[Music] good morning Rio we are here it is raining the weather is a little hectic but check this out there's like a hundred jet skis right here I have a friend named Kai kaya he would absolutely lose his mind he'll probably want to build one of these or maybe just come hang out and check this out this is rad I've never seen so many jet skis speaking of jet skis today we're linking up with red bull in Rio and we're gonna go do some step-offs plays our small but we're planning on having some fun and meeting up with some really influential surfers all right well we made up a plan we're gonna try and make the best of it the waves are probably this big but I got my beater luckily because I'm not about surfing that on a normal board unless I got my twin fin and I forgot my twin fin at home I'm gonna introduce you guys to Lucas and Lucas that's who we're gonna be surfing with today ways not the best but we're gonna make the best of it look good you're gonna take us to get some big waves ready two big booms Lucas Trimble he's gonna hook us up and hang out with us and gay couples gonna do some big airs for us and then we got the other Lucas guys where is he oh my god remember I said we have two Lucas's master skin border yeah let me give you the best game border in the world they say curve a girl he likes it I like it but hopefully we get the gut skin part with you before we leave yeah for sure for sure you're gonna ride this Kim to Daytona i'ma ride the beater the buter better than you again yeah pretty nice I know if you have the finless air as well same same but different he's professional skateboarder and professional big-wave surfer just won the nazzer a contest with Kai Lenny some crazy stuff not craze like this we do we gotta go to like one of your skin spots yeah we sure we can check your Dino dance we're check-in traffic is aware that'd be we want to live we need to go back to the marina baby's your chia-chu yeah we can go like we can drive the same way you guys did yeah sort of all infants and then in the middle of that spot that way there's a beach which is between okay excuse backup son I need like a barrel really bad right now I think those little barrels that we got northeast Brazil they were like really little still looking for the vision just like Jackson right now how's that session fun fun yeah I like to be always like I'm the front for plastic skimmer thing I feel like skin borders usually have that flaw especially when you have the opportunity to be towed in on the ski I love it yeah we're doing now uh we got to go ahead back on the way to the marina and on the way we're gonna check a little surf break could be good could that be good but always worth to check so let's cruise back and yeah just keeping the good vibes on this Monday could be working could be in class could be doing anything else we're surfing and doing what we love so blessed thankful Hey that is a bomb drop rock and tides coming up I figured this would be the perfect thing to do today it's rainy yes it's still raining but we're gonna make the best of it over there on the rock gonna be some weird ledges boys are all on and we're activating let's get a look at this guy over there hey it's his first time ever surf in this spot I don't know why it looks pretty sick gonna go ask him why he has never surfed before I think he might have a good reason why you never see here before I never be on this beach just for skin borders and people who stay over here boogie borders as well there is some fighting right here I'm right here you've been to the party right there but never serve here never Center to you Miss Lucas's favorite spot right now yeah it's my favorite spot for sure grew up skimming here so many memories so many sessions over here training and practicing it gets fun for sure so you want to try yeah let's still bought like maybe bomb drops off this wall and then we yeah I want to see skim though why do you think the bomb drops are a bad idea the cubed chatter there jump on them or anything we're just going to land the wave like a big air stick it Bend on the way yeah we're practicing I think that's true I've tried plenty of times never landed though but I try planning it's perfect bomb drop sighs right now it doesn't matter how small the ways are matters it's it's eight feet out there right now bomb drop about go down right here in the middle of Rio we were psyching out of our mind this guy scared Lucas is psyching Nina psyching Foster if she's psychic I mean I'm in Brazil so it's really exciting yeah you know okay whoa and I'm tripping out hard there are the most massive explosions going down and we're gonna get amongst it I'm not sure if I should ride my cat surfboard a normal board but one thing is for sure is I got a really thick leash because I don't want to end up on these rocks this place is legit heavy and gnarly right some of the biggest surf we've seen the whole trip I'm psyching to get out there and watch a couple there's oh my god there's nobody out that's the best part about it there's nobody out how's those explosions it is very scary absolute Maddie out there look at this they're just like triangles coming in from like we know those we're bouncing off the walls we're gonna be doing frontflips somersaults you can get weird what do you think Lucas you're not the red you got the tone there like that many times you serve this wave here you put it back wash that's the biggest backwash I've ever seen in my life like straight up if that was a pipe I'll be psyching every day of my life I think the backwash is almost bigger than the waves that are coming at it I'm gonna ride my soft top I think you know it's got that girth that I need to pal into one of these massive back washes and I'm probably not gonna break my board if I read this board probably gonna break this board for sure but I never know what's gonna happen where throw some pins in this thing and get ready Jackson you better not crash the drugs today budget imagine the thing got took it out by the drill like a backwash which scoops it straight on sky well I look pretty nice right now Black's enough I'm kind of scared and I'm not gonna lie that this I mean it's just scary because it looks like we're jumping into the middle of the ocean like in the middle of Pacific Ocean everything's just going like Oh boom and I want to get smashed up against the rocks somebody is this wax will wax up my blade I'm gonna pray before I got on the beach and then we're on we're out there we're gonna blow up and have a great time whoa what oh my they don't have these waves and who are gonna get out there all right so we're about to foul out this short break backwash psycho session about to go down I hope you're psyching
