Washed up college youtuber lolol

[Music] [Music] like it's so loud right now today's vlog is starting very late as you can see in the background it is almost sunset for most of the day i was hanging out with some friends sort of just taking it easy but i told myself i was going to vlog today so that's what we're doing right now as you've probably noticed on my channel i've posted a lot of videos the most consistent i've ever been for this vlog i kind of want to talk about what's my plan for this channel so i thought i would think out loud tell you guys my mindset right now and what i plan to do in the next few months [Music] i think it's going to title this video washed up college youtuber because that's sometimes what i feel like how i started my channel was that i was a student at boston college and i made a lot of college videos on my experiences giving college advice all that stuff and that's sort of like how i grew my channel but as you probably saw i graduated from college like two months ago and now i moved to freaking new york city so that leaves the question like what am i gonna do for content this is a question that all my friends asked me when i said i was doing youtube full-time and it's also the question that i asked myself all the time another concern i had was are people gonna watch me now that i'm not in college anymore so both very very scary questions because i didn't have the answers so i just wanted to kind of make this vlog make a little simple vlog today i just want to talk about you know what are what are my plans for youtube now i've posted more videos in this past week than i have in the past like three months i love vlogs you know i love being able to document my experiences and being able to look back at them years down the line for as long as i have fun making them i want to keep making vlogs on my channel and you know new york city like cool stuff happens here every day and just having my camera on me allows me to capture those moments besides vlogs i also want to have some content that you know pushes me creatively i don't have exact ideas for what i want to make but definitely like more story driven stuff challenges telling stories about my own life and you know getting deep exploring business finance fashion music pretty much pretty much anything that i am interested in i want to do vlogs but i also want to make other videos as well that you know excite me creatively not that vlogs don't in my last video a lot of people left comments that they wanted to see more guessing majors videos i don't think i've ever talked about the impact of these guessing majors videos they did really well on my channel they're they're the most viewed videos on my channel i thought about it i don't i don't think i wanna make my channel into like an interview based channel you know with the guessing majors videos like they're fun to film and i might make some more in the future maybe on another channel the goal of my channel isn't to you know just get a lot of views like those videos do really well but why i do youtube is because i want i love the creative fulfillment it gives me the impact that i can have on other people and you know being able to document my own you know human experience so if i were to make another guessing majors video or any interview type video realistically i'll probably make i would make like another channel to you know make those videos for this channel i want to cultivate more of a personal brand and build sort of a community where people come for stuff i make and not necessarily you know those interview style videos that is pretty much everything i wanted to say i'm gonna let my actions speak for themselves and you know just uh put put that work in i'm excited hope that made sense and yeah i'll see you guys very soon me
