all right Nick so uh you've been a fan of neopunk FM for a while yeah let's go I'm ready okay okay cool let's get education so who's Cemetery a cemetery is oh my god really cemetery is an underground raffer from Northern California and he's influenced by black metal witch house as well as as like Chicago uh drill music so on the left here you have vard from version which I'm sure being a Metalhead you're familiar with on there I have noticed that yeah yeah how familiar are you with like Chicago drill and Chief Keef not much man not much I I mean I do my trap metal garbage stuff it's just I just I'm a poser and pretend I know what's up you could probably say he's the varg of Chicago so I mean there's some kind of connection there in a sense this is uh his song slaughterhouse it's some of his more popular songs [Music] [Music] I feel like I'm almost more scared of him when he's singing about his slaughterhouse because it's I feel uncomfortable more so than if it was like a really buff dude with an actual Hatchet he's Rocky he's rocking it I love the yeah I love the outfit that is half of why I love this the other half is just it's a [ __ ] banger but yeah and and his Aesthetics are something that we're going to explore on a very deep and intimate level with you Nick I'm ready to be intimate but Nick let me let me ask you this did you notice anything uh in particular in that music video um he didn't have his shirt on half the time but when he was wearing a shirt he was wearing True Religion he was wearing new rock shoes he was wearing designer BBS studded belts he takes a bunch of pictures a bunch of fit pics it's it's like like spooky like Appalachia after dark type Aesthetics we tried out this aesthetic ourselves um we also made one of you I I know I'll go faster with the knives in case I need to run from the skinwalker yeah and you can you can like do like tricks with it right right right right if you draw your attention towards the image in the middle you'll notice that on the left cemeteries wearing two pairs of True Religion jeans at once but you'll notice that someone else is with them there on the right also wearing two pairs of True Religion machines at once that's because cemetery's not alone he's the founder of a collective known as uh the haunted Mound so there's Hackle uh he's a big SpongeBob fan and you know there's a lot of SpongeBob references and like a lot of his work I love SpongeBob okay I'm laughing at how perfect that is and I have a person to relate to that with while listening to their bangers uh and then there's Ghost Mountain if uh cemeteries like varg then ghost Mountain's like euronymous okay yeah was was there any potential stabbings happening between them though no no no stabbings they just kind of had bad blood for a while I think things may have been patched up behind the scenes I don't know if they still have animosity but but Ghost Mountain co-founded haunted Mound along with Cemetery their friends from high school but then a ghost Mountain wanted to to kind of leave the project in order to like go to college and have like like a regular like not music related career oh yeah [Music] I like how what they're saying is describing the accidents which are taking place in the video this is where the Ghost Mountain entry comes he's the boss Pit right now again come on boom I I do think that was magical in a in its own way um I don't like it as much as the slaughterhouse though really I gotta be real even though you didn't have a shirt on for half the time his his energy was a bit more believable although I believe he [ __ ] hard with the bunny suit but not as not as hooky not as catchy I feel like I'm going to be thinking about slaughterhouses instead of bunnies tonight who do you think would have went in a fight slip knot or the uh the haunted mound from what you've seen so far I mean they they do all look incredibly incredibly Jack I think Slipknot should be scared I'm not gonna lie I think Slipknot might lose that battle hand to hand right there these guys also look like they're not scared to like pull hair and like you know play a little dirty if they have to to to to stay alive or or sip a little dirty yeah lean some of that walk yeah cemetery is pretty tall but I don't know Corey Taylor does have that kind of big attractive kind of frame so and then and then they can make an album cover out of it too that would go incredibly hard I mean it's like a mix of like the Iowa Aesthetics you know what would you say to them if you could sit them down keep making bangers getting weird and um [ __ ]
