what up guys I haven't made a video in a while so I'm going to just kind of post on here as I as I please and yeah I'm going to post start posting about my new truck I haven't posted since I was like on here since I was like like 12 so I don't know if the window is messing up the audio but hopefully I can get a microphone but um yeah as I work out my truck I will post on here as I do upgrades such and such I've done quite a few upgrades on this truck since I've gotten it we actually just got the seats and carpet put back in because got the carpet all painted blue Yes actually it can you can paint carpet I know I didn't know I didn't know you could paint carpet but um we got this truck for about 105 it's a 96 Chevy Silverado single cab short bed um has a 5.7 L V8 under the hood stock pretty much stock um we have us mags on them Wheels um we took the bed liner out uh it uh there's a bunch of surface drust but we're going to get the bed we're going to get a spray bed liner we're going to spray that with bed liner um and yeah so I'm just going to take you through my truck real quick and show you the upgrades we've done uh since we've gotten the truck first thing I wanted to show you guys are these wheels that we have on this truck us mags Chrome Billet with these lock lugs and put Chrome tab for the tube that's one of the main reasons we bought this truck so the first thing the very first thing we did was we bought a new set of lugs for this truck because the guy before had these big old lugs that look like a SP white and they were blue and they did not look good to us personally uh me and my Dad we did not like those so we got these nice about they're about 2 in about 2 Ines the lock lugs about 60 bucks for a pack and um yeah so we put those all around the truck and it looks better now uh made didn't make a big difference but it made a difference in the wheels for sure so yeah the next item next item on the list is the Billet antenna really nice shorter than the stock and makes it look very good I love the Billet look to it very nice on to the next item now that we are in the front of the truck we are talking Grill we are talking bumper we are talking Hood brand new hood it was not brand new well this is OEM original OBS Hood just Sleek style very nice um Dad painted it black until we go and get body and paint done so it's just going to be spray painted it's spray painted black for now so yeah that's done and then we got a new bumper too because the other bumper was very scratched up I would say so yeah um on to the next item moving more towards the back of the cab we have the third brake light we got this from a pickarts very nice looks kind of new uh we don't know if we're going to keep it yet works very well but we might just when we get body done we might fill it in with some welds and grind it down and make it look slick so yeah that part's new on to the next item now before we even go into the truck we have this brand new weather strip along all the outside of the door makes it closed nice and tight and also this piece of weather strip right here that goes all the way down so that is another piece that is brand new and also this right here is new but is still OEM to trucks uh it came off of a probably another Silverado or a Tahoe something of that matter so yeah that's another thing um I will show you guys new parts that have come in the mail but we have not put on yet so yeah so here as we go into the truck first thing you see is like oh your bezel is not on uh that's because we have been doing a lot of work on it on the interior we we told me and my dad uh came to a conclusion we're going to get all the interior done first and we will be and then we will be heading on to the out the exterior of the truck doing Paint Body exhaust system and all of that matter so yeah um now uh we got a really really sweet Chrome or not Chrome Billet um steering wheel very nice I love it um this is the attachment for it so yeah that's very nice so that's one thing obviously that's not OEM or original so another thing as you step into the truck sit down behind the wheel this this is not original to this truck but it did come off a another truck um it goes to 120 except for instead of 100 um very nice looking it's all white ites it's not uh all like it's not all ruined it's very nice it's very clean and my dad also cleaned the the um the gosh I can't think of the name the protector The Protector also got a brand new to this truck at least we got a new HVAC very clean nice also we got a new radio Kenwood radio very nice nice hooked it up very easy to hook up and it slides in like a glove do not I do not have the face on it we take the face off when we are not using it so yeah so it doesn't get stolen all right on to carpet so as you can see this carpet looks very wellmaintained but it's I mean it is wellmaintained pain but I'm just going to say we so we we spray painted this carpet with automotive paint uh with vinyl spray paint um I hate when stuff gets on it I'm going to have to vacuum this after but um yeah so it looks it looks like it came from the factory it looks so good and then also if you take this down you can see this carpet back here was also painted and when and onto another object on to another item we have two 10 kickers very nice very nice I'll put that back later um and then under these seat we have a 300 watt amp and and onto the dash on to more of the dash we bought a new glove box because on on the glove box um it looked like somebody had like like really dug their finger into it and like scratched it so we bought a new glove box that was a very hard part to find but we found one and yeah we also bought another one of these found found that on eBay most of these parts we really look on eBay for because they might eBay eBay Motors has a very wide selection of Parts they may take a little bit to come in but it it'll it'll be worthwhile we bought a Dash Skin so uh the dash looks almost brand new and the Dash Skin they say never cracks so yeah we have not glued it down yet but that will be glued down as soon as we get everything ready for the bezel so yeah um the reason we do not have the bezel ready is because we're waiting to get these two wires hooked up to the fog light switch um we have the bezel and everything for that ready we're just waiting for the switch and a relay so yeah we got door panels we've got all that kind of stuff so I'll show you that guys here in a minute but let's go to the engine all right guys so we're under the hoodie now so here's a part I forgot to tell you on the exterior that I got uh this Fender is not off of this uh is not original off of this truck at least um it is a OEM Fender though uh indigo blue surprisingly we got an indigo blue Fender off of marketplace that was awesome so sorry if it's very the audio is very scratchy I don't know if it is scratchy at all because it's very windy here but um we have the fuse relay Center we had to take that off and the mount for that off also the computer we had to re remove that and these cables we had to remove that to get this F to get the old Fender off to put this new Fender on but it was no problem we knocked it out in a day so yeah uh we had to buy a new battery um cuz the old battery kind of just went out so we bought a new battery that is a another thing that is new on this truck when we bought it um another thing was the uh crap I forget what it's called the power steering uh or the the gearbox I don't know why I said power steering but the gearbox the gearbox started leaking on us we do not know why but yeah we got a new one installed it uh we found a guy that installs them we did not want to mess with that so yeah quick and easy he did he did he knocked it out in a day it was really good and then this this motor and the trans on this man it's awesome it shifts well it's it's just it sounds good we we we love this engine so yeah 5 point 7 V8 all right on to the next all right guys here we are back in the garage so this is the new bezel for the cluster the radio the a the uh AC and and the Heat and also the fog light switch and the cargo lamp here is a door panel so we are going to work on this we are going to be taking off this rubber piece it smells like smoke it's the only part of the door panel we cannot get uh the smoke smell off of so we ordered those pieces I believe no not that's not the other one that is the other one right there right there so this is the old we're going to be selling this this is the old one uh the old glove box this is the old cluster going to be selling that uh this is the storage container we took out that was right by the computer it's I didn't even know they made these honestly it's pretty cool but we took it out uh from under the hood this this is the new exterior door handles speaking of door handles we got new interior ones they just forgot to put the left hand side in the package so I kind of bummed out about that but they're sending a new one so um this okay those are the locks just those are the locks that's the steering wheel we took off um anything else yes there is something else in uh exterior these are these two boxes are the trim and then I don't know where the interior or the the yeah the interior um handle is but it looks similar to that it's a blue it's just the this piece with the handle and the lock so yeah hey guys this is the truck so far oh my gosh okay uh big big key detail this is a new um tailgate this is not this is a GMC Sierra tailgate uh but it is very clean and this is the full tour of my 1996 Chevrolet Silverado short bed Chevy single cab guys and remember guys remember to Ride Slow and ride low see you guys on the next
