We Built an ANTI-AIR MISSILE SAM LAUNCHER! | Trailmakers Multiplayer

[Music] Hello everybody welcome back to the channel today I'm joined with Professor Cognito and we're going to be experimenting with the custom missile mod once again because I seen a lot of comments you guys wanted me to build a Sam turret or Sam missile um anti-air system type of thing where we essentially launch missiles from the ground and using this mod we can definitely do that so we've pulled out the good old F18 or we have professor in it already cuz he's going to be the uh test pilot for this and when I say test I mean like yeah I'm I'm I'm a straight guinea pig in this cockpit that's what's going on pretty much first things first I actually need to build the um the Sam turret or the Sam missile dispenser I don't even know what you call these things we'll just call it the Sam the good job is I already have the missile what I can do is just reuse this template here and then build a turret around it okay so if I do this I have four missiles and then I just need to connect them all to a turret base of some kind have you come to watch cogo yeah I'm going come watch I'm I'm I'm curious about these things are you going to try and have them on some sort of like spinning platform yeah the whole platform is just going to rotate on an axis and uh up and down hopefully these missiles will have enough power to launch from the ground because uh they only have two rocket thrusters in them now if you didn't watch the last video uh I did this mod on with patch bits uh so basically these green eyes are they have been modded by this mod and uh these will be the tracking blocks and essentially they just control the missiles for us it's got some special Voodoo going on in those special voodoo magic yeah yeah so just got a base here any tank treads or anything any tank treads no this will be a stationary thing I'm going to put some weights on it though and also anchor Pin It To The Ground yeah I'm curious see when of those Rockets go off if it throws it throws it back a little bit I just need the anchor pin there it is we'll give this little bit of a paint job okay so we have it made but everything's still set on uh Auto reset so I need everything on hold position okay all right this is looking pretty good yeah uh looks looks pretty terrifying to me a little concerned I have set all of the uh well I haven't set anything actually the the detachable blocks are on default so if I just press lb um I did not want that to happen wow that was awesome looks like I've got a pretty good chance at uh Staying Alive here well um I actually need to fix that problem and disable the controls on the dynamite there we go so now if I press lb oh oh yeah awesome okay awesome works like a charm perfect I feel like I should delay the launch of these so if I delay this one do the same on the other side but this side I'm actually going to change the release key from LB to RB so that means I can just do individual shots like this just like that huh oh God the initial launch is so terrible I mean if it's tracking something oh oh oh there we go oh there we go I've there we go oh my God I'm being attacked by my own missiles just destroyed yourself oh that's good all right I think I'm pretty I think I'm pretty safe here you see I think I'm uh I'm good to go no worries whatsoever I actually need to set up all of my logic now so if we go into the custom window here if I do this there we go so I'm going to put them all on 50 strength activation distance 5 and then disable that do the same here same there disable that and you know what why not let's save the creation so I don't lose it yeah yeah yeah why why not save what you've done all right so that's kind of ready now I think so I just need to go into this plane here press on the I put in the magic targeting Beacon there we go the magic there we go it should be working now so now we get to test this you want to get in the air yeah I'll get in the air this thing is fast you like it yeah it's fast very n yeah it's one of my favorite Creations if you didn't know I actually took on a real fighter pilot in that creation yeah I saw that was that was a cool video yeah that was a great video oh oh Oho nailed it what okay well he just destroyed everything I I might have to reset all of the logic here you know what I'm going to actually change I'm going to go down here here we go yeah so we're going to spawn down here she can come to me as well yep spawn it in for me okay there we go set Target again so the target's set I have to do this every time if basically as long when when you destroy the plane you destroy the logic so it's just okay well it wasn't my intention to crash it just kind of happened perfectly that way I think everything's ready his missiles alive or am I just trying not to get shot by you I mean you could attack me but uh you don't really have anything on that lane I should really add bombs to that I mean i' seem to be pretty good with the kamakazi attacks so we'll see what we got here all right if I can uh stop you from crashing into me that should be good there you go there you go okay but the main thing is we test these missiles are you ready that's the main purpose of this is testing missiles gotcha gotcha 3 2 1 Target spotted I'm launching okay uh-oh oh no this is the goofiest launch ever no no no all right um what happened not sure what's happening go after him don't go after me the missiles are attracted to they keep going back to you it looks like they're attracted to me they're following me dude what look at this help uh-oh that's funny oh oh I just wrecked oh my God I got three missiles after me no wonder it didn't work I'm the I'm the threat I'm the target funny you're the threat yep uh they've really got a mind of their own don't they okay well um I think there might some host settings oh oh it's falling in love with me now I think there might be some host settings that I need to fix it's all players we're going to put no players and then okay it should Target yeah so it was targeting you and then when I came down here I was closer so it started targeting me Target other teams and there's also a fles category which we'll get in at the second part of this video cuz you can actually make flares for this mod all right I uh I guess you get back in the plane oh I got a want a new one so once Youtube cuts me a check I'll get the rest of the uh the DLC DLCs I got to cut me a check first which means you guys have to watch you have to like And subscribe as Jui says it's free the beauty about YouTube is that it's free content okay it's saying there's two Targets so I'm guessing the debris over there still has the uh the Block in but hopefully oh maybe yeah hopefully this works are you ready I'm ready okay I'm going after you oh man this these launches are so goofy what is a ground it's a ground to ground missile they're not working are they following you is anything happening I don't think anything is happening okay there's just not enough initial launch power all right I guess it's time to backspace he crashed I saw that okay come back to the spawn uh if you backspace you'll be able to delete everything this really is trial and error that work that brought me back oh you're at the wrong now instead of uh yeah you got to spawn over here you just crash again yeah if you do you know how to access the map you press tab map and then you just press the there we go there we go there we go Okie doie we're learning we're learning okay let's just test if this actually works here so I'm going to drop a missile just switch my detachable blocks around so they launch on the bottom well that worked yes it works okay if you uh just repair get in the air we can actually have some fun here with the the missile the anti-air systems I can back space but if I repair try and stay in the air as long as you can just don't fly near mountains the only objects I want to uh disturb you are my missiles I am magnetically uh attracted to all rocks and water all right here we go I'm launching enemy detected off they go s oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah they're chasing you all right survive now going to try and get in range here trying to trying to trick them here see if I can shoot them they're still go there's three of them take him down I think I'm faster than the Rockets you might be actually oh there they go they lost so much spot here come on you guys you see me yes there it is there you go nice yeah I think the Jets a little faster than the Rockets all right okay well I think it's your turn to try the uh the missile machine here okay yeah I it is quite fun trying to dodge them when when they're just zooming around like a pack of bees attempt here let's see get some get some altitude I'm going to strafe you aim n no got to figure out how to shoot here I there goes one are they chasing me I have no idea there goes oh two are off yes they're chasing me I hear them I'm going to try yeah I need to put like bombs on this so we can do a One V one where's the third one come on third one fire oh they hit the mountain I'm having complications with the last one come on Rocket oh it says I'm broken that's why maybe that's why I'm not able to fire it you can repair uh you can send more missiles I think I made them all fly into the cliff there where' you go where did you go there he is there he is send him yeah the last one W fire okay and I killed myself and there we go we survived I out flew your missiles if you launch them now what happens oh they're attacking you I'm still the target somehow yeah there's a Jet right in front of me how does that happen Okay go in the air fast as you can high as you can as I can as I can yep I'm doing some Wiggles for you wow they are really trying there's only two on you right now I kind of want more to launch fire okay for some reason that's not working only those two missiles are working none of the rest of my missiles are working ah is it is those first two are set up right then I don't know yeah probably man they are really sticking in my tail here oh no no no no no no no no get off me get off me get off me get him that one's lost the front of its Warhead it's going to get me that's like right on top of you dude it's hanging out with me like we're best buds now I'm just waiting for it to explode come on Missile do something wait there's one on you right now yeah it's literally hanging on oh there he goes it's behind me now there's two more chasing you I don't think it impacted hard enough so it just kind of was like rubbing get him boys trying to bring the missiles back to you this actually looks like a scene from Top Gun I can't lie there's something so satisfying about these missiles actually working I'd seeing the music but uh demonetization you guys at home just sing Top Gun while we're doing this play in the background oh no no no no don't CR don't crash oh CR dud these missiles are hanging on yeah they're they're on you forever honestly and they're going about the same speed I can go a little faster if I stay straight but as soon as I start to turn look at them go yeah you're definitely faster than the missiles so you can survive this trying to get the missiles to crash oh oh no no no no no no no it's over oh I lost Li and the missiles died too cuz they H have no more Target oh interesting very interesting two of them work okay so now that we've really tested out the capabilities of this Sam I think we should mess out with the flares so if I launch one of these yeah okay they're going after you oh even missiles from last time are after you okay oh hello okay that's a lot of missiles you have two flares and I shot like four missiles there's actually six there goes one player oh it dropped it to the ground yeah did it make the did it follow I can't tell I can't tell either oh they're still on my butt that's for sure all right drop it again okay next flare yeah it looks like they go after it for a little while it's enough to distract I think oh okay but then they they they gain Target again which is fine I mean that makes sense wait if you air repair now and just keep trying the flares I just kind of want to see the flares in action all right tell me when you drop the I've lost the missiles though I hear them I see them oh they're in a pack there's so many I dropped one you drop they're going oh no no no they're still after me okay okay all right let me mess around it looks like for a second though I do lose their their tracking okay there might be like an activation time thing that I need to just adjust okay I'm launching here we go yep Ready is it working I I see one there's one Let's Just Launch one for now let's conserve our missiles they're so tiny I can see I have to follow the shadow I'm launching a second one I've launched two I don't see anything it's close it's close oh no I do I see it I see I see them both you should definitely try and throw them off of your flares get line up here flare one okay oh look like did it work it's hard to tell there's to get a closer you're very far away from me it's hard to see anything actually yeah I'm trying to stay low for you okay you got a second flare right yeah do it noware s the flare go down and the missiles ignored it I don't know if you air repair again just keep throwing flares down just just keep doing it every time you got the uh air repair it's hard to tell it's honestly it's hard to tell because it's like they it it's like it works for a second I don't want to just say it doesn't work I feel like I'm drop one flare away there's a flare there's a flare are both flares just been dropped and they're not reacting to them okay well um I don't know what else I can do to fix this honestly i' I've messed around with the options the targets um but uh I don't know if the mod's semi broken or what or maybe it's just me being it's it's probably YouTuber content creator blinders you know we're missing something somewhere we're being very unlucky right now but at least we've made the main goal of the video which is to make a Sam turret and launch missiles from the ground I think and that worked and it worked it worked amazingly that worked I we're just struggling with the flares that was the only thing so if you guys know how to work the flares please let us know in the comments uh definitely well this was really just another excuse to mess around with the missile mod again cuz I think it's fascinating there's a lot of potential with this this type of mod because we could essentially make anything be attracted to anything so imagine like Beyblades that attack each other you know with this yeah I wasn't even think about like I was just thinking put put tank treads on this but you're going one step further you could have like little pets you can make pets that could follow the character and stuff and little droids and there's so much potential with this this oh yeah like the little uh the little Molly from like deep rock Galactic or something that follow around too that be really cool yeah a little pet little pet Rob little R2D2 yeah be well I
