[Music] hey there vendors welcome to versus short the theories where I take two characters and set them against each other and open combat today we will pit una lock of the Northern Water Tribe against minghua the waterbender from the Red Lotus this video I will be observing these characters as shown in the Legend of Korra TVs here book two and three respectively this round is a bit unfair if will lock and ming-hua were without water and we were judging purely on the basis of their physical prowess minghua is at a massive disadvantage she was born with no arm and could only make herself combative ly viable with the use of her water bin man just as top could only make herself combative ly able to earth but as it stands this round highlights the pure physical capabilities of each character to which una law a middle-aged man who was in perfect health gives the decisive edge what a lot tends to be underestimated for his bidding power because of his subtlety his bending wasn't always the largest or most dominating but definitely precise and minimal only using large amounts of water as a finisher rather than an opening gambit his greatest achievement was the spirit bending of course able to specify and controlled our experience but in a vendor versus bender scenario this has no application outside the spirit world he was definitely a master water vendor creating massive water spouts which I staggered and all the other talents that come with a territory taking on multiple opponents as well as the avatar much like talks Ming logs disability actually enhance your ability with her respective elements as she was more reliant on it where most water benders needed the physical movement of their arms to achieve their waterbending attack meanwhile only use her torso and her hip asserting at peace and intimate control of the element because of this she was quite possibly the best practitioner of the waterways technique the strength of her webs were such that she could carry herself and pulley without breaking her connection and the dexterity of her webs were such that her physical agility was greatly in hand while owner Locke was a master waterbender who was ultimately aware of the flow and connection of waters he does not live with it like Ming lodges for Oona locks water was a tool whelming Wong use it as a livelihood in a contest of water even if we don't lock does manifest an advantage meanwhile we'll still come back with more and more strength much like her fight with kya and the northern air temple but warlock would not be dominated by being Wong in the same way he was not dominated by Korra he has displayed that he can deal with multiple attack vectors using instance so Ming waz octopus technique would not be a total trump card in short I think they are effectively equal as water bannermen but the slight edge is determined by the connection to water each of them has and with that mean wall has the advantage and a blow for blow contest of water between the two that my new connection will be the slide determining factors and about decided by engine Ming wall gives the slight edge or bending abilities [Music] it might be easier to say that it would a lot clearly defeating wall by way of the transitive property after all he beat the combined strength of ma : bolin while meanwhile was defeated by ma : his own however the issue with the transitive property with regards to Proctor's and fight especially with regards to water vendors is a lack of variables and circumstances that are calculated within it Ming hua was defeated for three reasons location location location water benders are perhaps the most circumstantial fighters in the series Ming hua had no way to replenish the water that was evaporated by ma KO and when she overcompensated with a cavern lake she was simply electrocuted and the same would have occurred had una logs on himself in the same situation both were lucky and meanwhile were highly tactical fighters as most water burners were using their defense to flow into their often when the lock was certainly in the more defensive fighter of the two and a meanwhile was more inclined for aggression but when a lock was perhaps the most viable in a technical sense picking apart his opponent through new on countering the result rather than getting caught up in his own because of this I feel as though he gives himself more options in combat Ming hua does not simply throw caution to the wind but the nature of her bending requires time boy in movies centered around her hips the function again the difference between the two is minimal but in this regard wooden lock has the advantage with more options to exploiting in some wall whether by wave as water with ice daggers environmental manipulation or freeform waterbending what a lot gives the slight edge for his tactical ability [Music] you [Music] if these two former allies ever met an open conflict if one along survived and meanwhile escaped prison who will come out on top let's set up this fight let's say it takes place in the southern water tribe village 'as the following is a hypothetical explanation of the possible outcome and the early fight ice evening wall taking a 1 a 0 advantage not so much because in a lock will be outright dominated but because meanwhile we'll start out more aggressive while he would take a measure of her so I find this to be an unlikely scenario it would unlock attempts to meet that aggression with his own he will be in for a losing battle in the mid fight it would be more equal with a two to two split will Lockwood quickly realize that his physical advantage will be completely negated by mean laws waterbending which enhances her dexterity but his superior ability to pick apart as opponents would bridge the gap even with me noit's octopus form he be able to subvert her with ice daggers and walls but like a proper water vendor she would retaliate in kind empowering herself through naloxone water-based attacks in the late light I see wound law taking a three to one advantage with his greater use of his environment being a key factor meanwhile focuses on using her entire body and her whips nippy her foes but hardly ever manipulates the environment to her advantage this could simply be explained by her nature of her specific brand of no arm bending she is required to make large movements to compensate rather than alter her surrounding area she was a top to your user of the water wood technique but that was it never displaying any other skill besides water spots of all the scenarios I see this ending in the late fight so when Allah would likely be taken aback by Ming log initial assault mostly due to his more measured approach to a fight he would turn the fight to his favor the longer the engagement last year making superior use of his environment with subtle but deadly execution meanwhile would not make it easy for agility was quite substantial especially in rocket was formed wooden lock would not overtake her by way of a water whip in fact if he tries to tackling I see him losing in the early or mid fight but I find it more likely for una lock to catch her with a nice backer to the chest and a long-form battle and thought after a five to ten advantage with a late fight edge who Noir the chief of the north will be the most likely victor of course this is all my opinion based on the lore of avatar do you agree that loon lock will take a majority victory or do you believe the Red Lotus waterbenders is the most likely victory let me know in the comments below and as always Keys love and be water my friend [Music]
