Warframe | EVERY Tennokai Mod / Melee Arcane EXPLAINED

Whispers in the walls is here and with it has come two new major additions to the melee system unique arcanes and tenai tenai why does that sound so ah whatever starting out with tenai to unlock it you must complete the whisper Quest whereafter fish o Nati will send you a melee Arcane segment and adapter alongside your first tenai exus mod granting yourself access to the system starting off with tenai to utilize you must have one of these six Kai mods equipped with the base providing no buff besides activation of the system and the remaining five giving different unique ones with this active as you melee you will have a 15% chance for a symbol to appear as you perform an attack executing a heavy attack while the symbol is present will trigger a tenai heavy attack having a faster windup speed and not consuming any combo counter giving you the full benefit of its modifiers towards them just the system itself is alone quite powerful and adds another level of depth to weapons rather than just being a Mindless Mash e simulator another small but important detail is that this system is available for exalted weapons nothing to complain about there the remaining mods all do more than just give you access to the system with our first disciplines Merit granting heavy opportunities every four melee hits instead of at random for Pure consistency this mod is fantastic giving you the Heavies almost every 2 seconds in enemy dense content which as expected do a lot of damage Master's Edge on the other hand for Go any sort of opportunity chance for a 60% damage buff personally I find this quite weak as Heavies are already quite strong at 12x combo and other Kai mods just heavily outweigh it one of those being opportunities reach increasing the opportunity window by 4 seconds and the heavy attack range by 3 m this mod is probably best for those not looking to immediately spam their Heavies instead looking for a more opportune time to spend it conditions Perfection on the other hand is quite weak giving 100% status chance to tenai attacks most good melees already have four slash on their Heavies making this largely redundant for them anyways but by far the best tanoai mod is easily dreamer's wrath increasing opportunity Chance by 50% and critical damage by 32% this gives you the chance to get more Heavies with a significant buff on top of them as critical damage is a very saw after stat overall I would recommend that and discipline over all else with Master's Edge and conditions Perfection at the bottom the tenai system is without a doubt very strong and also very fun adding another layer of depth to melee arcanes but simultaneously they have received another major buff in the form of melee arcanes to use you must slot an adapter onto your melee similar to primaries and secondaries of the eight arcanes currently available some of these are quite strong though to preface I only have the rank one versions of them due to my affiliation with de and their creator program progam but regardless let's talk about them I will be mainly discussing their maxed out stats animosity will increase your critical chance by 42% per hit up to a cap of 420 on melee hit only buffing your next heavy attack with the tenai system this is far from a bad Arcane most useful for those who are leaning all the way into it melee duplicate may be one of the strongest arcanes we've ever seen on base critical hit your attack will strike twice base critical hit means yellows so going any higher than 100% cc is actually a bad thing for this Arcane though it makes up for it massively this is essentially the same thing as the DU Veri decree which is broken for the same reasons as this one melee exposure grants a Max 240% corrosive damage to your melee on ability cast this isn't bad per se as corrosive is quite a strong element for its increased damage towards armor as it ignores part of it as well though other arcanes like duplicate easily beat this one out melee fortification is actually pretty bad giving only 210 armor on melee kill which is nothing don't use this influence is easily the most complicated giving a 20% chance on melee electric proc to cause all Elemental melee statuses to spread to enemies within 18 M the reason I am not too big a fan of this is both requiring your melee to have electric on it something you already don't want to do and getting a proc then rolling the 20% chance and then you just keeps spreading electric to other enemies it doesn't transfer any of the IPS elements as they are not Elementals and while electric is good for crowd control it's just kind of unnecessary retaliation gives 30% midlee damage for every 200 Shields capping off at a 420 bonus with it being haved for overshields this sounds good until you just think of how easy it really is to get high damage numbers through conditioned overload and the really annoying requirement to proc it I honestly wouldn't recommend this one either now finally finally melee Vortex is literally cording 2.0 and probably my favorite Arcane of the bunch on kill of any enemy affected by magnetic there is a 45% chance all enemies within 18 M will be pulled in and this pull is aggressive please de give the magnetic status something like this even if it's weaker please building either your primer or a Dera which you should be using anyways for magnetic now gives you the benefits of its insane status generation four conditioned overload and an even better version of cordin consistently pulling in all enemies around you this and duplicate are by far the strongest in my opinion but that does it for this quick look at the new midl system update I may have one more video dropping tonight or tomorrow on the grimoire because rather unfortunately it's just
