We tried Erewhon's Incredibly Expensive Foods *worth it?!*

this is officially a Food Channel now I don't know when it happened I'm not mad about it at all if you watch my main Channel you might have saw me go to airan and test onear reviews if you don't know what airwan is it's a really really expensive grocery store quite possibly the most expensive in America maybe even the world they became really popular for their extremely overpriced in my humble opinion smoothies that they collaborate with celebrities on so when we were filming that video we couldn't help but notice the really really expensive interesting items in the store but we didn't really have a chance to dive into them so I just so happen to be online the other day I think I might have got an ad for it but it was saying airwan ships certain items to Canada and I was like well let me just place an order I didn't even get that many items and this was my total we're going to see if this stuff is worth the Moola and when I say we I mean we because my mom's going to be in this too okay mom welcome to the second Channel nice to see you where we make you eat I don't know expired food no today's your lucky day don't look oh gosh this must have just got here oh my gosh it's moving you're going to feel so much better once you look okay ready ready open oh it's stuff from aan so I was thinking we could try some of their overpriced Goods oh oh yes is that the kale chips kale chips I've tried to make these before they're hard to make got to see if these have nuts in them I kind of checked everything I think they're okay but contains tree nuts wait what cashews Mia Mia I saved your life today you almost ate a a cashew and my epip pens expired oh no you guys I literally have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning to get a new epip pen we have to read everything I thought I did when I ordered oh no so these raw kale chips in ranch flavor which by the way I got the ranch cuz I wanted the ranch but now I can't try the ranch how much do you think this raw killed chips was okay well there there isn't much in here and it feels like Absolute Air there isn't much in there so I'm going to say that this would have been $10 Canadian and I'm estimating High cuz I think it should have been about seven High 19 okay well I guess I can't touch or eat it so go ahead okay oh that smells yummy can I smell M ew what it doesn't smell good just for anyone at home that's wanting to smell this oh my gosh I'm excited M that is good it's so good that I feel like this is supposed to make you think it's healthy for you but it's really not oh the drama what if I started eating a lot of these at $20 a container though you just need to be ready to pay that would be a guilty pleasure yeah sitting down and eaing $20 of kale is kind of problematic okay next we have oh Himalayan pink salt organic chocolate 70% % CA wow you're reading well without your glasses on and I like that it's wrapped in like this paper like craft paper looks very natural oh my gosh made in Canada what it went it was made in Canada shipped to the US and now got shipped back to you how much do you think this chocolate bar was um okay cuz it is it's only 2 oz so it's it's small it's small in there $5 10 m can I also just say something that I am a believer in paying for good ingredients and fair trade and ethical and sustainable things but I have a strong hunch that aan prices up and then prices up again now I can't say this for sure but I'm just saying this seems pricey even with the great ingredients that they claimed to have in it that's how I felt about the Smoothie too when I was reading the ingredients I was like okay I still don't get the price I think they still have a pretty hefty profit margin and I think that's why the name is so luxurious see what it looks like M it's really me it's really rich smelling Rich let's try it okay I'm really tasting the salt the salt is actually really strong I thought it would be kind of like an afterthought but it's almost the full thought you know what this is this is the type of chocolate bar that would satisfy someone who's never had milk chocolate they'd be like M what is that delicious taste and then you'd show them like milk chocolate and they'd be like what now here we have open up Ma Asha pops popped water lily seeds wow and I got the chili ones I'd say $5 but I'm rounding I'm going to say seven just because it's so 11 it does kind of seem like popcorn like it it does give popcorn energy water lily SE I am nervous I'm allergic M are they good they're fun oh they're fine to Crunch on wait a minute that flavor is nice because it has oh wait I like exhaled and my air that filled my mouth tasted really weird I don't know if that was that or just me eat one and then go like this and like breathe into your mouth go like into your mouth no no no you're not doing you exhale through your mouth but fill your mouth like this do you are you doing like breathing out into my mouth so like you usually you go like that just do that but with your mouth closed oh I see what you're doing it's coming into the back of my nose and throat aren't you smelling that totally Mia don't do that okay are you ready I'm ready okay okay open up we have organic dried mango in this luxurious jar I'd say this is pretty expensive I'd say this is going to be like $15 21 wo $21 like go you could go in there and buy five things $100 yeah I did basically why is it so hard to open why is it so hard to open I got to dry my hand oh I got it did you get it oh nice oh did you hear that it was seals Su oh that is a fragrant mango smell wow they smell amazing usually when you open a bag of dried mango it does not smell that fresh that's fresh what a perfect piece of mango they're so soft they're a little chewy M now I haven't eaten a lot of dried mango I have how does this just compare I'm happy to report that these aren't just like rolled in Sugar yeah this feels like it's just natural dried mango nothing added I would not pay $21 but I will eat it okay next we have kind of a weird one I actually originally tried to get this seamoss jelly that was like $80 but it wouldn't ship here so I got seos you can open your eyes and also a seamoss gummy I do not know aran's obsession with sea moss because apparently there's sea moss in their smoothies too so we already ate sea moss without even knowing it raw full spectrum sea moss full spectrum so it says oh wait what sea moss will naturally be coated in salt and sand wash the Seamus under running water for 2 to 5 minutes be sure to strain the water and rinse the sea mus before soaking it is best to use filtered or spring water for the step be sure to the seam must is fully submerged in water leaving it fully covered soak for 4 to 6 hours wait what strain the sea moss and rinse one final time when blending you will want to use approximate two parts water to one part seamoss oh so they want you to put this blend it like into a smoothie too maybe yes mom smells like an orange this seems very specialized and seamoss is probably no small feet I'm going to say a whopping $25 wow mhm 42 woo I'm skeptical is there even anything healthy in this my gut health I honestly feel like we shouldn't even review this cuz it is literally a supplement let's keep going black truffle CH yum oh it does say California Proposition 65 War it consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including acrade which is known by the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects to other reproductive harm oh M I'm going to say $7 wow and that's that's expensive for a bag of chips that's insane but it's actually $12 wo $12 for this and it's like literally starts being full from here down oh oh oh they look just like normal plain chips these are real truffles let me try let me smell oh my gosh yes that smells so good okay so I got a couple things going on here the first taste was good and then I tasted something weird and now every bite after that tastes delicious it tastes like a french fry the potato Taste of these chips are really fresh M did you agree that your first taste though had something different about it mhm my mouth was like acclimating yeah I don't taste the Truffle as much as I smelt it mhm but it's really good they're good though this is the last item okay so wipe the grease from your face right what is that is that mushrooms she can't see if anyone's wondering like she literally can't see what's in this jar right now she needs her readers on chocolate coconut macaroon this is going to to be good I've never had a macaroon do you remember the macaroons we used to make with cocoa oatmeal wait is that a macaroon like Hy stack you trying to tell me that a hay stack is a macaroon I think that some people call those have a problem with this in the comments let's smell it it does smell like a Mia shall we ready okay M tastes like a hay stack that's a fancy hay stack how much do you think this was M I'm going to say $15 for 12 of these it was $25 those are good they're my favorite thing like this is probably a pretty healthy snack we're being healthy right now I think that's kind of the misconception with airan it's like I can eat anything here and be healthy yeah but it's like no airw sugar is just as sugar as normal sugar don't be fooled are you being fooled this is healthy this is healthy for me to have that was fun you are literally the perfect market for the store do you think tons of cash no no no no easily sold on anything I'm bad for door to-door sales people too cuz I'm like want to support them let us remember Evan Evan EV you literally scammed my mom you worked so hard I wanted to support you and then where did you go is $325 burning a hole in your pocket well airan will solve that real quick look what you can get look at this luxurious Goods you can get for the small loan of $325 that you will never get back
