WE GOT A PUPPY! | MEET NELLY

so today is a very very very exciting day isn't it joe it's very exciting we're picking up our puppy which has been like a really kept secret for so long because i wanted to tell you guys but i was like no i'm just gonna wait until we do like the big reveal vlog so we're gonna go and pick up nelly today that's what we've named her and she's a miniature dax hound of course because they're my faves so yes it's very big step for joan joe and sarah we're going to be dog parents but we're excited aren't we the next chapter yeah we're very excited we got like so funny so her dog stuff started to turn up and it's really funny seeing like dog things in the house it's exciting though so we've got a few little bits that start to arrive we've got other bits on the way um i was honestly we we've watched so many so many videos on like dog training and like just everything we've been like crazy dog people we feel like we're quite clued up now doing our research yeah ready to have an epic dog i'm also very excited to see joe with a miniature dax house it's gonna be funny oh but you love you loved sadie and you love minty they are my family dogs and if you guys have seen any of my other vlogs you'll know that they are sausage dogs hilarious well they sadie sadly passed away this year but minty's still minty's still going strong she's four so she's she's got ages she's got ages um but yeah so so um minty so nelly's gonna have a cousin straight away so that's nice um but yeah we are very excited we've been being sent loads of photos along the way from the breeder and she is pretty special feels like it's been a long time waiting now i know well it has been it's been like seven weeks something like that here we go so yeah so obviously we're gonna take you guys with us up early gonna head off to pick her up and then start a new chapter of our lives wow so we're about 10 minutes away from nelly 10 minutes so close i'm starting to get apprehensive though like well not a sad princess the word i want to use like a bit nervous just because i just feel like it's so savage when you pick a puppy up like you just pick them up and you just take them away from their mum and their brothers and sisters and then they just never never see them again i mean she's gonna have a great life don't get me wrong she's you know that's fine but i remember we picked minty up and took her um home she like just kind of cried the whole way in the car and then she weed on me and it was all it's all quite stressful so i just have like ptsd from there and i just i don't know i guess i feel bad but that's just how it's how you get a puppy that's how it works just how it works well i can't take them all unfortunately no but i wish we could you should see you should have seen her brothers and sisters there was like seven of them in the litter and they were all like different colors and different patterns i really wanted them all joe said though one at a time there we go here we go say hello world oh look at her little face hello you're sleeping she started to make little crying noises and i honestly come on she's kept we've swaddled her up in her little blanket yeah she's so cute she is gorgeous she's so cute she's amazing she's absolutely amazing she's so small she's so small i want to cry oh plessa her owners were like she was the last one to go so they're feeling very emotional yeah they were quite emotional they got quite attached how could you not so now we've got the long ride back to london the little nelly her pee pad so she needs to go for go to the toilet on the ride okay cheers great she stays like this yeah until she gets the new home yeah we've swapped over so that joe can have some cuddles on the way home we tried to stop off for a wee twice haven't we but nellie's decided she doesn't want to go she just gets really she's holding it at the moment he's just holding it in yeah it's cold outside it is cold outside isn't it you can keep falling asleep little sleepy puppy like we've brought a newborn home from from the hospital hello you have a little look around this is sarah's wardrobe it's my wardrobe [Music] all the bags what do you think you like them are you going to be a fashionable dog it doesn't look too sure no okay like it says jewelry i think she wants to go upstairs come on then oh this is our bedroom bedroom can i see it wanna see yeah okay what do you think it's on the floor so it's easy for you for now yeah we don't have a bed bed yet so we just have this so does that excite you it's very relaxed very relaxed upstairs is where you're gonna be she looks so worried don't be worried it's okay it's okay oh my god little face what do you think i've also got this from amazon which is really cute so there's my stuff on it i've got a few little puppy toys in there and then a big fluffy bed which hopefully she's gonna like it's very very big for you that's huge for her she looks comfortable already you do look very comfortable i think you should go for a wee though you didn't we the whole ride here so she really hasn't done much we've literally just come in and now she's fast asleep and i think she's dreaming because her eyes are twitching i feel like we're just gonna sit here on the couch all afternoon and stare at her what's happening she's very sleepy this is very cute and she's dreaming hey nelly is she trying to eat the rugs she wants to know i think she's eating the rug natalie this frog's new nelly that's hilarious nelly you've literally just woken up let's not eat the rug shall we don't be that hungry that's another food clearly not the rug hello you're gonna come around say hello we really want to start training her to pee outside so we don't really want to use puppy pads too much but i thought that just for today because it's just been a big day for you hasn't it you just don't want to go out in the cold and it's raining and it's dark yeah hello maybe you have a little wii on there oh that's a big stretch hello hello how sporty it is now having a great time hello miss nelly miss nelly where's your tummy where's your tummy where's your tummy little sausage you're a tiny little sausage did you know that looks like a little pink tummy like a little richmond sausage [Laughter] now we have a success straight over to the mat which is good news on the mat great news where's she going she's behind you right behind you she's eating the rug oh no you want to come drink some more she also really likes her treats i bought these from amazon and she loved it yeah that was a success that was successful amazon purchase yeah went down very well with nelly so at least we know that she likes them now so i do wanted to drink some water though endless hours of nelly fun the diving bite there oh look at you and now she's back again sleeping like a little angel she's made it onto the sofa now though in her new fluffy sofa rug she does like it which is good because it means she's not sleeping in the one that came from her house she's now sleeping in her new one so we're very proud because nellie's having her first dinner and the breeder did say that she was worried that she might not eat tonight but she's chowing down on her food aren't you oh she's full of beans nelly peed on the the p-pad again by herself so we're very proud of her twice in one day lots of energy now she's got lots of energy we found out we've got a little alcoholic pup taken after your parents all she does is sleep and play and eat but mostly sleep look at the way she's sleeping the dream life she's so cute i've honestly just been staring at her all day like literally i've done absolutely nothing of any sort of like productiveness so our first night with nelly was actually not that bad she did sleep right next to my bed though and i did have to put my hand in there sometimes when she was crying but um i moved out as soon as she fell asleep so it was like pretty easy and we got quite a good night's sleep all things concealer i'd say pretty good joe especially did but no she was fine it was just the when we first went to bed she had a bit of a moment where she just cried and cried and cried and cried and cried some more um and then this morning she's been a bit crying but now she's just she's just sleeping that's just all you do isn't it it's like sleeping on her back sleep you look very silly yeah but i yeah as i said it's so hard to be productive with a puppy like it's actually almost impossible i would say it's really really hard yeah plus you have to watch them all the time i might just yeah might just take the next few weeks off this is my life now that's my hoodie that you're chewing no no no nelly drop silly sausage silly sausage ow your teeth are like little needles they are look at your little pink tummy you're full of beans now don't eat my watch you weirdo so nelly's very special porch potty has arrived because we obviously live in an apartment we've got an outdoor balcony so we thought we'd get one of these for training purposes but obviously when she's big we'll just make sure we take her out lots of times in the day and go for lots of walks yes you're going to be tired out all the time because you're just full of beans yep you are you're full of beans full of beans um so yeah let's open this i'm very intrigued by this it's recommended for like um apartments and toilet training and stuff but it's literally mind out come here quite a high high production i know nelly you're gonna have to fit yeah you you try and open this you try and get in there what do you think of that nelly this is this is your fake patch of grass no you can't eat the grass what's that oh that's funny that's funny does it taste nice no no nelly this also comes with it which i think is absolutely hilarious it's like a fake fire hydrant i guess it's if you've got like a boy dog and maybe he would like pee up against it but do i mean but i personally think it's awful so i don't really want to have it on there if we don't have to but joe's a bit worried that he might have something to do with the hose but i don't think it does what do you think nelly oh bree she can't come around now the box is in the way where are you lily oh i can see your tail i can see your tail how's that treating you yep turned it into a chew toy i don't think that's what it's for nelly so nelly's now asleep again as usual shock uh it's basically her favorite thing to do um but we're going to end this vlog here um because otherwise you just have a hell of a lot of puppy and we're going to spend the rest of our evening like this by the looks of it the first two days with nelly have been pretty good all things considered she's been a very good little puppy we're very very pleased with her she's catching on quick we just can't wait to be taking her out for walks and so excited but thank you all so much for watching and i will see you all in
