Hello friends! Welcome to the twenty fourth video update of Little Misfortune it’s me Natalia. Did we manage to finish the game, you ask? Yes, we did!!!! Isak: The game is done, we just need to polish... Natalia: *laughs* We've been polishing like five months now... Isak: Yes... We are done with all implementation! Incredible!!!! Confetti party to Killmonday, you have been amazing, is an honour to work with such dedicated and talented beings!!! and thank you sweet friends for being such supportive community! and although things are done we still want to optimize as much as possible but the good news is that we already have our feet in the process a little ahead of schedule, for once! Before I go ahead with the week works, I’m gonna answer some of your most asked questions. How long is the game? The game takes around 3 hours to play at least one run, it’s possible to play it twice and get to see and experience new things. What’s the price? The price is around 19 dollars. When is release? The date of release will be announced as soon as we have the key stores accepted as Steam and GOG. But as we see it, before October ends, ok? And now to work! Harald, Anton and Isak are doing improvements on code, profiling scenes to see what can be optimized and testing. Testing a lot! Anton is the shader master and now he is mainly tiding up any code or asset that can have small errors. Harald is the optimization Rockstar and he is now in the process of profiling, finding, fixing and being puzzled by mysterious stuff that shouldn’t happen, but happens. Elsa has been shining like a star these week. She managed to gather all images we needed for the digital book of Little Misfortune, and now she is illustrating the cover of the book with her gorgeous art. You go Elsa! Essi has been a mindblower lately she’s doing sketches, mood-boards and asset designs for SOMETHING…. and helping with the optimization part of Little Misfortune. Isak has been amazing these week. He has been working even weekends to be able to finalize the game. But don’t worry for him, he is actually happier and more relaxed it's amazing to see the end of the tunnel of such long project. And We know that at the end of every project, we need to push a little bit harder in order to get things done. And I’ve been doing varied things lately, also working extra hours to fix assets if needed I’m currently working on a trailer to reveal the date of release too. I’m also learning how I can become a better game designer/art director. Since we are self-taught, there is a lot of valuable information that I have been missing for a long time, specially when it comes to the technical part. This week we also got a little party organized by Mr. Red where we got to play Jenga, celebrate the completion of the game and just spend some time together. And we're done!
