WE FINALLY WENT TO EL TORO!

we're out here we're out here in laguna beach and if you don't know we're gonna go with mr paul schmidt we're gonna go make our skateboards ricky's gonna make his skateboard i think mcnuggers too day one you know how excited i am i get to make my shape it's a morning we just woke up hopped in the jacuzzi over there it was fantastic hopping in the jacuzzi to the pool to the jacuzzi and showered about to go get some starbucks so now we wait what was her name haley aspiring actress like right there in starbucks while i was waiting in line i was reading right there and it's like haley has been an aspiring actress for like two years but did you know seven years ago she was a cellist i don't know what that is a child oh a cellist should i go back in a pod though you know what okay everybody we are here at costa mesa we're next to the coast i don't know if you could tell by the name costa mesa out of tesla she looked at me really rude she was like i'm not in the tesla i'm mad i'd be mad too he is down here he said he had to walk along the complex so it should just like scan the perimeter kind of like a reservoir i'm wondering if it's like further down this way oh yeah oh yeah you can see it way over there it's starting to build up bigger i thought oh look at this leaf this is my souvenir of the trip i'm keeping it i have to frame it paul can make me a board in this shape the leaf shape because it's from the hidden leaf village if you you know if you know imagine it's poisonous and i touched i'm over here touching it like one way to find out oh yeah if you don't do it i'll do literally about to just go in front board would be amazing yeah i don't know if my ankles are like ready to take that impact again or this impact yeah i don't know if you can tell how big this drop is but it's at least nine feet nine to ten feet secret spots unlocked then you got the ditch right there you know like when you unlock a spot yeah tony hawk is like this is intense worse from down here first spot of the day no big deal i mean paul schmidt is gonna be yeah but we need you in one piece to make a board so we can meet him i just want to feel it he's making me nervous because like now i feel like i gotta skate it don't escape this i just wanna hop on i'm not gonna go for it all the way like i'm just doing this to see how it feels to be a skateboarder [Laughter] yeah i think he should feel that once in a while hold on hold on dang i almost lost this hey that's a little elite you need that guy i do okay yeah how slick it was i mean if it would it worked we got video parts to film i it but i'm not all right we got 10 minutes to get this spot that we actually were supposed to go to all right i'll give it one more hold on there's like a ant and it's like making me nervous oh man i hey oh we're about done don't need to be i want to see you landing it's just i have to use the restroom and it's i can't focus and like think i know that takes focus to do the you know yeah but if you're preoccupied yeah it's like interesting focus that's what it happens to evacuate his battles i know people come out here and skate this don't get a whole lot of skaters sometimes you know if it's cleaned out let me go check out the spot and see if it's worth it as soon as i hop on i let it go i need to stay with it is that what you want to do just slide the deck down yeah like slide with my my body like this on it just just this playing board side but the thing is you know how my body is right now this is what i need to do with it but the minute i hop on because i'm going at an angle you see the angle it's not like how i'm used to so by going this way my body's still going towards the third side so i have to kind of find that approach where i land exactly just my body weight on the ledge and i line like this instead of like leaning back so the board doesn't slip out so this is what i got to do exactly just slide do you have to get that start over there right here yeah or i could do it right here but this is a little more intimidating because i'm now higher but it could work and be quick yeah this feels more intimidating because now i'm higher up oh yeah i gotta pick up after i gotta go back oh it's okay good luck with that bro thank you i appreciate it he like made me feel a little more at ease about this it's really chill maybe if i go slower but i feel like i'm already going slow enough right hopefully if it's not going to work don't don't force it all right because this is too dangerous to just pause all right all right let's go sorry if it's not gonna work be quite the experience i'm very excited i listened to the railvid and the nine club and it seems like the sickest dude and he's like such a legend you know so i am nervous and excited and happy guys safe come on take a drink literally once you just accept this is not a ledge this is different thing it's not that bad i mean i haven't stood up there yet but i think it's okay i thought i lost my board you're coming in too hot i was like oh no it's like an sf hill that's what uh bob brentwood said he said oh if you can bomb hills you can do this okay i can't control it did that look cool yeah dang this is wild that was a fun little intermission lost my board for a second remind me of dude where's my car give us a knee slide ricky all right nice and high this is how you progress feels good feels safe it looks safe looks good it looks like you got that from the top that doesn't feel safe but let's try it this is more scary you feel pretty good once you get the confidence it's like skating once you get the confidence of standing on the board you're like oh yeah i could roll off the gutter it's kind of the same where are we we are in my childhood dream right now nice car park it doesn't look like it's anything but then if you look over that way we're in skate history right here el toro high school famous 20 step probably the most famous spot in skateboarding i would say definitely up there in like the top three or four so yeah let's go have a look it sounded like there's some skaters here so things could get interesting yeah we don't know what we're in store for have skated this but we can't i mean i actually don't doubt the most probably would scare yeah he would definitely just to say you did it you know even i would almost be tempted to do that imagine the power of mona lisa we made it we're here i think i could blunt slide down already i feel like my wheels would not like that i'll see if that will work right there dude you should get some sort of points for that it does at least the point it probably won't be the best but i'll do like a no slide this time i'll do it i'm good that was a bad not the pants i just ripped the pants oh is this vlog vibe still what are we on day three 9 30. i don't know if you even call this a spot i think you call it like a bank but it's still always fun to just skate random stuff there's a lot of traffic a lot of varying speeds that was really good i didn't see that every day ricky be on that tokyo drift mode right now all right oh oh that made my ears go up you know like dogs when like something random is happening they're like they don't know how to react or sit if they're going to bark that was me or oh oh oh you apologize nah it's cool all right everyone so that was a vlog you just saw rail doesn't usually vlog as much as we would like to but hopefully you enjoyed all the skating you saw the highlight for me was el toro because we randomly did the randomness things there because the 20 star wasn't skateable obviously you know i would early grab it but it's fenced and skate stopped so i couldn't do it so ricky yeah so let us know leave it in the comments below did you like this vlog
