'WE COULDN"T TURN AROUND !!!'- CARAVANNING 4X4 OFFROAD TRACKS to A FREE BEACHFRONT CAMP IN WA

[Music] come with us this week as we continue the adventure to find those beautiful Less Traveled free cams in the southwest of Western Australia is all this worth [Music] [Applause] it we find some absolute cracking camps and of course we get stuck in the process of getting in and to top the episode off we stay at possibly our best beach in wa [Music] [Applause] [Music] yet well welcome to another episode boat harbor boat Harver in wa yes what an awesome it's a free care right on the water you can see our Caravan just up there pretty cool we did have a few D coming in here yeah yeah well we'll show you how we got in yesterday and we do still have to turn around but we'll show you some of those clips now it doesn't take long after you turn off the bitchman to realize why this spot isn't as popular as some Jesus jeez this is a bad corrugated Road the roads are rough and it's a bit of a challenge to get in you do need some good ground clearance for some of the sand holes and a camp like this with a track into it just makes for a bit of an adventure we're just on a bit of a Sandy track at the moment was so corrugated up until this point but it sort of turned into a little bit more of a track nothing hard at the moment but you probably do need a bit of clearance uh well there's a little bit coming up a little bit of a tricky bit not trick [Music] even we just come through that um I don't know what is it called like a the tight band around Little Creek and apparently we just talked to someone on the way uh in here that's the there's a duck there's a duck everyone Elena gets excited about ducks now after Elena's duck San it wasn't much further until Camp the track did get a lot more Sandy and definitely got more tight the closer we got to the campsites Jesus have a go at this hole that's going to be interesting this is quite a drop off the truck does make these sorts of obstacles look small just cuz of its um size and I can't really feel much I can oh I got that old B's coming through this is the um good thing about having a flat floor gives you a lot more ground clearance a little obstacles and the van makes it easier because it's got two wheels close together jeez I don't know if we've gone the right or wrong way we got a crying baby we're in a tight track with some sof in so we've locked it into four-wheel drive no it's actually we're sort of on top of the juice yeah and the beach is right [Music] there oo what did you say scch the what about th do you want to scratch the boat well we actually don't really know where Camp is we're just following like the track that's on [Music] CES [Music] well we're in a bit bit of a pickle and he all the spots down this end uh like the good spots are taken but there is the Dilemma isn't there we can't turn around um sort of anywhere we're too long yeah so like we're in the car park at the moment it wouldn't be an issue nor normally but we're the um tray and the what is it oh yeah so like cuz the truck's so wide um the back of the tray hits the stone guard so I'm going to take the stone guard off so we got more movement try and reverse the camera uh Caravan in here and then if we have to take it off we'll take it off move the truck and then go back out that way that wasa's idea too by the way yeah Nick wasn't for it cuz I was saying it at first and then I think he's had a little think about it it's it's our only option really we going have to get out of here well there was another option to go down to the beach but it's so soft and there is no way no anyway Nick's going to take off the um rock guard or whatever it is and see how we go so you wouldn't believe it halfway through getting the stone guard off um there's a caretaker here his name's Trevor and he come up come down the track and uh he sort of said yeah we're we're turning around mate with we're getting out of me he like why don't you just Camp here so I reckon this is prime position we got like this massive slab area in front of the ocean and tomorrow the weather's supposed to turn it on so we're going to put the camera down cuz we've got a lot of work to do this afternoon and tomorrow this is going to be beautiful what do you reckon linnux good good so it's not too hard to get in not too hard it's pretty corrugated yeah it was very rough um but the plan for today the cloud is supposed to burn off so we're just going to go for a swim there's like a little bit of a lagoon just there we can go for a snorkel and all that yeah LX has got his snorkel gear on he's ready oh yeah anyway so Beach day you ready this is lennox's first proper snorkel you want to start swimming good Lennox is only 4 years old and is already putting his hand up to come diving with the big fella this little guy gives anything a go and at 4 years old we are so proud of him oh my God there is a seal they just swim up to Nick and Len but it looks funny I don't know what's going on oh my God that is incredible [Music] what just happened boys oh that was amazing the SE came up to you yeah I know that was pretty cool it's your first snorkel man that was cool how did you go did you enjoy it yeah yeah what do you reing it was doing I don't know what it was doing ol's not happy though is he no the Sun finally snuck out from behind the clouds and this place and its watercolors came to life for a free Camp right on the ocean with the beach like this in our opinion does not get much better and whatever Lennox does at the moment our middle child Finley wants to follow suit go finny you can do [Music] it how did you like snorkeling mate good good did you see a lot of fish yeah that's good what about the seal say the seal that was pretty cool a little c a crab in the yeah oh you seen a crab in the seawe and not many four-year-olds can say that they swam with a seal on their first snorkling Adventure not many four-year-olds have snorkel mate you're a lucky man how's this spot too by the way the sun is just coming out smashing it this is free by the way free it's not like easily accessible I think that's why there's not too many people here yeah and this is our game plan too now from now on in wa to find these spots that are free yeah you don't have to book they're free they're a little bit harder to get to but worth it yeah we tried last night sitting down and booking stuff we cracked it we actually got I don't know why we keep sort of trying yeah so so we're not booking anything uh we're just going to go with the flow if there's spots there's spots if not there's not no we we're we're not ones for booking yeah anyway when you don't book um you get to go to these spots this will do for another night eh yeah I guess so we'll put out with it go B oh no the W's going to get you for hours we've been searching for little crabs in all these rocks and all that here and we finally found one we've got a couple this is our hole down here there's a couple in there but one two 3 run boys me touch him me touch yeah you got to get it been trying to teach the boys how to pick up crabs so they just know how to that's it you just grabing by the back there mate and tight so when I let go yet when I Let Go these little claws are going to go but they can't get they can't get you if you grab it behind there don't let go okay I'm not going to let go H you're not okay don't let him go you just tell me when you want me to let go go no well that's how you do it finny you want to go I'm not going to wa let go yeah you did it like how bro did how we tell you yeah good work finny no on the behind the back leg we not walking that's all right don't have a go Ollie you just grab him all good work going to be his good goly we made a new home order it's C all right make should we see Ollie especially when it's like this there's a fork go what what did you make is a well we only had three sausages in a pack why we did that I don't know so we just made a salad salad sausage but the view is pretty good can't complain she's cold but the view is pretty good it's not even cold it is cold have a go L it's not cold at all got she's killed a sheep she's got the ugies and [Music] then it's summer Alena I know it's freezing do the wind is cold the boys are you cold boys yes see they're cold too who's this going to feed me oh well I was going to have crackers but then crackers oh you right it's time to turn this big b around in this small place so this sort of thing is asking for a fight so I'm just going to see how it panss out let him take control all right you ready yep just go on uhoh uhoh come back up oh God that would be even worse so that guy you can probably hear in the background is Trevor and he sort of looks after the joint he's been here for 14 years he's so cool he came down to watch yeah he's going to give us a little tug we're still at full air pressures so no I think he thrives off this sort of thing he came down with a big smile on his face yeah anyway so we're not going to let it down he's just going to get the get his car give us a little tug and we should be off how allfood everyone's starting to come surface and come and watch it's always the way at campsite though go go go go go we didn't quite have the Turning Circle to make the U-turn so we had to disconnect everything reposition the truck reattach the van before heading out and on to our next Camp is all this worth it yeah um oh yeah not too bad only adds a little bit of pressure with all the extra people our next campsite is called Betty's Beach and was one of our favorite beaches today the only problem is there's only a handful of sides and it isn't open all year round well Betty's Beach on the drivein this place looks amazing it's crazy [Music] how is this free yeah so this is a free Camp hopefully we can get a spot um there always the risk with these but I don't know we'll see love to stay here because it looks well Mom I stay here I'll die mom I stay here all day yeah stay here all day I griefing so there was no spots and Len is not speaking to me at the moment because on the way in we put the Drone up and obviously and I said let's just wait let's just wait and get into a spot but no anyway there was a caravan that overtook us on the way in there and they got the last spot and it's a cool place absolutely amazing but the people in the Caravan said um you know we'll wait for you tomorrow they're only staying one night and we can swap places so we're going there's another Camp just down the road we're going to for tonight maybe spot and um then hopefully we can come back tomorrow but um that was my fault I'll take that so we got here only like a couple minutes around the W and there's quite a few spots spare here um little freshwater lake sort of thing not on the ocean like um Betty's but see if Elena has simmered down yet have a feeling she hasn't how you feeling now what you need some of ol's Happiness look still filthy at me yep Norman's wasn't a bad camp at all very protected next to a lake which looks like it has the potential to open up to the ocean every now and again the SES were large and it was very quiet days like these I love showers why does Mommy love showers L because ol Lulu Hulu it's like that black sand that just like gets everywhere and I don't know how you've got it all over your face B fella he he's been eating it what have you been doing y so this afternoon we've written off we're going to in a little bit take the boys in and shower them and then they're allow back out until tomorrow we're going to have a movie afternoon which we don't do much no we don't we need to do it a bit more we used to like when you're in the house you sort of have like movies Sunday or whatever yeah do a lot nothing I know sometimes when your full-time travel you got to slow yourself down yeah you got to remember yeah anyway so we're signing off we're going to see you tomorrow hopefully at Betty's yes I did have a dummy spit today a dummy spit was a dummy throw up like you spat the dummy and then you threw up well it's a good job for friends here yeah you had a sleep and a bit of food yes I did though I did another good go if not it's okay elenia if not it will be okay we're going to we're going to Dr one you watch with a lar in better spirit and the weather looking great for the next few days we were certainly in for a treat at Betty's [Music] Beach well we got a Sal we did we made it we've got in and wait till you see the B so this is the campsites they're all sort of similar just get a bit of grassed bit Red Dirt black sand free you can't complain but the beach is pretty cool let's go quick quick quick so there the carav and truck over there but this you just walk across the road and there's the [Music] beach I was Mesmer by your so another morning down at the beach another cracking day this place is one of the better ones I reckon in wa and it does shut down though for a few months I'm not sure becomes like a salmon fishery so you be careful of that but L and the boys down at the beach another Beach day we're going to check out another beach today too go for a little bit of a drive U and check that out yeah this is living [Music] [Applause] [Music] bazer you guys out look at that little thing oh my God he's Tiny from my cooking show later on I need peanut butter and this is perfect and go easy on it cuz that was five bucks $5 I think all of it was Fe 14 bucks Jesus well I'm going to cook up a storm you wait this will be well well worth the five bucks what is it a tiny peanut butter C butter oh we're going to have some on some bread or is that for mom's cooking show [Music] [Applause] welcome to Len's G if you're on a diet do not watch this it is not good for you I don't know what to call it maybe o peanut butter slice all right first up we got some oats [Applause] oh okay it supposed to be three cup half a cup of brown [Music] sugar teaspoon of vanilla we got some butter cup of butter who did these oh yeah maybe that was me me it's only a tiny little bloody thing as it is I go easy honest it's about $2 a tablespoon well I've got to use oh I don't know whether to oh well I think it's half a cup pretty sure it's half a cup that' be half 200 g I don't know whatever and mix it all together put half in a container or a slic sliced pan squish it down oh can I have like a oh yeah you can like this yeah you can go you know what I'm talking about I do know what you're talking about nice Techni on you she's useless and then put some melted chocolate in [Music] there and then put your rest rest of the mixture on and then I'm going to put her in the freezer so we can have a midnight snack tonight Nick after our work it worked did [Music] it look at it to tast it now was still there look at it oh look at that middle and you you've nailed it actually looks good okay you try it very good actually this is your best slice today picture of Health it's cuz we spent five bucks on a little peanut butter jar for it that's probably why it tastes nice look at that the van's clean sort of sort of those are so bad I don't know if it's like the soap or something or maybe it does probably us we always try and skimp and try and get the least amount of dollars I had my own little broom going but um we left that awesome spot was it Betty's Beach it was so good top spot we just got to Albany do all the jobs today like toilet washing everything and it is a messing there so lots of JS but I don't think we're staying in Alby tonight cuz we got to keep pushing to per Earth um because we have got to be there in a week yeah plus it's pretty expensive here in out yeah so we're going to let it settle down a bit and come back a month or two anyway on to some more jobs yes laundry love a good job day where we going big fella the pirate is the pirate CH aren't we yeah pirate so we're going to leave daddy filling up the um van with water and we're going to go and explore the pirate sheep aren't we let's go for anyone new to the channel our eldest boy Lennox is obsessed with pirates so this was his ultimate day it's on the foreshore of Albany you can
