing in that bad is sending out that level 999 glitchy bulbasaur as we all know the level cap is level 100 so sending out something in level 999 that's pretty crazy it's also apparently a mega evolution and its name is in Japanese now I can't read Japanese but I used a translating app on my phone to read what the Japanese said and apparently that name translates to Pikachu and when I looked up Pikachu's Japanese name and compared it to this it looks like it matches up so I'm not sure why it's saying that shiny bulbous or glitchy mess is a Pikachu but apparently that's like a glitchy mega Pikachu alright so let's see what happens when we try getting into a trainer battle now when two trainers eyes meet a pokemon battle must begin hopefully we don't automatically lose I feel like that's gonna happen because I know in the newer games they don't really let you play around these glitches as much like they do in the originals and there I am again the floating head sending out my glitchy thing I guess I'll just call this glitch achoo that looks like a really powerful Pokemon but no we can't use it oh that's so annoying level 999 I'm sure that can wipe out the Zigzagoon with no problem but we're just too strong for it and we just instantly lose the battle and once again let's see what happens when we try to heal up without having any Pokemon hello and welcome to the Pokemon Center would you like to rest your Pokemon sure Nurse Joy don't freak out on me like they did in red and blue please uh okay well that was actually very simple it actually worked ooh what if I go into the PC what's that gonna look like with no Pokemon I didn't think about that until I just saw that now box one there's absolutely nothing in here nothing I could do no Pokemon nothing that is so creepy well it looks like if you leave town without a starter Pokemon and X&Y the games don't freak out on you as much as they did in red and blue which makes sense because x and y are newer games but still level 999 glitch achoo that's pretty weird now that was only two generations generation one and generation six that means there are a lot more games that we can test
