versus east coast i love both styles west coast is more bitter and east coast ipa is going to be less bitter more juicy two of the most popular styles in craft beer but i don't discriminate you give did you wake up this morning 4 30 central 4 30 central the flight was great but tsa did pull me over for a private search i don't know what that was all about we're adjusting our water chemistry for the west coast ipa uh gypsum 9.3 grams pounds nine that's a lot of nine point three that's a lot i got these numbers straight from the source here mr number man here you do it all right so we did adjust the water chemistry on this beer we don't do it for every beer but we typically do for a west coast and east coast ipas is kind of important for these beer styles put those away and i want sage trying to smoke them later what's up grains what do we need grains uh 12 pounds of two row oh yeah a little bit of munich uh crystal 40. it smells like hopes and dreams smells like regret in my and you want it to be good you need to ferment it low and slow okay stuck the landing there it is boom there it is the judges are loving it they're loving it man so we're doing it at 66 degrees bringing today i brewed it actually like two weeks ago so this is what this will be in a couple weeks we're tasting brewing tasting the same day great first time ever time warp the beer is great definitely west coast ipa it's got the perfect amount of booziness and bitterness i'm i'm a big fan of the the pininess little dank i like the nose on this one smells good i don't like ipas no it definitely hits that west coast ipa resiny bitter boozy we did it we made this beer together [Music]
