foreign my partner Sarah and I were known as the mirror Queens the first piece was a piece of furniture we bought and covered it with glass and then we said well maybe we should make our own designs and we started working with mirror and glass and then we made furniture with colored glass but not colored glass that you buy we painted underneath with a very special process so we ended up having everything produced and we had a big Factory downtown like that he goes to work every morning so did we and I kind of got to the point where I realized that I really like doing this and sometimes just moving a wall six inches or raising a certain part of the ceiling made a big difference so architecture became very important to me nothing in this house is normal [Music] foreign ly influenced by Japanese architecture and actually everything Japanese I bought Japanese doors and screens just because they're beautiful I just don't understand cabinets opening up and hitting them in the face they're called summer winter doors in Japan I think that most of the things in the house are either my own or from people that I love and have known they're no Library fillers here at Pierre Charro and Bauhaus and I have a lot of Frank Erie because he's a very old friend and we did work together I did this chair and it looks incredibly uncomfortable it was in one exhibition and different people were coming through I would have them sit on the chair and it was wonderful they'd sit down they'd go oh it's it's really comfortable so it is called a pony chair because the legs have a shape like the back of a pony I think I do the best bathrooms this is an early Frank Stella Frank Stella's first print shouldn't be in here it looks okay and this is a brilliant portrait of Me by one of my daughters I must have been pregnant I guess I don't find it attractive to sit and brush my teeth next to somebody I don't know why people want to have a 20 million dollar home and they're standing by each other brushing their teeth I just don't get it but maybe maybe I'm unusual I'm sure there's another house in me still I'm waiting for the next call yeah
