War Thunder SIM - Hungarian Gripen - Quick Look

all right welcome back uh Hungarian grippin in the Italian tree uh I don't think it's much different to the uh I've only I've only flown the British well the South African one um but it does get two new Mavericks which we we'll have a look at but I don't think we'll spend that long looking at them so I have a preset where we can put either either one on so we get um the H which I think I like the D's um they got similar stats to the D's but they've got the TV contrast guidance instead of the infrared and then we've got the G's which look like um cuz these ones have got anti-tank heat um warheads and these are got semi Amor piercing high explosive I'm thinking these are more like for buildings and bunkers maybe I'm not actually sure buildings bunkers uh soft targets I could be wrong but they're infrared so I've got one of each um due to the unique way that War Thunder is programmed we don't have many um enemy targets to go after it's either a tank a ship or a red circle doesn't there aren't many options to go for um but we'll we'll give these a blast and then we'll have a go with the the M's the M sorry the M I'm not going to mess around with the dog shake missiles cuz they're just waste of time butth yeah we'll have a look at these and then we'll we'll we'll see what happens what could possibly go wrong where are we I think the G's are are better for uh buildings and soft targets possibly and the H's are obviously for anti-tank the heat component I don't know but um we'll see I should be able to see a bit closer but the any problem is I can't as soon as I start looking on the ground I get I get attacked by uh sweaty 15s but we'll see now so first of all we're going to have to press uh activate Target 7,000 times activate Target 7,000 times then switch to that and it did it did actually switch to that so okay I'm so it's over here somewhere okay so I'm I'm I should be pointing over here we'll we'll quickly try and uh slow down plane wants to climb up I can't fly level same old story so obviously they must be on the far side I'm not I'm just I'm just going to shoot at anything no I'm not in range not in range what about the C G's are they in range that one's in range um I try another one uh another one well that one fire no it went unbelievable so I hit I I might have hit something so what happened there was I fired two of the Mavericks and then the the computer switched it to it switched to the bloody side winders uh I don't know if anything hit then yes okay so I got one thing yes so I fired two Mavericks and then it switched to the side winders why would you do this now is my no it's not it's not still there okay so let us zoom out do that let's get out of here so that's a that was a bit easier than the uh the Frog foot triaa SHO know me so let's just run away okay so that's yeah Zs 37 and something else right let's just run away and uh Mission successful was that four no it was three so I missed one one of them missed um okay so this game has just the game is only 6 minutes Al so that's why I haven't been found yet so let's just run away there is an F-15 do we have one no F-15 F14 over there I'm just going to run away I'm guessing the one with higher pen would be better for tanks all round F15 F15 okay he's there look let's lock it wa we might be able to Des fide a missile okay that plane okay that plane just disappeared on me okay well I'm trying to uh to lock on with the M's but I'm getting attacked by something else really don't know why my the uh okay my radar doesn't uh say oh yeah there an enemy okay okay just say I need to run away though I'm not convinced with this r radar the radar was a bit weird in the South African one as well it's a lovely plane to fly though it's just the radar is not very intuitive I think I noticed that in the last version it doesn't I don't know something about it that's not quite right so yeah because I've got the the manual queue thing I just hover over it and it it does soft lock now so I don't know what they've done but they may have fixed that bit um but sometimes it just doesn't uh work so there is something there I can see it let us see if we can uh intercepted but yeah I will go to the a point if I survive this yeah so okay we'll see okay as my dampening turned itself off it did the dampening turned itself off this is definitely an enemy um unless that's a missile it's going pretty fast we'll see it's not locking is it an F15 okay that might reach I'm not sure we'll we'll lock lock another one no that was that was a a sweaty F-16 coming to our Airfield it was let's skir and sneak around to the a point okay F15 is appeared in front of me again the F-15 it looks like it's teleporting unless it's yeah I'm not seeing it it's right in front of me but I'm not seeing it is it that thing could be that thing there it could be that thing okay I was trying to get to the AO but I'm just getting uh inundated with uh Airfield campers so this must be here it must be this must be okay yeah inundated with Airfield campers so the the radar is struggling it's just disappeared doesn't it and reappeared okay okay try that again okay yeah F15 of our Airfield interesting yeah so there is an enemy here but I don't know where there radar warning F-15 yeah I couldn't hear the missile turn but that is an enemy okay let us get out of here I'm not going to stay in the a point this is another Point there's only there's only two of us I'm going to run away now some of these uh grippin had irst I don't know when they were introduced but uh the typhoon's got it now and uh I'm sure the grippin have it maybe the rafhael as well everybody's got it okay what's that that's a tree okay so engine volume gunfire radio speech I can turn the radar warning volume um but I can't I don't know what volume slider would would incorporate the uh the missile turn cuz I can't hear the blue thing don't I don't know yeah cuz I can't hear the missile turn I power it up I can hardly hear it um so what have we learned we've learned that um the Mavericks are all right but it's very difficult to use Mavericks in a 12.7 game this plane flies really really nicely uh the cockpits all right I'm not uh just like the South African one I don't know there there's something strange about the the the radar that I'm not I'm not clicking with I don't it's probably just me but it just feels a bit off I don't know what's wrong with it something wrong with it um and I can't uh I don't know how to turn the volume of the side Winder growl up but uh yeah it flies really nice but uh the dog the dog shite missiles are just there's no point putting them on in my opinion cuz if you're going head-to-head with someone else who's got the radar missiles they can fire twice as far away from you as you can so there is no point having them unless you're going bomber hunting obviously so I don't know F15 okay F15 somewhere where are you what are you on the ground okay that must be that must be it that must be it okay I find a missile I don't know if I was locked onto it or not but uh find out yeah we were okay I was lucky something else did I lock onto something else I don't know yeah so I I'm really don't it's a really nice plane to fly but I just don't like this game mode it's uh it is whoever whoever sees who first uh wins just like tanks uh whichever plane does not have a radar glitch usually comes out on top um yeah yeah safe f is nice it doesn't um if you've got dampening on it's not quite as maneuverable I've notice that it's uh but with dampening it's nice to fly straight but you need to turn it off if you're going to do some maneuvering because it doesn't it it does it well it dampens it dampens your uh Manu maneuverability so uh yeah nice I don't yeah I said before it's got nice weapons but um I don't know when you would use them the game mode isn't uh that interesting for ground attack at the moment but the plane is really nice um so the next thing what's after this uh Alpha jet we will try that later but in the meantime thanks for watching uh I'll see you later goodbye [Music] [Music]
