[Music] hey guys tim here with everventure custom and we're back again with another suburban this time we have a 2013 suburban that came to us from california um it's been a really awesome build and uh me and the guys knocked it out pretty quickly so uh hey we want to kind of show you around do a little tour and let you guys take a good look at this thing [Applause] so we're here at the passenger back passenger door and one of the features that she wanted in here was the third seat option and she's going to be riding around driving around all over the country and she wanted to have a third seat option in case she has friends or she takes her kids somewhere and so we had to work around that but we were able to do it [Music] and you can see right next to me i have a dometic crx50 this is a great little fridge for any type of build like this it comes with a freezer up on top it's got plenty of room for anything you want to put in here it also draws very little amperage so this thing kind of looks perfect for camping you can see right here we power it by the jackery explorer 1000 we built a little housing in here for a cabinet and if you wanted to take it out that's no problem you just take it out and on the side over here you just have some extra storage behind the seat in case you want to put you know maps in this case we have some back there wherever you want to put back there and up on top here we have a butcher block top and it's covered in tung oil so you know you can it's food safe you can cut on here chop on here whatever you want to do it's a great little space um you might be wondering why this part is a little shorter and there is a reason for that that the top end's here and this is a little shorter and for that part i'm actually going to hand it off to landon and let him talk to you about that so uh we'll let him take it away with the bed hey everyone landon here so um this customer wanted a particularly large bed she actually wanted it to be 80 inches by 48 inches so in order to keep this seat here and put such a big bed back here we have to move some things around so let's show you how to do that real quick [Music] all right now you're in bed it's getting a little dark but we got plenty of lighting options for you we got this fancy dimmer switch for your overhead lights we've also got these fancy led lights in all of these cubbies but if you don't like blue it doesn't matter we got any color you could really ask for um along with the sides we also went ahead and we did something a little different we used more of a bungee system instead of um like a cabinet door system so some a little different wait now let's talk about what's going on above us we've got this fancy fan here that sucks air in and blows it out which is super nice because it actually gets kind of humid inside of these vans a lot of the time then we have this beautifully finished alder ceiling that also contours to the shape of the suburban all right now let's go a little bit more in depth and talk about what's going on inside these boxes i'll hand that off over to tyler hey guys tyler here to talk about these boxes they are seven inches tall the reason we went with seven inches is so that this customer has a lot more head space for sleeping and lounging and we also figured seven inches is a good height and where we locked in height we went deep so you can see we have a massive pull out here and it doesn't end there it just keeps going to a full 58 inches by 26 inches wide with these custom dividers so you can adjust your organization to however you see fit they are on these nice big slides these guys hold 500 pounds so you could practically sit in here um they're super solid super smooth and we've had a lot of good good experiences with them and then we have over here our kitchen box that we can take a little deeper depth into so same slides we have here the cooktop which doubles as a sink so you can take this guy put it over here on the end and we have legs that swing out so you have a nice big cooking area with a sink in case you need to do your dishes or whatnot so as you guys can see we have our table top pulled out and it is enormous this guy's 58 inches and it extends past it by a good foot we can close this guy up take a deeper look into our cooking area so you have your sink for cleaning and washing dishes or whatnot nice counter space over here then we can come over to the cooking area where your cooktop would be set and then we have this nice light for when it gets dark it extends up really high really nice and easy and then you have this light which is super bright and it's detachable so you can go hike around with it or walk around your campsite and it just sits up there with some magnets super sturdy it ain't going anywhere you could do all your chopping your cooking and your cleaning here super solid and it's all an enclosed unit this table top here sets right on top of the cooktop box and then it all slides in there seamlessly [Music] cool and behind the cabinet we actually have some more access to some storage you've got a nice little zone for some books or maps we've got this little secret storage cubby and then you also have all of your controls for lights to power the fridge all that good stuff okay guys so that's the majority of the tour but we do have one little hidden gem with the bed um you can see here that we have four cushions all varying sizes and there is a reason for that and here's the reason right here this whole thing pulls into a couch you simply pull up on this and on the other side is a nice lounging couch that you can watch dvds with and stuff so let's go around the front and we'll show you how it works [Music] all right so this customer is going to be on the road for long periods of time so they may or may not need to use the restroom while they're on the road so we decided to throw in this secret little trap door with their very own potty nice and easy to discreetly hide away well one thing i want to go over real quick is kind of how we integrated this build with the existing suburban so you can see here that on the 2013s they have this tension um bar that kind of holds this you know large door up and underneath there's a mechanism that is all spring-loaded and it kind of helps with these um that you know basically these bars that kind of hold up the entire uh hatch door here so we just we kind of integrated the styling so we can keep this whole system in here without kind of like taking it out and just redesign the whole thing so we kind of integrated that as well as on this side i took some of the the hard plastic from the side of the door here and i kind of just carved it and kind of made it into a um trim piece for the back here i also took the 12 volt that was also integrated to the back here and i just integrated on the back so we kind of do that a lot we kind of try to keep the original look of the suburbans that way it kind of looks like it's flawless and it kind of was like built that way from the factory so um yeah let's go around and kind of kind of show you some of the things we kind of did on that [Music] so [Music] my oh hey guys as you can see we have our couch set up we went through many rigorous hours of trying to find the perfect lounge angle and this is what we came up with super comfortable in here with these four inch cushions you have tons of headroom space you have a foot rest uh you have your leds here with your dimmer switch which actually it's time for me to catch a movie so thanks for coming along on this build we'll get we'll see you guys on the next one you
