[Music] hey guys tim here with adventure custom um we just got done building this 1999 suburban and um anyway i want to show you guys the tour and uh give you a look inside so let's check it out first thing we have here is the tire carrier that was um the bumper was built by a move we just welded it together and then we made the tire carrier and um custom fit it to the move bumper so and then we have a little bolt down here that you can kind of see and this kind of spins on and that's what kind of locks into place so let's go and get this tire carried out of the way as you can tell it's been raining today but uh we're still gonna do the video and keep it going so um let's have a look inside so one of the first things you see is um you have this table right here that very easy mechanism becomes a nice sturdy table to uh you know do whatever basically you want to out back here and uh let it down just lift it up push the little things in and put it right down so it's a nice little handy little table to have on the side of your door um the next thing we have here is we have these drawer boxes this one's 56 inches long by six inches deep you also have these trays that kind of change out and go into place wherever you want them to go so it's plenty of storage space plenty of uh of uh area to put anything basically so it's a really handy thing to have underneath the table underneath the bed here um as you can see all the wood was done in cherry wood so we have cherry wood face frames um there's also cherry wood uh ceiling that we'll get to here in a minute and we also on the sides we integrated the old plastic from the truck we integrated it back into the side so it kind of gave it that um look like a factory look like it came off the factory like this from a chevy over here we have a cook top so this basically pulls out has your sink and this is actually a table that we can pull out and underneath the table you have these legs which simply just come out and the legs just kind of go any size that you want them to the table clips into these furniture clips here and then you can just kind of eyeball it and see what size what height you need it and the nice thing about these legs is you kind of adjust the height to whatever you want with just a little spin and there you go you got your uh you got your sink and you also have room for your faucet here which is right here here comes a nice long hose and your faucet just goes right through this hole and that becomes your faucet and everything you need so that just goes into a water jug that you know you fill up whatever your water jug set it below there and you're good to go um this right here is where your cooktop goes there's no quick top in it right now but we do have the light and this is an led light which it gets pretty bright at night lights up the entire area you can see right there and then what you do is you look this uh you lift this light bar up unclick it set it to the desired height that you like and it's magnetic on the back so it just clicks right up there no problem [Music] [Applause] okay so you can see we also have the sides built in here this is out of baltic plywood we have four cubbies basically and these cubbies are uh pretty deep you can put a lot of stuff in there this one particularly has a hidden area that you can put your tools down in there and um you know just put stuff that you don't get to all the time that goes down in there and then the other one is basically the same it just has um an area for the jack so the same thing it's just your jackets right on top here we have these uh bungees and that's kind of just a little storage area as well and then you probably notice that the ceiling is all cherry wood it's hard to see it's a little dark out right now but this is all uh cherry wood and you know it really came out nice just uh contoured it to the existing ceiling lines and stuff and put a little trim piece back here as well so it came out really nice okay so now that you saw the drawers i want to show you the bed um this is a full 48 by 80 inch bed so this sleeps two people very comfortably you're not going to be on top of each other um you have plenty of room to kind of you know move around at night and stuff um this also turns into a couch that's what this rope is for right here so you basically pull up on this from the other side and the whole thing comes into a couch um so let's go ahead and show you that that little option right there string there push it back this also pushes back giving you some room there and then you grab your handy little pin right there line up with the hole push it in and that's that's it then bring your cushion back over and there you go you got a little uh chill space here also lights dimmed down right here with this dimmer so if you want to lighten your face you need to turn it off or turn it barely on and uh that works too so anyway we'll uh keep going show you the rest okay so behind the passenger seat you have this dometic fridge um this thing is really handy to have um you can see there's tons of space and i'll let you go ahead and the nice thing about this fridge is it only runs off about five amps so the jackery can run this thing for quite a while um it's very quiet so you can barely hear this thing um we also have some cables underneath here for instance this is the one that goes to the solar panel so you just plug it into the jackery that'll charge it when the sun's out um and then here's the cable running from to the uh to the switchboard over there so everything's kind of tucked underneath here and you can see that we have this third row um seat right back here sorry the second row seat back here too and uh you can flip that seat up and obviously carry around two more people so this the truck still carries four people in total um and we also have a little cubby on the side here as well just a little extra storage this is a butcher block um type top actually this is birch butcher block with some tung oil on it and you know just a little cabinet it's all uh done in accents of cherry and stuff so kind of matches the ceiling i have a 500 watt jackery as well and we have a storage area for it so this just kind of stows it away and uh keeps it kind of locked into place okay so uh next thing i want to show you is the electrical system a little bit so you can see we have a usb back here that's for this cooktop area that way you can plug in any devices that you need to back here um and then up here we have the old button that was kind of already in the car i just took it off the car and i kind of put it in here this like unlocks the doors so that's kind of handy to have back here at night we also integrated the uh speakers there used to be two speakers up here we took those out and we put the speakers in the side of the uh sidewalls here now which really works great and it looks nice too um let's go over the switch panel i'll show you some of the other electrical there so this is how everything's being powered right now is by this jackery and this is a 1000 watt jackery we have this um cable coming into the 12 volt power source here and that thing runs to this switchboard right here that you can see right here um that's what's powering this whole thing so you have your cabin lights which are right there you've got your main lights right there and those are on a dimmer actually as well and then this also powers the stereo the fridge and the fan as well as you have your um 12 you know usb um 12 volt in the door so i had 12 volt power right there too so the whole thing kind of works right from there and the solar panel is up here and the fan and all that kind of powers the jackery as well as you can plug it into the 12-volt area into the front seat of the car too so that's kind of how the whole power system works right there just taking a little test drive right now and listening for any noises that may have happened um so far everything sounds really solid back there very tight so i'm really happy with it so anyway we're gonna take it to the car wash and uh get a detail to get the inside cleaned up and washed up [Music] my you
