What an eventful day!

how's it going guys i'm just sitting on literally the step of my combine and i just finished eating my soup i'm getting a wiring harness replaced because these guys are awesome and i was sick of the beeping as you probably heard in previous videos so that's good this works out really good for me actually i just got finished eating my soup i believe that is truck number five waiting for a load we do run a few of these internationals um we only have one kenworth w900 i guess we've never really talked about our trucks and trailers they will have to do it we'll have to do a video about that sometime but that's just lee's waiting on a load otherwise that's all i know for right now uh i guess i could get up we could go down and investigate what type of wiring harnesses were changing oh can't see from there there's our wiring harness problem broke so that was actually separated right yeah there's where my beeping came from no problem we're going to get that fixed this field is worse for canada thistle it's one of our worst fields actually for canada thistle canada thistle is not a battle if you do not know it it's a it's a weed that starts in the fall you want to get a good fall application on it and uh it's it's a war not a battle but a war it's getting a little full down there i think do the grain carts have trouble keeping up in lentils no they do not you know maybe when we get into wheat and derm where we can go faster uh we're not maximizing the capacity of these combines we're maximizing maximizing our cutting speeds because we're working with green straw even though this looks yellow you guys it's actually really hard to cut it's really hard to cut as you can see sometimes we leave some we get going too fast that's what happens you see that and i'll show you this is what happens if we get going too fast you leave some so it's a slow process we'll make better time when we get on the cereals then the grain carts will have trouble keeping up there's a truck number i don't know what truck number that is so we do like these hx series trucks this one is brand new it just got delivered yesterday let's go see what mark thinks of it oh this is number four i like these headlights okay well obviously they're off but they're led and they come down like an upside down l we like the big pin i really like this one has a big pin i'm sad that that one so that way we don't have to move the lentils any more times than we don't have to because every time you move these lentils you'll have you'll crack more and you know what i said about cracking that's dockage stock which equals less money less money equals you go from craft dinner down to just what i would normally live on with his itchy band no that's not true i'm married now i'm living i'm living like a king because ashton always feeds me so much it's awesome until i start looking like a king with a big belly and then okay we're going to stop that okay if he starts in that back offer we do not want to be downwind because we are downwind yeah we're moving come around this side oh oh easy easy there i just want to run in and jump right underneath there okay i'm gonna run up here i just get up here and he's going over there frankel's hates me let's do some walking i love walking on trailer frames i like to feel the uh what could happen if i fall in i don't know what that feel is but i like it i'll catch it yeah i got two does not take long to fill with oh he's gonna back up and knock me off this trailer we're turning around i think i could tight rope you know if if you were really skilled should be able to stand on here and jump bar to bar to bar to bar to bar that's basically parkour i think that's what all the cool kids are doing i would do it if i maybe wasn't oh man i would definitely try it if we just put a little bit of green in there for when i slip it i don't land on one of those bars down there i would try that just jump back down there again i don't need to be back up there you know if i knew he was going to keep going forward i could jump on that track and do some and do some hi mark hi bye oh anyway and use this as like a treadmill see we do have cameras here and he's out of here whoa oh gabrielle he he calls his truck gabrielle everyone's got a name for something around this operation we don't know what frankel's named his two-track but uh we're all putting the pool together and uh all this team we're gonna name it gertrude for him we're just commenting on this new truck because all these guys are looking at it too well all these guys as in us three and my other four other selves and we're just like you know all this space and they put the fuel cap right here like i don't know what would be wrong with right here but and no led lights on the back like really all led lights on the front but no led lights in the back that's like having the fan combines with their shields all led lights on the outside but then they put halogens underneath the panels for if you're servicing them at night like who does that although i should say that they have been updating those and taking them off putting leds in but all right i'm still waiting we're all commenting on the floor mat i uh i feel like i feel like that's the floor mat i feel like we they may have forgotten a bite so it it goes from here here to here so this is your floor mat right here not here not there not here right here that's just funny oh we love what we do one thing i just noticed is the back of that sleeper has the fairing that rubber on the back and it's about a one foot extension you can see it from the window all the way back where this one doesn't see that but i was notified that they have been ordered oh while i'm waiting we brian broke a section off with a rock no big deal except we have to chisel this one off using two people one person to hold the pliers in the chisel and i always wound up and hit it and i shot that chisel somewhere we cannot find it we're joking i must have shot right out the back of the combine somewhere it just left the guy like the pliers there slipped through i told him i was gonna wind up yeah try for the blue jays i guess look at that safety we actually put the arm down because we're under here safety first around this camp as always yeah like it's a pretty big chisel you don't think that we would not be able to see this thing like are we blinder than bad sir right here i wound up with two hands like a batter and i hit that thing and it missed it and i shot that chisel somewhere like a shot from a gun and we heard it hit the ground i didn't even see it well i know it went over there somewhere like we're talking like six inches long here at least mark we lost a chisel i wound up like a blue jay batter here and i completely missed the bolt i hit the chisel and i shot that thing somewhere lee lee you're the man if you can't do it marco's again no i don't know was it where was it right there we like we four people search this area wow it's gonna be the batter batter batter here you wind up and you you you hit that thing you do it you do it good yeah it's a fun one oh yeah no like bigger ones wind right up this actually does work you guys we have chiseled off many of these you know back in the old days headers used to be all rivets you had to chisel everyone all right we were not the mess messing around crap we're pulling out the big guns air hammer this thing ha holy cow i gotta get me one of those where is it right here thank you good sir freaking awesome look what we found in the rock trap of this thing unbelievable that took us like two seconds to do two seconds to put that section on way too long to take it off all right we're just about done here i replaced two wiring harnesses and replaced the joystick because i was having some unload issues not unload but auger swing issues so uh we had had that happen before last year so normally there's a bunch of faulty joysticks that went out so now we're just doing an auger cowl and i'm on the road all right guys we are fully functional we are fully operational and we're going this field is a 320 right here that we're on the next field which actually borders the other field is a 480. technically we did seat them all as one but we won't harvest them as one there's the farm actually over there so we're right near the farm well when it's dusty visibility is not that good and we're cutting right on the ground what could possibly go wrong i know there's some green coming up look at all that green straw you guys see that green straw out there hear the combine groaning so you're only allowed this is immature hold on let me shut this off this is just immature like these are red lentils but look that's grass green that's basically silage we're putting through these combines all right no wonder why these combines aren't loving this you guys see the green in the sample you're only allowed about a half a percent of that you guys only a half a percent so the reason why we're chewing through is because i got lots to mix off so we're going to be okay but even look in the mirror you got to make sure that it's coming out your chopper because this kind of green will plug you up or it will mess you up it will mess you up real bad but since uh oh man don't even get me going with how many times we plugged the chopper on these things last year but they have since fixed that issue except for the tracked unit because we were using that as our check remember we have so far unplugged that track unit uh pretty sure it's been five times so far today and that is not fun with this green straw it will pack in there so stinking tight you can't get it out and yes yes you are correct they are gonna be putting that update in like we probably should have put it in right off the goal but okay let's do a check to make sure that they actually fix these ones we know that they fixed them let's get the freaking update in there and get the rocking and rolling oh hi hi hi sir oh this combines way nicer well when it's a saturday evening and you just got delivered pizza what do you do you stop the combines and you go eat pizza everybody is looking forward to their day off tomorrow we do try to take sundays off don't know if i've ever said that before ready for some pizza we're ready for pizza we're just on our way to my brother's place because we just happen to be working right beside his house oh oh i almost lost my pizza we don't know where the rest of the crew is but snooze they lose your bowl half full of milk and then you get to the cereal cabinet and there's seven pieces of cereal in there oh they're like i've done that grainy yeah i like that like we're talking about do you talk about cereal do you warm up your milk for your cold cereal not hence would be cold in the morning or do you just take your cereal and pour cold milk into it or do you eat your cheerios say it's cheerios right away so they're crunchy like i like them i like everything crunchy as soon as it gets soft i have to dispose of it i can't even eat it once my cheerios get soft and smoke but but wrinkles wrinkles how do you like to have your cereals soggy [Laughter] no okay reckless that's okay [Music] then the flavor goes into the milk no you can slurp it up with a straw you've got two mark if you if you were to make cereal you're the one who told me that you warm up your milk in the microwave first right oh that only only only was oh man this is what happens when we all get together for free time we start talking about different things and crap dinner and entry band at the whole other can of worms [Music] mark you're kind of you're you're great there we go all right well we're going to continue on here all right we're golden we're going to go hop back on our compounds here we had a quick uh quick supper enjoyed a little fellowship with everybody let's go combine well guys we actually moved to a different field we actually moved just off the farm yeah these are like the only trees you're pretty much going to see around here this dust is starting to get kind of bad um the reason why these spare tracks aren't straight is because this is the headland and the road is well right there even though it's kind of challenging to see so yeah i lost signal i lost bluetooth signal and uh you know that's where your tailings and all that fun stuff is but it's also all down here and on the monitor here as well i really don't have to have that that's you use the tablet to also uh i think i went through it on a couple other videos you can see all the different features of your combine it's also what how you use your automation um so on so forth but anyway lost bluetooth so but you know what no big deal you know what the biggest deal is is i can't play my tunes because i lost my bluetooth i don't give a crap about that i can't play my tunes anyway sorry guys i'm going to conclude this video um i just want to say thank you guys for hanging out with us today i says me myself and i and uh it's been a great saturday we've really enjoyed ourselves this is not normal where we could actually all sit together during the harvest season and eat pizza that is i can't even remember the last time we did that but we're also trying to take some time really to enjoy the season enjoy ourselves there's plenty and plenty and plenty of work that we have left to do so harvest is not a sprint you guys it's a marathon so we don't want to be wearing ourselves out right off the go we're probably going to be going until about middle of october unless unless things just get really crazy for us in a good way um if this dust moves over here and stays center with me we'll we'll be shutting down as soon as it gets dark because we just won't be able to see and it's too dangerous to suck in a rock you could run into something you just don't know and when it's dark out it's even worse because the lights reflect off that dust it's even worse so anyway thank you guys i will conclude everyone's looking forward to their day off tomorrow and uh i just want to wish you guys a great weekend even though you're probably not going to see this until tuesday or something adios amigos about that time when you're just around in the corner and you take a big wad of that green stuff in and your rotor says i don't think so buddy and you plug her ah flat beard there's uh shear pins on the back of these rotors there's two in each rotor and uh i think i cheered my pins yeah because i do have rotor reverse but not if you have shear pins it's just been such an eventful day uh nope i don't think it was my shipping i don't think it was my shear pins all right guys so we blew this big belt off i don't think we wrecked the belt he goes up there i got to figure out why that happened did we just rip a pulley off was it that could you know like that when you when the rotor takes a big wad in it will actually do this and your tensioners can let up and come back down it can almost spring the belt off sometimes that could happen so i just have to figure this out well i figured it out i blew the belt off oh there's two belts one of the belts goes back there this belt is actually flying and it just when this belt ripped off it must have just let something came loose and that belt fell off basically well i heard a big block away and i guess now we know what happened so that surprises me that that happened i am quite surprised that it would rip that belt off not gonna lie guys well that sucks i just had my pizza and coke i was ready to go we're going late we're going chugga chugga chugga here like yeah i guess it's as green as grass and i was turning a little bit too fast but come on hey don't judge me on my cutting here okay going this way it does not cut good because they're kind of lodged this way anyway yeah that's it calling my dealer i need a guy out here i need
