i saw the mama dog the chain was so heavy for her neck but she was wagging her tail at us [Music] i got a call about a mama dog and her three puppies right when we pulled up the owner led us onto the property and it was pretty upsetting [Music] you could see that she had been there for a very long time her nails were long completely emaciated i could see that this guy did not know that there were resources out there to help him he went into his garage and dragged out a crate with two of the puppies then i told him he would surrender them to us [Music] this man should not have kept these dogs in that condition but at the same time he was allowing me to come onto the property then we got the other puppy who was loose [Music] so we put everybody in the car locked the car and the owner looked right at me and he said you're not getting her so i thought okay you're awesome you did the right thing you're a good guy i could tell that female though she's underweight and does she stay chained up all day to that you let her off where does she sleep you put her in the garage here those was in the garage no but where did she sleep i had to i threw out throughout her house away the other day it was like that talk so maybe can you put her in here to sleep at night and i'll give you a bed and stuff because it's starting to just get chilly the other night when it was real cold i had to put a blanket over here but what i'd like to do is get her fixed and vaccinated and i was shocked so i'm going to be in touch he said open the car so i went back there she couldn't have gotten out of there any quicker she did not look back she was wagging her tail so grateful let me take this out and put a new blanket in there okay it pays to be kind if i went in there and i didn't treat him with kindness and i was rude i wouldn't have got that end result there was good in him fine oh she's so pretty we noticed there was another dog on the property and we were able to get her as well we didn't leave any dogs behind all right don't don't be scared not one time did he ask me for money but i gave him 40 dollars and i said sometimes we need to ask for help when we get underwater when we have too many dogs [Music] these guys we decided to name her mama lucky because it was definitely her lucky day you look just like your mama are you guys ready for your pretty colors oh my goodness look how cute you are you have a flower too hello dorothy one of the three toto we just put a tag on him and they love the blanket it's like gold to them and this is tucker the puppies of course found homes tucker now ollie went to a home with friends of mine who have a dog who looked just like him and the other two found amazing homes you good boy my amazing foster carla took the momma dog hi mom fostering saves lives because when we weighed mama lucky she was 17 pounds and then 15 days later she was 32 pounds so she was on average gaining about a pound a day it's just the perfect environment for her because she has a pack of dogs good girl you could see that she bloomed in that environment and how young she was she just played with dogs all day she's a puppy herself like maybe two years old now she's in the most amazing home they love her she's brother [Music] that was a joy to see her off of the leash and crying and incredibly loving [Music] how did you switch to your bone like how on earth is this dog so nice and so forgiving and so sweet and full of kisses happy to see everybody oh i love that dog [Music] you
