WEEKEND EVENING ROUTINE WITH KIDS

- Hi, guys! Welcome back to my channel. In today's video I thought we'd show you what our evening routine looks like with kids but, on the weekend because it definitely is a lot different from during the week. We are a lot more relaxed, we get a takeaway, we let the kids have a movie night and, stay up a little bit later. So, I thought it might be interesting to show you how we do it on the weekend. I really hope you enjoy this. Okay so today we've had football in the morning and then, we went to the soft play and we've just got home it is about 4 o'clock and the kids are starving so I'm gonna give them an apple. That's one of their favorite snacks and while they have that, Kaleb is up for doing some homework I probably wouldn't normally do it this late in the day but we have been out this morning and we're just practicing his reading. (Sounding out words) - Moss. - Good boy! (Sounding out words) - Cup. - Cup! That's right! - He also had to draw a penguin as part of his homework so of course he put on his penguin bathrobe while he was drawing the penguin and then I'm gonna get the boys some milk ready I tend to give the boys milk with dinner every single night. And for dinner tonight were being a bit naughty because it is a Saturday so I've ordered Pizza Express by delivery. So I've got them some dough balls and the garlic butter as well which they really, really love and then I've got two margarita pizzas. They used to be able to split just one between all of them but Freizer has such a big appetite he can pretty much just eat one of the pizzas himself. So I'm just gonna plate it all up and I tend to cut up the dough balls and put butter on each one equally because otherwise there's not really enough to go around or they argue over it so I'm gonna do that and then I'm just gonna slice up the pizza. And I'm also gonna give them some red peppers, they love red peppers raw like I think its 'cause they're so sweet but they will eat this vegetable without any problems so there you go. I'm just gonna line the boys up on the breakfast bar and then they can have their pizza. Pizza Express is probably the boys favorite restaurant they all eat really well in there and sometimes Matt and I will also have this but tonight Matt really fancy's something different. So were not eating with the boys were gonna get our own takeaway but Jackson bless him he's so tired. He's yawning away there but while they're happy and eating all together I'm gonna run around and just tidy up a few bits that were left out from today. Like Freizer's bits from football and then also just give the surfaces a wipe. Anything I can kinda do with in arms length of the boys ill do. For pudding Jackson is having peach yogurt he really likes this. Where as the big boys are having these honeycomb yogurt bites I get them from our local farm shop and they really love them. Then I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea and fold some laundry while the boys are playing after dinner. You can see Friezer on the play station in the background. And yeah I just have to do laundry every single day. As a family of five we have to do at least a load a day so whenever they're quiet and happy and I get the opportunity I will fold laundry and put it away. At about 5:30 that is when Matt gets home. - Oh, hi, coach! - I thought I heard the record on. - I was waiting. - How was work? - It was amazing. - Was it? - What are you recording? - Evening routine. - I'm sorry. - Weekend evening routine. - Weekend evening routine okay and I'm being filmed. (Laughter) (Mumbles) - Sorry! - Yeah so now that daddy's home he can spend some time with the boys have some cuddles and then we'll normally take them up for a bath at about a quarter to 6. Sometimes we bring the bath forward on movie night just to make them feel like they've actually had more of a movie night and more time after the bath. So, yeah just gonna run the bath put some toys in and while Matt looks after them in the bath I will tidy up. If we're both at home we tend to take it in turns. One does the bath one runs around like lunatic trying to tidy everything up. Like Friezer's bath was so quick he's already downstairs with me. And then I'm just gonna straighten up the couch so we can like chill out later. Jackson is so very tired tonight I'm worried that he's actually coming down with something now 'cause he just seemed really arthralgic and a little bit warm as well but I'm going to get him all set for bed. Alright Jackson has gone to bed even though its only about 6:30. I think we've just had such a busy day or he might be coming down with something you know, you just don't know but he's gone to bed early and now were going to -- well, normally we would have a movie night but there is football on tonight. It is Chelsea vs Arsenal so the boys want to watch that like Matt and Friezer do Kaleb would just like join in. I would like to point out that we don't support Arsenal or Chelsea they support Tottenham but they still want to watch it so I'm just gonna get some popcorn out and watch some football I mean this is my life now, right guys? Now that I have three boys and Matt I just have to get used to it. For mine and Matt's dinner tonight were actually gonna have a curry. Although the boys had Pizza Express for dinner we really fancied Indian food. So we've actually never done that before, get two different types of takeaway. We'd normally all get the same like all get Nandos or all get Pizza Express but Matt really fancied a curry tonight so were getting the two. So he's ordered it and he's gone to pick it up so we will probably just eat that and watch the football as well. Yeah so I'm just gonna get some popcorn out they like this sweet and salty one and then Kaleb really loves these Doritos they are his favorite. So he's having them as a treat and then Matt is home with our takeaway. I forgot to say that for tonight's dinner I put on my stretchy trousers. - Stop turning me on! - Sorry, I'm just so attractive on a Saturday night but I'm just gonna plate up our Indian food and while the boys are in the background playing on fifa and watching football. So when it comes to Indian takeaway we always order the same thing so I'll show you what we've got. We've got poppadoms, and the mango chutney then we get a chicken tikka main, chicken dhansak curry which is really nice and then we always get the onion bhajis and the like pita rice so this is my plate and then we are gonna put mint sauce on it. Matt loves mint sauce, that's why he gets extra. (Laughter) - So, yeah! After dinner were gonna watch some of the football with Kaleb he gets pretty tired so he doesn't actually stay up that late. Tend to put him to bed at about 7:30. Freizers in the other room playing Fifa for a bit and then he'll join us after. It is now kk's time to go to bed you getting tired? No. Tonight were reading the smelly sprout, aren't we? - Yeah. - You like this one. - Yeah so I'm just gonna read Kaleb one book and then put him to bed and once he's had some milk I'm gonna brush his teeth. He was so tired that we actually brushed them in bed tonight but that is Kaleb down so just one left to go but were actually gonna let Friezer stay up and watch The Voice with us. We love doing this it's so nice to have some one to one time with him being the eldest of three means you know he gets lost a bit not lost but you know there's so much focus on the little ones that its really, really nice to spend some quality time with him. And then once The Voice is finished obviously it's quite late by then so then daddy is gonna take Friezer up and put him to bed. I am then gonna have a decaf coffee. This is my favorite one. It is the Nescafe Azera. It's just instant but it's really, really yummy so we love that and then I'm going to sit down on the couch and chill. So now I'm just gonna chill out with my coffee and watch some Netflix. I've actually started watching a series called Sex Education and it sounds a bit weird and Matt was like, "What is this?" But I've watched a few episodes and now I'm really into it it's really funny. So yeah I'm just gonna watch that and probably go to bed at about 11 but I hope you enjoyed our little weekend evening routine thank you so much for watching and ill see you all in my next one! Bye!
