and we're rolling all right what's up everybody welcome back to another video i'm tucker i'm sammy j and sammy j's behind the camera um but yeah welcome to our youtube channel today we are starting a project that i've been manifesting in my mind for a couple months quite a few months now uh so right behind me you can see this vintage terry taurus trailer and a whole bunch of other junk and first look it just looks like a whole bunch of junk but looks can be deceiving because we are going to be transforming this trailer into a studio so that we can do some kind of a podcast slash storytelling series um it's basically going to be a podcast studio we want to get people in there who have interesting stories to tell us and then we can talk back and forth we're gonna get all these mics and we're gonna set it all up really cool but i just wanted to give you guys a walk through before we do anything of what we got going on here so we just basically completed our back deck project and it turned out really really really good so it gave me the inspiration to think that we could actually turn this trailer into what i see in my mind which i think is pretty possible so this trailer was bought off of facebook marketplace for 250 bucks it was a living trailer like a trailer basically that you could live in but it had some leaks in the roof so we tore everything out of it and now it's basically gutted and this car all that scrap is going to go to the scrap yard the bikes that bike is going to be sold that bike hopefully sold this is a nice bike but this car is going to be moved over as far as it can that way so that we can have room here and all the rest of the trash well it's mostly scrap but anything else that's just sitting around is going to be cleaned up and thrown away donated or scrapped and then this eventually is going to be like a deck that sits like this high like a like a big desk and this is going to have a flower little thing with fake flowers in it and then a palm tree on here painted this is just what i'm imagining and then like an area for people to hang out and then this is going to be a studio inside so i hope it's not too tight in there i guess come around this side and we'll go in so you are now entering the strange occupations podcast studio that's what it'll say in the front somewhere if you can get in there wow it is officially the bodyboard lock the door it was locked like this little thing was locked on there but i don't know i didn't really want to take the screen door off because it seems like it's pretty intricate so i just left it so far we haven't done that much to it but past this window so i'm going to leave the these windows and all the windows this way open so that their light can come in and whatnot well we're going to do this as a as a group thing over the next couple weeks hopefully we can do it faster than the caddie because that took forever but all this is going to be busted out so get rid of all this bunk beds and all this stuff this wall and this is going to have a raised up area for two people to sit like back on the back wall and then down here is gonna be this couch is it really tight it's a super tight shot but so like when you're talking it's so focused on you but when you talk about specific things it's still blurred and to be able to have it all in focus you kind of have to get super super close but keep going i think i guess just film me and i'll just talk okay so we did bought this carpet from a bull uh um skating rink that went out of business and that carpeting is gonna be running across the whole floor up and across and then the back wall is gonna be painted and and this from here where the windows end to that way is going to be sealed off with plywood and painted and then we're going to set the camera somewhere around this area pointing that way with at least four mics and four seats so that me and sammy can sit and talk with at least two people one to two people maybe more and the idea behind it is to tell real life stories and to tell people stories that didn't have a chance anywhere else to tell their stories um we want to do real people real stories we don't want to get into too much of like oh let's get this special guest on here because he's famous or because he's relevant i really want to just get people on there that nobody knows and to tell their unique stories and experiences in life that nobody knows so i'm really really excited about this project i don't know if it's coming off because we've been doing so much in the past week that i am a little bit drained and getting right into this project is going to be gnarly but we want to just keep going we want to keep pushing so first step clearing everything out of here breaking down the back wall and then putting down the the plywood on the walls and the rug and then from there it shouldn't be that hard oh my god i can't so when we first brought this trailer here what did you think about the idea of bringing it here all right so this is going to be like a dual uh project where clearly i have my ideas and the people that i want to interview and stuff how do you see the podcast going uh based off of what you you're thinking of because we're both going to be the two major people creating it i like real stories like real life people that are relatable i mean i guess i just like i've never um really listened to a podcast before like how people have like their favorite podcast that they listen to all the time on their breaks at work during work whatever but i just want not your typical average socially accepted person or people to be on the podcast how do you see the build out god that's what i was more like concerned about because it's like one thing at a time honey one thing at a time um i know that we're capable of making this really really nice like i know we are but it's gonna be a lot but that's something that we both like to do so it'll be fun we're a little busy lately so it's like hard to even think about so maybe you should come back to me why not you know we don't have so much other stuff going on i want to have my list ready like step one step two for podcast build out yeah i mean so we're getting preparation for uh my brother's wedding which is on saturday today is thursday but it's not just like a show up do the wedding and leave type of thing it's i'm in the wedding so we're going tomorrow to the rehearsal dinner um we're going to be there the whole day of the wedding into the next morning so it's about two and a half full days of wedding celebrations which is awesome but it's also um a lot at the same time i've met i haven't worn a tux in years um i haven't even put it on yet sammy j's never been to a wedding before and i've never seen him in like a full talks talks like a full you know men's warehouse talk so this should be exciting and we're also in the process of editing another long video that's going to take a lot of time and trying to clean this out and we just packaged up all the deliveries uh from our online store that we have to ship out today so we're trying to continuously update everyone as we should on everything that we got going on or plan to have going on at the same time actually physically doing this stuff yeah so because like we don't like the videos that we put out it doesn't show everything else that we do in our life which is a lot more than a normal person to be honest so you know i just had to add that in there i did want to say basing off of that too uh we got sammy has no idea about it but we got this crazy email um i'm not going to mention the the wording of the email or the person's name because they probably suffer from some kind of mental health and i can't judge that person because i don't even know what they look like but it was very harsh and it was just an unrealistic standard that people hold us to we are human beings and i will just say that we have so much going on and i will offer the challenge to anyone if you are capable of uploading three to five videos that are a half hour to an hour long and well edited for five years straight and also be successful at it on youtube i'm offering this challenge to anybody watching i want to see somebody who doubts what we're doing and doubts our hard work to do that and then come back around and tell us how much of failures we are this is a passion we're human issues like we are human so like well i'm not saying like i'm so much better that i was able to do something like this because i'm not what did the email say that we're mismanaged and that we should take down our whole uh merchandise site because i haven't answered the guy mismanaged and uh you try managing me that's what it's hard and try managing him and then he said he's unsubscribing because we're pathetic um but i know that you didn't unsubscribe and the wording of the email was just shared a little bit so i'm challenging directly you to upload three to five hour long videos a week for five years straight on youtube accumulate a hundred and we're at 118 000 subscribers do it successfully and i'm not even saying do everything else that goes around it just do that come back around and tell me how pathetic we are i just want to see somebody who thinks that way do do that honestly i'm just so busy at the moment that i don't even care i don't even care either i just think it's funny that like people think doing people think in some crazy reality that doing youtube videos isn't a full-time job oh no it's uh it's more work in a nine-to-five job i've worked uh over well over 25 nine to five jobs in my life i'm 30. i've worked nine to fives for years and nothing nothing compares to what we do and i don't have to explain myself i already know that i'm just for anybody who's wondering it's your whole life your whole being is this um technology is becoming really really like a what's the word it's just like the core of everything our whole world everything we do so i don't really know what the point of that was but it's hard this is way harder than any nine to five job that i've ever had period and like just try it try it and try to make a living off of it i'm not saying like just like make some videos when you have your nine to five on the side or that being your main thing and then youtube on the side i'm saying make a living on youtube you have no other means of making money even though we do because we do a lot but boy i'm pms and you're getting me all riled up i gotta go clean some these are cool though we should keep these right um they're there because you wanted to keep i'm a big time hoarder if you guys didn't notice but what i was gonna say is there a statistic that came out recently there's 50 million content creators online around and 0.1 of that number has actually figured out how to make a living off of it so we're in that point one percent and i feel pretty good i feel really good about that i think that sharing our lives and things that are meaningful to us in a real way and being successful at it has been the greatest gift i've been given in my life and it's part of the reason why i want to create this with sammy and i know that she doesn't have crazy ideas about the people she wants on or the conversations that are going to happen in this trailer until it starts happening but i know that her dialogue and her life story and life experience is going to come in really clutch with the people we interview and the stories that are told in this trailer and it's another way for us to just create more content for everybody who enjoys watching our channels uh multiple channels um and for people like you know get bob morley in there or you know if the lawnmower man would ever go in there on on a video chat i don't know if he would but uh just sit down with people and just talk and share stories and share life experiences but um i'm really excited about this and i think moving forward it could be something that could help us financially as well as spiritually and it's just a really cool thing to do so the first step is going to have to be doing all this scrap and putting it in the trailer and then i'm going to move the car over so and clear it out so this is going to be a long process but this looks so crazy i can do a cartwheel if you want yeah go ahead you think i'm good at them um come on baby don't break your back look mj and the crowd goes wild look at him there we go [Music] all right first step to the construction um is not even part of the construction it's just loading up all this scrap and then taking that to the scrap yard at some point so all this everything here is going to get loaded into the trailer [Music] so we're getting this one cleaned up pretty easily here all the scrap but i did want to say that um all the things that we do film are things that we actually like and we never started off thinking that we're gonna primarily make video for a lot of our income so we just started doing videos of things that we enjoyed and the best part about youtube is obviously a lot of other people enjoy the same kind of things we like and that's why they watch our videos so it's like you can relate to so many people all over the world just from filming a video of something that you enjoy doing i think that's pretty cool [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right we cleaned most of the scrap is in here that's going to the scrap yard there's a bunch of like higher valued scrap right here which is the non-first copper aluminum brass some batteries and motors in there so actually a lot of this will make some money off of this load and then we can use that towards whatever repairs and stuff maybe we need to get something for the trailer build probably a can of paint for the back wall and maybe some screws not sure but we'll use you know we can put that money back into something that we're trying to do here but i'm debating so this guy caught all his trees down on the other side of the so the neighbor behind us cut all these trees down in his backyard see em all so that's been like a crazy project that he's been doing and all the sawdust was actually like all blowing into the yard you can see it all on the ground this is sawdust from the trees that he was cutting down and it went so far some of it that it went actually into the catio like it went through there crazy we actually have to make it to the post office before they close so we're gonna ride out now i almost forgot about that [Music] it's going down [Music] it's going down damn i didn't think that was gonna work so smoothly you want him in the two of them backpack to get a ups though because i messed up i know it's it i feel like they changed it on there that's what i was asking like they give you they automatically yeah it's lower for ups but then it's like well for us our house is closer to the u.s postal service it's just like ups another whole trip had to keep the fanny pack on huh yeah we're going to the post office don't you think we should film it oh yeah i do i was just liking the lighting out here the lighting be honest the lighting is really really good like this is the crispest fall lighting i've seen in a while all right so we're gonna drop these packages off and then finish up the preparations that we need to do for the sweating so it's exciting but it's also exhausting so we'll see you guys in the next one all right let's test this mic out what's good check one check two check three all right so we are at cami's house aka turner's mom and she had asked us yesterday if we would help her move furniture i'm assuming it's for the thanksgiving get-together that she's planning so we couldn't do it last night we're here today we have a new mic that we're trying out with my iphone 13 and we're hoping that it goes well all right let's remove some furniture trying out our new mic what are you talking about here i'm making eggs for the doggies the eggs and then i decided to make an egg for myself i mean they said november 10th but i'm sure they're fine all right all right explain the current situation the current situation is i was going to rearrange this whole living room for thanksgiving but you know what i just decided that we can just move that table i can just move that table over we can just eat at that table but here's what i want to know can we move this over here and get the freaking towels that are under it and get it back balanced do you guys think that do you see them think it's okay like this if i keep it like this how it is now yeah because i was going to do some crazy operation where i moved this over there or i move this over there and put the couch in front of it but i feel like if you move that over here just keep it there i had it over there before but i think it's fine here ben made a comment about it being in front of the bookshelf that's the only thing that makes it weird is that somebody who's not used to the board it's in flight on the bookshelves well i guess he should be used to it right but yeah it would probably bother me i'm not gonna do it today but that's what i was thinking like before you guys came over i was like well we'll put the case here and then i was actually going to try to move this couch back here but then what did i do with this thing because this couch is cool there because then you put the coffee table and it seems big and open but what does rob deardick think about your bookshelf oh gosh he doesn't like it he's making fun of it why would he make fun of people who have books on the show look at all these books i guess he doesn't read yeah a lot of people in this day and age don't read mama reads couch but the cats love that couch they're under the window so then you gotta just leave this look at zinnia because sits in this basket every time jenny is right there in the basket and uh wawa lays on that pillow 24 7. what do you keep in your bookshelf what do you mean books all the kids books from when you guys were little all my books on architecture and decorating all my books on landscaping and all my books like about like what life's about joseph campbell waldorf education everything you could need so primarily things that have to deal with in cult following zoo no wow zoo christianity both of those sound like cults no he's not he's going he's going to the vet too to get checked because this cat just is a big puking machine and i'm just having i gave him a serenity because i have it and then he puked four minutes later but i just want her to feel them just what about this other shelf here yeah what about it what is in it what's the big deal here this is my bobble head collection that i started 26 years ago right before i adopted jay i saw one of these in a store wait which one's my first one it's that one right there that's my first one this was in mary marv's museum and store for three dollars and fifty cents and i thought oh this thing's kind of cool i bought it and the next thing i know everywhere i went i bought them and then g made this for me when she was in high school in woodwork how nice is this one she should have gone into the business of it actually so most of these are bobble heads but some that's a kakishi that's a kakishi and on the mantle kakishi and one bobblehead and then this is my christmas collection which is actually super cool this was from sears and roebuck to put under the christmas tree in the like 30s these are the puts houses that i've been collecting for like 30 years this is the sleigh that rob bought me for christmas and then my sister bought me that one my teddy bear from when i was a little girl was in that sleigh and turner and sammy bought me these right here and i've been collecting these little guys i've had this little guy right here and this guy this guy i've had since i was maybe right before i even knew rounds like we're talking i've had that guy for 30 or 40 years like long 40 years i think this little guy so maybe that was the first this is the first um one of these little guys i ever had i've had it since i was a young woman turner got gave me this should we get to moving this furniture here yeah cause june has an appointment i heard she's trying to get crazy with me right she's getting her nails done hit the ground see if she'll do i hit it pretty hard look at you i was trying to chase her but she wasn't having it all right we're on a heavy mission right now so we just helped my mom move some furniture but it wasn't really that extensive and we saw her collection of bobble heads hope you guys enjoyed that and so we got in contact with this guy from new york and he they own like furniture stores use furniture stores over there but he comes down here to buy stuff because it's just sometimes better uh but he got a flat tire destination is on the right and couldn't make it down here so he asked if we could pick up is this the guy i guess 19 no it's that's 15. pick up two couches and he he basically just pays us to store him for the day and then he's going to come get them tomorrow pick them up store them um so yeah here we are and it's always funny in this business the connections that you make and just the interesting people that you get to meet so probably another interesting person that we're getting the couches from so here we go let's do this right what do you think they're going to be like in there just from it uh from the picture that was on the phone with the records on there was records on the wall i don't like platinum records right i don't know this looks really like nice i was just hoping that the uh that these were light these couches i'm hoping i was thinking like what are you thinking about brother like this is a wild ride [Music] you think he could have done this by himself i don't i don't know that he could have ever done this oh yeah helpers we're the uh people that are getting the couches yeah are they heavy is what we were wondering right they are heavy they are heavy not really well you'll see okay should i take my shoes off oh yeah do you want us to take our shoe you're fine are you sure yeah my cleaning like it's going tomorrow that's why i'm so happy that you're going to get them today all right then you can blame it on us so she's like ah it's dirtier than usual oh these these are fine oh we can what are you a record producer my ex-husband and mother will say i'm the driver here on that and today they used to be all like um like the malls and they had a couple big stores like 22 big stores so they're they've been there for a long time yeah they're cool huh very cool aren't they they are cool my husband at the house accident yes we lived up he has like picture discs with record vinyls you know yeah i didn't make them anymore that's actually cool though the this was the platinum one everybody you can have that pillow and that throw if you want it i don't know if you want it i'll give it to my kids i don't know how you use it with the sofa but you can't have those two pillows where did these come from these are cool couches these are very cool and i'm getting new ones my decorator got them and um i got everything new my whole kitchen i really did and everything is just you're not going oh they're not that heavy because it's very open yeah they say when i built the house they close this wall up all right so these are the couches and they're super super cool really really cool design she said they were custom made and they had them for like 15 years and they're in really good condition and super comfortable so he scored he only paid 150 for both i think that's a really good deal well you have to need to have to have a need for them as well you want to get up there just like you guys are i was so nervous yeah they should redo that it's nice all right successful mission see ya she was cool which is very nice we got them loaded up now back to the house yes dreamers [Music] all right back to the house it's actually getting cold out here in new jersey anyway but the moon looks really full as well and it gets dark at like 4 30 now around so it's a little bit different from the summer season and i feel like it's hard to adjust to because i always want to just keep going and doing stuff until like eight at night but it's just dark out and cold out so it's hard to push through but uh we got the couches back here we've got the couches back here and i guess we're going to put them in the garage because i don't know if the guy's going to come tomorrow or whenever basically uh if it takes a few days for him to get them uh we already got paid for picking them up and all we have to do is just put them in his van so that's not bad it's a good relationship [Music] [Music] and would you look at that look what just showed up here wait till you guys see this this is epic yo yeah where are you at we just got the package do you want to say it yes the magazine that we were in let's go on the deck right yeah what's the general temperature outside today all right we got the package this is official now guys it's official so this is we're going to open it up so you guys can see it but this is a big deal for us personally um it was the first time we've been printed as photographs in an actual magazine before and it's a two s two page spread interview with two photographs and we're really really stoked about it so we're gonna open it up and show you guys um this is a big deal for us i mean it doesn't seem that big of a deal probably but it is so let's do it should i set the camera here uh i can move this and we could or you could just open it i'll just hold this or we could literally just put it right here yeah all right let's do this so we got the baby we actually put the camera on a little bit of a wider setting but we're going to open this thing up i'm like so excited to see this have you seen it at all i haven't seen it online or anything oh because they have a digital copy i just wanted to see it yeah physically in person is a better feel for me do you see this right now [Music] everybody's out here with us look at this so we ordered a bunch obviously so we could have one to frame and then gotta give one to the boy i think he gave us extra stuff too we're gonna give one to uh ryan mack who is our friend who is the one who took the pictures that are in here all right so they also have various uh covers the stickers and some stickers like the stickies and then let's do this these look so cool okay so it also says look at those so that magazine is overtime hustling magazine you can order them on their site um but here we go so this is it the cover and it has like the featured artist but then it says here also in this issue tuck and sammy j no way yeah no way yeah so we go and then we open it up to the first page and say on 18 it says tuck and sammy j interview by lester 21k skinner photography by ryan mack wow so they gave him props that's actually really really cool wow dude simpson stone simpson stuff so they got like the spotlight stuff like the featured artists and then other people obviously that have been in the magazine before they got i don't know what that is but it's like a fight club type of thing and then look at that no way wow no way yeah that's so cool so the double interview and it just says tuck and sammy j and then it has all the questions that he asked us printed out and two photographs side by side i kind of yeah so we got most magazines for us and then uh one for ryan won the frame and then maybe one i'll just give to my parents so they can check it out and read it this is so cool yeah stoked there's a first for everything hold on hold on for me yeah cause you've been in them you haven't you not like that not like this like this is your own personal baby this is very very cool shout out to overtime hustling for including us in this and even wanting to that uh makes us feel really special and a part of which is important in life all right i'm not gonna read off the whole thing just in case you guys want to go check it out i'll put a link to how you can see it in the description but it just said any shout outs or comments and then we put shout out to virtual the graffiti artist who actually did the shirt i'm wearing because he's the one who found that we found out about the magazine and then we did also a heavy shout out to paul the godfather of our cats uh shout out to our kids aka our cats mj vero king quo landis and lucky girl right you heard that railroad that might be a hidden talent reading upside down i did good there yeah right here so hold it up [Music] wow big time article for the babies this is sick i'm gonna put this on the coffee table that's right damn sure but uh we also just wanted to say that everything that we are working towards and everything that we care about is fueled entirely by the people that watch our youtube channel at this point and we owe so much to like-minded people that love our videos and watch them and comment on them and give us likes and send us stuff send us messages and emails and it's created an insane world that wouldn't have existed unless we started this adventure years ago and we just plan with this is so much our passion um that we plan [Music] almost just knocked over the whole traffic light and just could have died good girl bro it's a good girl that's some reflexes you quit like a panther but yeah i just wanted to say a huge shout out to everybody who has ever supported us in any way um and there's just so many people all over the world so we would love to give give you guys a thank you right now so thank you all thank you guys so much it really means a lot to us because i was just telling turner today like it's weird because i feel like when people who we meet that watch our our youtube channel when we meet them in person it's like uh they greet us so kindly and like as if they know us and i feel like a lot of people hold us like on a certain pedestal and i was telling him like i don't see myself personally as anything like especially we're just normal people trying to motivate and and give people hope like to keep pushing because no matter where you're at in life and what level whatever you want to call it everybody struggles with you know internal things and life in general because life is hard it's really really hard um and i think it's just important for all of us to remember that everybody struggles with their own personal things so to be kind to people no matter what is extremely important to both of us and obviously you fall off sometimes and you know you're not your best person um but it's okay we're all human so you just deal with stuff you move forward and that's the process of life so thank you guys we really appreciate it i'm pmsing so i'm not gonna cry i'll try not to but i really do mean that from the bottom of my heart um and yeah so we appreciate you guys so thank you i'm gonna go fold some laundry now i'm gonna drop the mic drop the mic yeah cause you just do it i mean it so go do let me go do uh wifey things you know [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign
