- [Wife] So here it is. This is our new home. I just, I'm a bit lost for words,
really. I can't believe it. Morning everyone. It is two weeks after
our wedding. So we had, Will's brother's wedding last weekend. Our wedding the
weekend before and Will? Oh no not Will. And today we are moving house. So we are
leaving the farm. It's been a really busy time, but we're really looking forward to it. So
I realised I never gave you a house tour, but I can give you one now because we
are moving, very, very excited to move. Everything's being packed up. I'll miss my
carpeted bathroom. So we've got the movers in today. They came and did all the packing
yesterday and it was, it was amazing. I've never had help moving before, 'cause we've never gone so
far. This is what I'm going to be living out of, I've got my crossword puzzle book. Look, our
beautiful bed's going to be coming with us as well. Here's my studio. All, ready to go.
My paper rolls that I use as a background. It's a big, big day. Got the lorry's out
there ready. Alfonso just keeps trying to get in them. Hello, we are on our
way. How are you feeling Will?
- I'm fine, and you? We're not far now.
- We're not far but we're so squished. So we've got Alfonso, here. Can you see him?
He's actually sleeping. He's been really good. And then we've got Diego. Bless him. It has
been such a squeeze. We are in dire need of a car that actually fits our animals,
but yeah, we might have to wait awhile. So, we are getting that from one o'clock, we're
meeting our buying agent who is handing over the keys, and then we've got the BT internet engineer
coming over to fit the internet immediately. It should've been done last week, but in
true BT style, they messed up multiple times. Anyway, wish us luck. We are going to need
it today. It's going to be a long day. I don't know if you can see, but he's peacefully
sleeping. He was not happy about being in his carrier. But he's done really well. We're here.
- [Will] We are.
- [Wife] I cannot believe we all came in that
Mini, it's mental. Okay, we're gonna give you just a quick tour. The full shebang will be at a
later date, but we have moved to the Cotswolds, which is very exciting. Look at you!
- We're moved off the farm.
- Yeah, we've left the farm. So this is the
coach house and this is where our office will be. And it's got a bedroom upstairs and a
kitchen. And here we've got the potting shed, which I don't really know what we'll put in there,
pots? And then here, here is the main house. It's a big stone building. we just fell in love with
it, when we found it. I love this patio area we've got down here. Sure, we'll be able to make that
really, really cosy. Yeah, we're just very much in love with it. And we had something really amazing
happen. The sellers, that sold us this property, didn't want any of their furniture and they have
beautiful furniture. So we agreed on this price, and bought the house fully furnished, which is
amazing because we don't have much furniture. So we don't feel that pressure to
suddenly buy a lot of furniture to fill the house. Instead we can swap it out bit by
bit. And we've got some lovely pieces as well. I like this little corner. This will be gorgeous
in summer evenings. And I do need to get some fencing in because Diego can't safely explore the
garden yet. So here it is, this is our new home. I just, I'm a bit lost for words
really? I can't believe it. I just can't believe this. I felt really
emotional in the car on the way here. I feel so lucky. Okay, so I'm
going to give you a little tour of the empty, well empty before we put our
things in it, house. Hello, lovely dog. Oh, that was louder than I thought. So here
we have the kitchen. This is called an auger. And it's a special kind of oven.
It's, this one's powered by oil, which not ideal, but it's okay. I grew up with one of
these. My mum cooked on one of these. So basically you have a hot plate. This all needs
a really good clean by the way, a hot plate and a slightly cooler plate. And
you have two, a hot oven and a cooler oven. A nice view of the garden. I've always wanted
a sink with a view, I can see Diego playing. We've got this fridge. We are going to try
and sell this. There's a couple of things that we're going to sell. Because we need to
put in a bigger fridge, 'cause more mouths, really. This is the dining room at
the moment, but we're going to make it our living room. So again, I've got nice views.
This is our lovely stone fireplace, I can't wait. And they left this table, and these chairs and I
absolutely love it. It was covered in a cloth when we agreed to buy it. 'Cause I just thought, yeah,
we need a table, that's fine. But yeah, lovely. And I can't believe it. We've already got some
new home cards. People already had our address. And I think I'm one of these spots is
where we're going to put Diego's portrait. Okay, we've got the utility room in there, but
I'm going to leave it for the minute because we've left Alfonso in there to kind of find his
feet, he was quite nervous after travelling. Not sure about that. In here, we
have got storage, but my big dream, which won't happen for a while, is to change this
into a sort of pantry. So we'll see, we'll see if we can do that. I'm not sure what's going to be
possible. Here is quite a big feature of this house. The big Queen Anne staircase. So it's a
quite compact house, but it's over three stories. That goes out behind the potting shed. Oh no,
it doesn't. That goes behind the utility room. Then we go up to what is currently the
sitting- Yeah, the sitting room, but we're going to make it the dining room, because
we prefer the downstairs one, that this is, we're going to make this our dining room because
we think we'll use this room less frequently. Currently got a red velvet sofa.
We've just had our internet put in. I absolutely love these chairs that they left us, and everywhere needs a bit of a paint, but I think
it's going to be- Oh, are these the moving people. Oh, I've just, I've just seen the moving
people. Will, the moving people are here.
- [Will] Yeah, I've just seen them.
- [Wife] I love these chairs. I'm so happy that they sold
them to us. Then we've got a spare bedroom here, with a very interesting, seemingly antique
bed. So I wonder what we'll do with that, but whoever's going to sleep there, has
got the nice view of the countryside. We've got this lovely mirror here
and this interesting painting. And up the stairs again. It gets
all moody, ready for bed here. Not sure if you can see this quite nice window
and curtains here, it's quite dark actually. And this is our bedroom. So we've got a chest of
drawers, which I think is really beautiful here. The bed, the bedroom, you can see,
it's like a, an attic style room, with lovely views from the bed. I don't know
if you can see. Lovely views from the bed. So we're gonna swap this out
with our bed. It's very similar. And then, oh, that's lovely. And then, this
is quite interesting feature. Two bathtubs. And no shower. So we might have to swap one of
those out for shower, but you can have a lovely bath with a view again. And I really liked
this thing that they left with the marble. Oh wow. A whole big thing of body wash.
Thanks guys. Oh, the previous owners, or the people who sold it, the sellers, the
sellers left this bottle of champagne for us.
- So it'd be rude not to open it.
- [Wife] Yeah. That's so lovely. They actually were really, really nice to us. Yeah,
we really appreciate everything they did. Diego, you're not getting any, we've actually
just had an emergency trip to the vets, which was not what we were planning to
do today. But Diego kept shaking his head as if he'd got something in his ear. And
we were really worried it was a grass seed. So he's had some ear drops and we're
gonna see how you go, aren't we? Things are starting to come together.
The barbecue needs a clean. But I've got my olive tree here. All of
the other trees have come with us and they are just waiting over by the coach
house. That's the small parts of the, that's the annex building. All of the trees are
out there. And I think I'm actually gonna plant some, the fig and the cherry in the garden
here, which is very, very exciting. Oh, look, Alfonso's not happy. Sorry Alfonso, you
can't come out for like two weeks, I think, five days or two weeks? Oh, you're ready. Okay.
- Do you want the whole shebang or do you want uh-
- [Wife] Go on then, go on. Whew! Go on, get it Diego. You got it? Good boy. Oh, how lovely. We're just so happy to
be here, finally. I can't believe it. And doing normal life things, like
going to the vets. Thank you.
- Cheers.
- [Wife] Cheers! To new beginnings. Morning, everyone. It's our second day, or is
it our third? Our third day of being here and everything's still in boxes. And today I have
a photo shoot. Timing could be better, but it's a campaign with YouTube. Hopefully you'll
see it. I don't know really how it's gonna work, but I was happy to be involved when they asked me,
but I did say guys, I'm moving. So things will be in boxes. And they said, that's not too much of a
problem, but they want to capture me working. So I'm gonna set up all my camera stuff. And I've
got a filming day on Tuesday anyway. So yes, just done. I've just tried to do my hair and
makeup, but my skin, I don't know what happened. Well, I do know what happened. I've upped my
strength of retinol and it's been like peeling off in patches. I don't know if you can see it, but
it's like the top layer of skin is basically coming off. So I hope they don't mind about
that. Oh my God. We have so much clearing to do in here. I'm so embarrassed having people
around. So this is the annex at the moment, this is going to be our studio and where we work
upstairs. There's a bedroom where people can stay. Oh yeah, we tried to set it up a little bit last
night. I just need to get the cameras out of the boxes. Lots of people have been asking about
our trees. Don't worry, they all came with me, but where I'm having to cook, in the coach house
at the moment, because we've got that really specific oven that I showed you. Well it doesn't
work at the moment. We've got a service guy coming over soon. So instead it's all very twee. I have
to bring a basket of everything I want to cook, into the coach house oven. This
is a gas oven, which I'm really not used to. So I'm getting used to it. I've
just heated it up. Yeah, it feels hot. All good. Whew it smells quite chemically. So I'm doing my
standard favourite. Will made steaks yesterday. They were really good. I've got some parsley that
I've grown. I've got a cheeky glass, in case I want to quick glass of wine. Unfortunately,
Will, and I have been really ill recently, it's not been COVID. And I've got the ingredients
for salmon and everything in there. But yeah, we've been ill. It's not COVID, it's like a,
a cold. My parents have got it as well. Will's really ill today. He got better and then he was in
again. So it's just so annoying. 'Cause we've got boxes everywhere and we wanted to get started,
move trees, get everything in order. And we can't, because we just got no energy. But yeah, I think
it's just so funny that I have to come over here to cook in the evenings. There's no dishwasher
here, so then I bring everything dirty back into the main house. It's so funny. I'm happy
doing it though. I just wish I felt healthier. Oh, annoying, I always forget one thing and
today I have forgotten a chopping board. But you know what? I just can't be
bothered to go all the way back over there. So I'm going to chop it in here instead and we
should be fine. Oh, my word, this oven takes so much longer than our, than our old one. I think
I might've put it on the wrong setting. In fact, I know I did. I don't know why I'm hiding that. I
put it on grill at first. Okay, exciting, ignore the mess of the studio. We've got a lot to unpack,
but I have started my first filming session here. So if you see it on my channel, I don't know which
is gonna come out with first, actually. It is a, it is an accent video, quite exciting, where we're
going through lots of different accents, and I did a survey and you will rank them from easiest to
hardest. And then we've got one more video to do. And then we have been invited by some neighbours,
to a dinner party, very, very exciting. I didn't expect everyone to be so welcoming. So we're gonna
be on our best behaviour. Make sure that we don't humiliate ourselves, because then we'll
never be invited back. But no, I'm really looking forward to meeting other people in this
village. We've met a couple of couples so far, and everyone so far has been really, really
nice. So I'm very happy and proud to be a part of the village. Oh Diego. So we've got something
exciting happening. We haven't ever had a fire. Yeah, we didn't have one in-
- [Will] No, in our last place.
- [Wife] No, we didn't, no. We've never had one.
So we've just come back from a lovely Sunday roast and we've got load of wood from the garage
and we're going to try and light it.
- I'm not sure they used it much.
- [Wife] No, the previous people who lived here had children and they used it as a holiday
property. So they didn't want to light it. They said it's quite a difficult colour, 'cause
you have to keep cleaning it, as you can see, By the way, this house has not been cleaned at
all since we've been here or by the previous tenants. So we're having a clean soon. So you
can't judge us for being dirty for now. Oh, so this is magnetic. What do you think Diego?
Will you find it? Diego. Diego? He's ignoring me. Diego, is it gonna be too hot for you? Look who
I found. He's getting used to his surroundings. He hasn't been out at all. 'Cause we're
trying to get him to treat this as home, but we've been playing with him
quite a lot to keep him entertained. He's very quick. So we've put in all the
paper, I say we, Will put all on the paper and then we're just laying over kindling. Anyone
who has a fire is probably looking at this thinking, noobs, but we are noobs!
- Yeah or doing it wrong.
- [Wife] Doing it wrong. No, but it's
exciting to do it for the first time. But yes, if you do have any tips, some polite
constructive criticism is always welcome.
- It's not welcome.
- [Wife] It is welcome!
- It's not welcome, everyone
does it their own way.
- [Wife] Please give it to us. How cosy
I am so excited for winter actually.
