like she's gonna shoot somebody hey baby but I'm back and today from struggling we're gonna beat you out we're gonna be checking out these super cute little candy kids he's gonna put them down for a second because he got to hear my spiel a few weeks ago I did receive an email for these note that's a lie a few months ago I received an email for these candy kids asking if I want to check them out and I was really really happy about it because I actually saw them a while a while ago and I couldn't wait to get my hands on them so when they said hey do you want to see them I was like yes but then something got delayed and a month later they hadn't shown up so they resent it and then I was on vacation and then I went out and bought one myself and then I finally received theirs and they sent me the same one that I had bought so I actually went in a returned mine and bought a different one which brings us to today I now have two kindy kids that was a lot to say but I like you guys to know the honest truth and sometimes it's a bit of gobbly in Canada these costs $41 and change after-tax but in the state's they're about 24 97 or at least they are according to Amazon and I don't know what they cost after your tax basically if you think the price is right for you and you like them whoa don't drop it then go ahead and pick one up that is of course after you watch the video and decide if it's truly right for you each of these packages will contain one doll as well as two shopkins and are recommended for children over the age of three and not for children under three because they do contain small parts and as an added bonus we're gonna check out this candy fun shopping cart that they sent me which if you're in Canada can also be purchased at Toys R Us for around $25 pre-tax and in the states $15 pre whatever your taxes are and because these are all geared toward preschoolers it has the same age recommendation of over three and not under before I switch down to the table to open these for you guys I'm going to mention that there are four dolls that you can collect and obviously we only have two here today but I truly did want the other two especially since peppa-mint was one of them and her hair is beautiful but that's that story is for another day which will never happen because it really doesn't matter let's switch down to the table and open them up we're gonna start by opening dona tina before I do I'm just gonna acknowledge that this package is super cute it's teal it's got little star windows and once this video I'm gonna cut off the panels and find a use for it and now we open oh my dad rest in peace beauty getting her out of the package is a mission and it kind of ruins her hair and I'm gonna let you take a quick look at her so you can appreciate all that she has to offer and as you do that I'll give you a quick reminder that these kindy kids are brightly colored and a bit chunkier than your average doll because they are meant for preschoolers but if you're an adult collector like me and you just love dolls you just go right ahead and buy it if you want to because honestly these display beautifully and now it's time to get to the review but before we start I'm just gonna let you know that she can stand unassisted on her own because she does have some wide flat feet which is perfect because to be honest her head is really big and wobbly I wasn't sure if her legs would be able to support her but they fully do unless you do that look even there no Cameron as per my usual reviewing nature what no yes we'll begin with her makeup and move on to her hair and then continue down to the rest of her body she's got a light complexion large glittery brown eyes and big thick black mascara which is very typical of all shopkins products and if we were to move this big pink curl out of the way you'd see that she has bright pink eyebrows she has this cute little button nose some cute little teeth and a light pink smile and from the front they're sort of blocked by her ringlets but once he turned to the side you can see that she does in fact have ears moving on to her hair which is bright bright pink has pulled up into a ponytail slash bun which is off to the left side and in the front we've got curled bangs and ringlets on the sides and this area here is the only section with any product which is used to hold her curls in and it feels very gluey I'd be taking a brush to this but I doubt a preschooler is going to care moving on to the back you can see what I meant the hair is pulled up into a side pony up here which has a small little bun and hair hanging down this part here I'm not gonna lie got a little bit ruined as I was removing it from the box because it was wrapped through it so I'm definitely have to fix that part of my own but in order to do that we're going to need to remove her headband which is attached by elastic bands so pretty much recommended that you remove it anyway the band itself is white with little bumps underneath to help grip to the doll's head and the bow on top is all pink with blue sprinkles and a blue donut in the center with yellow frosting and a cute shopkins face now we are at the back again and I'm just gonna replace the button to make it look better I'm not gonna take out this elastic fan because I don't want to ruin this really nice pony tail and also there's really no purpose because if you look closely you can see the rooting already especially under these lights so there's one here here here here and possibly when they're giving us either four or five so if I move these out of the way you'd be able to see that she's quite bold in fact they've given her some extra holes that don't even have hair coming out so when we take this ponytail out it's actually going to be quite thin even if it looks really thick that is of course excluding the bangs and ringlets at the front which have their own rows of routing but regardless it'll look better once I fix it so I'm gonna do it anyway quite a bit is coming off but as I've mentioned in the past this is the first time we've used it so that's pretty normal okay guys guess what you get a bonus craft because while I could easily twist the doll's hair back into a makeshift bun I've decided I'm gonna make donut inna her own little donut for her hair basically all you gotta do is get yourself a piece of paper towel if it's one of the big squares cut it in half because you don't need quite as much and if it's the Selecta size then you're good to go all you have to do is continuously roll or fold it into a long shape and then fold it once in half and tape the end closed or if you're super fancy you can bust out the sewing machine and do it that way but since I'm making this up as I go I kind of want to see if my super cheap method works out once you feel like your paper towel tube is nicely secured you can just leave it as is and skip to the velcro or you can decorate it for when you're not using it and it's sitting on the shelf and you decided you need it to look beautiful I've decided I'm gonna use some shiny tape that I have because it looks really pretty but you could just as easily use fabric or felts or whatever other people use and just secure it with glue or stitching it now you should have something that looks like this but in whatever decoration or not decoration you've chosen to use and all you're gonna do is add some velcro to the ends stick it to one side roll the rest of your donut around on itself remove the sticky back from the second side and attach and now you should have something like this except looking like whatever it was that you created so if you've never used a donut before basically you take a ponytail that you've already made and fix the ends through your donut they actually make and sell these in real stores but because I didn't want to ruin her hair I added the velcro so that we could actually just wrap it around the base genius I know first of all that just already looks cool this would be a great tip to add to Halloween costumes I just decided but we're here for the button so I'm just gonna go ahead and continue do this now gems giving hair advice now we're gonna separate some of her hair flip it over and wrap it around to cover the donut then we're going to find one she came with and wrap it around our little book once your bun is in just take a thick section of hair like I did here and wrap it around to hide the base and either secure it with a clear elastic or a bobby pin and you're good to go now y'all do is put her headband back on and she looks good as new but slightly better the only thing I will mention is once you take the elastic band off the headband it does tip and fall but I mean it's a safety hazard so if you're giving it to a preschooler you kind of have to if you're buying it for yourself to display go ahead and keep it on well the power to you now that we're doing with her face and hair we'll quickly address her bobble head it bubbles if you hold her body you could turn it left and right but it just finds its way back to the center she can't tip backwards or forwards just kind of what you'd expect from a bobble head like she's always saying no wait a minute did I miss something here she's got a little donut light reflections in her eyes how did I miss that that's pretty cute oh by the way her eyes are plastic so they look 3d okay okay moving on and now we'll move on to her lower body so she's got two arms and they rotate only at the shoulder going up and down and back and if your head wasn't so big and in the way we could probably do a full 360 grow fit is pretty cute it's a dress that looks like there's an apron on it so there's white pink light pink yellow blue pink more pink and some brown it's kind of hard to describe so imagine something cute with all those colors it reminds me of something the kids would wear in sugar rush from wreck-it Ralph it undoes at the back with Velcro and it's pretty easy to take off and I'm happy to report that it's all put together quite nicely lift that up and check out her legs they do completely rotate at the hip we can also see she's wearing some molded plastic pink underwear with polka dots and a little bow and now her shoes we've got some white high-top sneakers with faux laces a little blue faux zipper and then along the bottom we have two different shades of pink and it looks like dripping frosting with sprinkles at the back it looks like we could take them off so let's give that a shot and see if she has any socks and no she doesn't but she does have really cute little toes with toenails I'm gonna take off the other one just to see if she can stand upright without the shoes hmm nope she can't so we'll give her her shoes back so she stops falling on her face and now we'll move on to the two accessories she comes with which is a cereal bowl and a spoon and the only reason I didn't fill me opening it is because I take my time to open them delicately because I plan on keeping this as well as the box to make a doll room you just got to carefully take this part off as well and now back to these we've got ourselves a blue shopkins bowl with yellow scalloped edge and pink cereal inside and a matching blue spoon with a cute little winking shopkin face and in the top corner there's two little pink rings of cereal although one looks like it's got icing on it so it could very well be a doughnut and similar to a Baby Alive we're just gonna push our spoon into the bowl and we'll magically have some food excellent and now we can feed our kindy kids so once this touches her mouth it'll just pop back in oh I fed her chin hold on get some more round - yum yum yum delicioso now obviously you guys are smart enough to know this but basically when the food pushes against her mouth it pops the little tab down which sends the cereal back up inside the spoon is actually really cute I remember thinking things like these were so magical when I was a kid this and those milk and juice bottles that you would flip upside down and the milk would disappear I was like what that's amazing so I know that preschoolers would love this and I'm gonna do one more time because according to the package she will be able to hold this in her hand ah you put it on her thumb that's not weird it's like she's gonna shoot somebody not strange at all although if you turn it like a normal person it does look like she's holding it so that's cool there you have it folks that was Dona Tina and now she needs a friend next up is Marsha Mello and I'm not really gonna look at her box because it's pretty much the exact same showing us what we're gonna get inside and what she can do which were about to find out so time to open she's free she looks amazing because of how nicely everything works together between her light brown skin complexion and her pastel look now we're gonna take a quick look at her face and makeup and there's not that much of a difference between her and Dona Tina except that she's got white eyebrows sparkly blue eyes with little marshmallow light reflections dark blue mascara a brighter pink lipstick and no visible teeth she even has the curled bangs except that hers go directly across her forehead and they aren't off to one side her hair is white with pink blue and yellow pastel streaks going all through it it's parted down the center and pulled into two pigtails which are twisted and at the top of each pigtail we have double marshmallow bobbles each one has a little painted shopkin face on it if you don't know what a bauble is that's probably because I'm old and you guys call it something else now but basically it's like a little hair accessory now I'm interested to check over her routing because believe it or not she's more top-heavy than Dona Tina and although she can stand upright she has fallen over a few times now I'm thinking this is either because she's got a different hairstyle and it's kind of messing with her balance or the more likely option is that her hair is fuller and thicker usually I would take the style out so I can confirm that but honestly I don't want to because if I do take it out it's not gonna look as tight and shiny as it does right now from what I could tell it looks like each side has about nine rows of routing which is of course being pulled into the ponytail moving on to the rest of her body her arms still move and she is also wearing a one-piece dress the bottom skirt portion is white with pink yellow and blue marshmallow twists and two little pink bows and the top part is like a pastel rainbow of pink yellow blue and green with two more marshmallow twists as suspenders she's also got a little white collar and white lace around her sleeves just like before it comes off easily and has one piece of velcro at the back to hold it together and from what I can tell everything looks like it's stitched together pretty nicely and I forgot to mention earlier but the material of the dress is sort of stiff and crinkly and kind of reminds me of an umbrella so take from that what you will as I suspected her legs also still move and they don't feel stiff or anything so that's excellent just like Dona Tina Marcia is also wearing some underwear and these ones are white with little polka dots and a bow next we'll check out her shoes which are actually a shoe and leg warmer combo the top portion is light pink and each one has a little yellow bow on the side and the shoe portion is light blue with white marshmallow twists for the laces and the soles now let us set her back here and we'll get her her accessories first up is a baby Chino which is excellent because all preschoolers definitely need cappuccinos the bottom portion is light blue with a little shopkin face on it he's got arms and legs and all that and the top portion has a white rim a clear lid and straw and some little white and pink marshmallows inside so I'm pretty sure all we're supposed to do is give this a squeeze so it looks like she's able to sip it and when we do she's gonna choke on a marshmallow there you go little pink marshmallows not dangerous at all I mean if they were hot they'd be melting so they'd be safer to suck up through a straw but if they were hot you wouldn't be using a straw because that would be a scalding throat hazard so either way a little strange her second item is a little chocolate cake pop in a pink wrapper and the face on the front is winking at us according to the box we can actually pull it out and now we can try it with our doll once again she's to hold it and she does and it doesn't look like a machine gun so that's great and if we push it to her lips it's gonna look like she took a bite so here we go wow what a big bite push it back in and it will pull it right back out take another bite oh that's actually pretty cute and now she can have her baby Chino go drink it oops try that again there you go she didn't fall but now she's super hopped up on caffeine that's alright we'll drop her off at preschool and she'll be somebody else's problem that is it for candy kids and now it's time to move on to our candy fun shopping cart here is our cart it's red with a white bunny on the front some arms attached to the front wheels and a little paw print with a pink padded section on the back wheel there's also a pink section for our dolls to stand as well as a little cubby area and a cute little white cotton tail and on either side of the white handlebar we have a painted star although this one here is scratching off so if you try to buy these in stores I would give the best look over that I can before picking one to buy now all I have to do is open my accessories and it's been a while since I actually looked at shopkins so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure we've got Grand Jam here which is a purple jar of jam and then apple blossom which is basically a granny smith apple with a little yellow worm coming up whoa they both have little spots in the back of them so I'm wondering if we could stick these on the dolls thumbs so they hold them haha they do it's almost like that worm is a straw yeah let's give her the JME want some Jam no she doesn't and for now since I don't have very many other shopkins iins I'll leave the cardboard in the cart so it looks like we have items ahh look at that is even a little spot on the handlebar for her thumbs to stick into but it looks like she's holding it and she doesn't just fall over ah nevermind I didn't stick them on far enough in theory she's not supposed to fall over tada Dona Tina is feeling left out so I'm just gonna put her on there quickly where's your cake pop buy some stuff in the end the cart is pretty cute in my opinion it's not necessarily worth the almost $30.00 they're asking for it considering you only get the cart and two characters but I do like the moving bunny on the front as well as the holes that they've put in the back of things so that the dolls can interact with them there's pros and cons to everything okay guys that is from the kindy kids I am both super in for out hit my elbow that just tells me it's time to go I was really happy with the outcome of them and I definitely think I need to get more not only are they super adorable to have on display or play with because toys are for every age I'm a firm believer of that but they are absolutely perfect for preschooler hands if you know somebody who absolutely loves cute dolls food with faces or my videos in general then please share this one with them and if you enjoyed it yourself then please make sure you remember to comment like and subscribe you can let me know down below what you liked or
