What happened with Poshmark? | Why I won't sell/buy on Poshmark ever again.

hey guys welcome back to my channel um so recently I've been doing some shopping um although I said I'm not going to buy anything for rest of the year it's just that eBay has been doing great discounts on the luxury items and I think it's because we're getting ready for the holidays a lot of like pre-loved um items are coming up for sale so I found some great deals on both eBay and Poshmark and what I wanted to share with you today is um two separate bags that I bought from Poshmark and how they both turned out to be a disaster this is a little bit full of drama so I hope you guys find this interesting and entertaining and I'll just get right into it so the first bag I bought from Poshmark um was the St lauron medium Nikki bag um I feature this in my everyday tobler mom bag uh video If you haven't seen that one I'll link it up above and down below so you guys can watch it if you're interested um and I found a really good deal on this on Poshmark and it still had a tag on and the person said well I tried to use it um just didn't quite fit into my lifestyle and because I had still the tag on it looked like maybe it could be a tag from like Nordstrom or something like that um I put an offer sell accepted and it got shipped so I was waiting and waiting and it finally got to the Poshmark headquarters um what's good about Poshmark is that they authenticate anything over $500 and since I bought this bag for $ 1850 plus taxes it definitely meant that it was going to go to the Poshmark headquarters for authentication and it set at the Poshmark headquarters for about a week um I think I should have known at that point that this wasn't going to work out and about a week of me waiting um I got an email from Poshmark saying that they could not verify the authenticity of the bag so it got sent back to the seller so um it's either the seller lied or Poshmark just did not have have enough uh knowledge about how to authenticate the St lauron medium Nikki bag it's just that they couldn't verify the authenticity of the item so it just went back to the seller I have no idea what happened with that so first back purchase was complete failure on Poshmark and I was still hopeful that I'll be able to find a good deal on Poshmark and I did um I found the St lauron uh medium College bag and I thought this would be a good alternative to U Pima that I used to have um I want to give the college bag a try again found a really good deal on Poshmark um I think I bought it for 1,800 and it retails for 2650 the seller had said that it's in a like new condition and I was happy to purchase uh this bag for that price point given that it was going to be like new condition it then gets sent to Poshmark headquarters takes a few days they authenticate and then it passed through authentication which is always good news and then it gets sent to me um it got delivered to my house in the middle of the workday and I'm so excited to receive this bag in my uh in the mail and I just run out and get the package and I open it immediately and I'm so disappointed because seller had completely lied about the condition of the bag um I take it out of the packaging and I look first of all it's not even wrapped in a dust bag or anything it just came wrapped in like a tissue paper and I had asked a seller specifically hi is there anywhere on any of the corners of the bag I just want to be aware before you know I make a purchase and she said no it's in like new condition and upon inspecting the bag the bag had literally Corner wees on every corner possible it really made me pissed off and I immediately filed a claim with Poshmark and what pissed me off even more is that they tried to ask me if I'm still interested in keeping the order and take $100 in Poshmark credit like you should refund me the money and they give me the $100 credit on top of that for the hassle that I've had gone through so I immediately declin it um they issue the return uh label and say you have to ship it back within two days of this label being issued or else your return will be cancelled okay so it's already very threatening the way they have written this email and I'm already really annoyed because none of this is my fault so I packaged the item and ship it the next day and then I think I shipped it on Thursday or something like that and on Saturday or Sunday over the weekend you I need to remind you this is not even part of like the weekday or business day they said another email threatening me that I need to ship it within two days um or else my return is going to be canceled what happened was that I shipped my return the seller wasn't available to receive the package and it couldn't be delivered and now Poshmark is threatening that they're going to cancel my return and then funds are going to be released to a seller so at this point I am raising help on poshmark's uh Instagram account I am sending messages at after messages to Poshmark customer care center they don't have a phone number they don't have a chat functionality they really are crap at customer service um so after me making obvious iously upset comments on the Poshmark Instagram the customer support then responds at the end of the day so I had to sit on this threatening email for the whole day Monday and they finally resolved it after hours my time so I did get my refund immediately because they saw what had happened but I really don't appreciate poshmark's um attitude and what has happened because it's not my fault that seller decid to completely lie and they have reviewed this case also and I I am responsible somehow for the seller not being at home to receive the return mail so this has completely put me off of Poshmark I will not be buying anything luxury on Poshmark there are still some good deals but I'm just simply not going to buy anything off of there um I've had pretty good experience selling on Poshmark it's because I only sell authentic items and my buyers have been really great um this whole time but I won't be selling I won't be buying anything Poshmark so if you're shopping on there just be careful there are a lot of people who are out there to get you uh which I don't understand cuz it has to go through the authenticity program even if you say final sale you still have to take uh the return back if um you just completely lied about the condition of your items so I don't know what these people are thinking but Poshmark has been awful uh I have had better experience with eBay and I'll share that in a separate video after this one so anyway that's a bit of drama that I have gone through with Poshmark I'm extremely disappointed and put off by it because I have sold uh I think about 75 items on Poshmark and I've been selling on Poshmark for a really really long time several years and I won't be selling anything on Poshmark anymore just I'm completely done with it so hope you guys found this video at
