Warframe: The Story Of The Zariman 10-0 Bitesize Lore

[Music] so this iron man 10-0 has been ingrained in warframe's lore for such a long time and all of the little small puzzle pieces that were eventually put together by the community put a kind of really scary harrowing story of what went on on this ship during that failed jump drive the zaramontenzier was the spark that helped create tenno and as a result the controlling of warframes so let's refresh with some bite-sized zaraman lore the aerocan empire the sheer pinnacle of human civilization obsessed with their own perfection and cruel beyond belief to what they deemed as lower-class citizens complete with kidnappings executions turning people into cephalons they were a race that seen themselves as gods or demigods in a way they had already achieved near immortality offered up to them in the form of kuva however in a bid to expand their empire as their resources became very limited and their i guess population grew they prepared to send a colony ship towards the tower region with this expansion in mind to settle among the stars thanks in a huge way to albrecht and tratty and the creation of his reliquary drive or void jump technology and of course that large mysterious finger within it now this would lead to one of the most pivotal moments in warframe's fragmented lore the zaraman 10-0 incident a ship that we will very soon be able to set foot on in game and hopefully get to the bottom of what accord during that failed jump or at least give us some more breadcrumbs along the story because the angels of zara man update is right around the corner now this iron man colony ship was a very large military ship but the extent of the military personnel on board is pretty much unknown what we do know is that it was heavily populated by families complete with schools and the whole lot parents and of course their children children like rel which we will get to in a minute now as the zaraman 10-0 initiated its void jump towards tao something went horribly wrong we know this and seen it in the new war story it failed the gala field basically went down it failed leaving the zara man stranded in the void and exposing it to something truly evil call it chaos call it man in the wall call it some otherworldly entity but whatever it was it drove the adults on board the zaraman crazy murderous and the hunting began a section of this story we know from rel's webcomic rel of course was a child on board disarmament a child with a lot of sensory issues and in one segment of his webcomic you can read about him hiding behind a crate on board disarm and as all hell breaks loose around him there is an adult woman standing in the doorway with a knife in her hand calling rell's name rel is that you don't be afraid because mama's here of course she didn't sound like this but it was no longer his mother k it was something else controlling his mother and rel nudis you're not mama anymore rael said in the end he presumably killed kay by firing a void b matter and he managed to escape for now he will of course later sacrifice his life and bind his soul to his warframe harrow in an attempt to keep the man in the wall at bay but of course that's a different story initially the children under zaraman hid from the now crazy adult crew members their parents but they couldn't keep running and eventually they had no choice but to stop and kill those parents or those adults using their newly acquired void powers void powers that they couldn't fully control yet now just a side note there is a possibility that the upcoming void angel enemy types will be remnants of that adult crew or maybe whatever demonic entity that took control of them the impaled statues that we've seen in the angels of zaramon trailer could be what is left of those adult bodies but the inky flying angels could be whatever originally controlled them but now they're trapped because they have no body to control rel said the k wasn't k anymore which would insinuate that something else had taken control over so it could be those angels now this iron man didn't show up again in space for years later floating around in normal space a dead ship with everything powered down and none of its adult crew members to be found anyway however the children were all on board terrified mentally scarred from the horrors that they had witnessed but also they were changed very powerful due to the void energy i guess coursing through their veins which led to one incident that we know of and a rokan investigator called colleen boarded the zariman after it was found she approached those children as they were scared and as a result of getting too close to them she ended up with a very badly burned and badly scarred face this you can find out about in the ember prime lore codex in-game or the video for ember prime that i recently made as well but colleen asked a very very good question of her superiors at the end of that codex entry why would you do that why did you put children on a military ship we didn't that would violate procedure so another side note this question and the following response by that superior has led to some of the warframe community questioning if this version of the zaraman was in fact from our universe or was it a different zaraman that showed up for us with children on board whereas ours iron man didn't in fact have any children on board or else it was just the fact that the superior was indeed lying but the new war story did give us a multiverse if you will so it is a very interesting theory now terrified of these very powerful void infused children and the unknown i guess the heroican hierarchy sentenced them to death but margulis came up with an idea of putting these tenno to sleep in a cryo chamber to dream while she tried to heal their trauma tried to lock away what had happened to them on board disarmament but also so that they could harness their powers better and allow them to take control of what we now know as warframes those weapons that would help the orokin fight against the sentience now a dream that was so vivid are said to be so vivid and real that most children believed they were in fact the actual warframes and not a child but of course we found out about that in a previous quest as well so the incident on board is ironman of course like i said at the start of the video was one of those sparks that helped create tenno now where the story goes from here i'm pretty excited to find out if it is going to be a darker more i guess chaos driven storyline or not and we won't know until the angels of zaraman update drops and we get to play the next version of a quest and see what's in store for us but whatever it is i'm hoping it will continue on where the new war storyline left off with wally and possibly giving us some kind of an explanation as to who or what he actually is what was that big wall that came through the portal and then eventually eventually lead us up to the diviri paradox which is probably still one of the most eagerly awaited content drops in warframe since we were shown it several several years ago now if you are a lower nut that's been deep diving into warframe's lower for the last few years then hopefully i didn't make too many errors as i've waited this long to eventually look into it which is something i've said before i'm kind of ashamed
