getting started on Weight Watchers or want some inspiration here's what I ate in a day for 23 points plan yes we will discuss smoothies and their point value that's a controversial topic for sure delicious fata was perfect for a Sunday brunch and yum yum this is some chicken tortilla soup that is totally toddler approved at least my toddler loves it and insists upon it also there were time for some process snacks and I'll explain why I had these these aren't even my normal snack options so every morning starts pretty much the same for me I grab actually I grab two cup K Cups because I'm a mom on the go I load them in one by one and of course these are zero points coffee black is zero points but I don't like to drink coffee black actually actually so I do measure out 1 and 1/2 tbspoon total of half and half for my 2k cups worth of coffee and I put those on the 8 oz setting but I do do strong so that's kind of like The Best of Both Worlds to have the most of it but I still don't use a whole lot of this I don't use a full serving if I did which is 2 tablespoons that would be two points but for me I indulge in one point of half and [Music] half next up always the same except for the days I forget I take my prenatal you might ask wait a minute your postpartum why are you taking a prenatal actually my hairdresser suggested that I continue to take my prenatal so that it wouldn't be another dip that my body experienced and I don't know if just following his advice worked or not but my hair did not fall out like I had heard many of my friends did in my mom's group so you may notice they are gummies or maybe you didn't so they do cost me one point a day in prenatal vitamins long story short when I was in pregnancy I simply could not swallow pills I had a gag reflex especially in the morning and I had to take a number number of that way anyway if you know prenatals they typically are very very big so instead I chew on two of these gummies they're really tasty actually and I just kept that up throughout my postpartum experience okay so fruit smoothies I'm going to be honest I count these as zero points that's right I know I'm going against the Weight Watchers rules the rules state that if eaten with a spoon these items would be zero points it's all frozen fruit and nonfat yogurt and I just add some water in that's all there is to it but the idea is if you eat something with a straw it will not let you know if you are full or not and so therefore it develops points here's the thing I've talked with my Weight Watchers leader about it I only usually make this one time a week I usually make it on Saturdays so it's on the go it's something really healthy for me and she said as long as it's working for you count it the way you want to count it so I know this is a controversy comment below how you feel about the Smoothie rule on Weight Watchers if you are a member I just honestly feel like it fills me up I'm not going back for more snacks and so therefore I'm counting as zero points because all the ingredient ingredients are zero points items so you might not agree but that's just how I feel about it and it it definitely works for me here's my son messing with the oven because we are also making frittata which I'm going to talk about in just a little bit it's never a dull moment with a toddler who loves buttons and yes we will be definitely getting some of those things locked soon he hasn't really attempt it anything with the knobs but we're working on it and he loves the smoothie too I don't think I have any pictures of him drinking it right here but he totally enjoys it and we'll give it to him with his dinner [Music] sometimes so this is what I'm actually having for my brunch for Sunday I got up a little late I made myself a smoothie but then just had a little bit of that and this is an egg white frittata that has bonus protein with the non-fat Greek yogurt uh which is of course zero points egg whites are zero points I added them broccoli 2 oz for the total recipe of really good aged cheddar cheese from Costco and then 8 oz of ham you might hear my son in the background that was from a Christmas ham that I froze right away we had friends over so we ate this together they loved it they thought it was delicious they never would have known it was a Weight Watchers approved recipe so for an eighth it is two points also pairing it with some strawberries my late afternoon snack now these won't be available forever I got them on the Weight Watcher shop which no longer exists but perhaps some of your local shops or workshops have them still so so you could always ask to see they are two points they're really tasty and delicious um yeah so I will show you what they look like inside kind remind me of like PopCorners some sort of like popcorn chip but also sort of like a tortilla chip very tasty has a good flavor and only two points so I'm going to enjoy that with my Spindrift lemon Selzer water for 3 calories and zero points and here is my spin dff nice and freshing this is one of the lower calorie ones out of all of them so far I've seen a range of I think two calories with the lime one to 17 calories with grapefruit but they're all delicious you would enjoy them if you're into sparkling water and real flavors I am not a fan of the tea ones but that's just not my thing but I do really enjoy the sparkling water with the fruit juice you can see here I had some frozen tortilla soup chicken tortilla soup which I will be doing a recipe for soon you might hear my sun in the background I originally was going to actually make the Weight Watchers recipe of the week but then some things came up so we just went with a simple meal that actually will be for me and my son he loves this recipe he just eats it all up so that's what we're doing oh oh it's too hot I'll bring it back but it's too hot so my son already ate his this is Mom mine usually it doesn't look this stringy he is upset because well he wants his water right now but he wants more soup and it's too hot right now cuz he likes his soup luk warm so this is my meal I haven't eaten mine yet in fact I'm kind of holding off and making sure we have some leftover for him for tomorrow cuz he loves it so much and uh-oh Asher say uh-oh oh boy so it's around 8:30 at night my son is in his crib and appears to be asleep and I had only actually used seven points for the day so far so I am going to enjoy a three-point snack of hippies this is an ounce serving I do weigh it on my scale I may be having a few more snacks but I'm not sure I'm going to use all 23 of my points as I referenced for dinner we were going to do a different plan of a meatloaf that would have been I think two points some potatoes probably for two or three points and a vegetable maybe for one point so the fact that I had a one point soup instead definitely has me at less points than I was expecting to have at the end of the night I do enjoy snacking I'm probably going to have a piece of chocolate later for 4 Points I will keep you posted on what I'm having for the day so my day took a turn for the unexpected and I had to take my spouse into the ER so I did pack these two snacks especially knowing I was really light on the points up through the day so these toast cheese come up as seven points on the app and these caramel rice CPS were three I did end up using or both these snacks I ate both these snacks uh however one was actually past midnight so I guess technically it was on to the next day but I chose to think of it like it was on the day prior because I was still awake uh the day ended for me into the next day around 3:00 a.m. going home getting some rest my parents watched our son uh so all was well uh it had to do with kidney stone pain but these were the two unusual snacks I don't usually eat these These are actually for my son both of them um but yeah that's how I end up my day of um 23 points
