Volkswagen Caddy Conversion (UNDER $300!)

[Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] thank you [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] thank you foreign [Music] this beauty of a car is a 2007 Volkswagen Caddy I bought it a couple of months ago to use it as a work car and quickly realized I needed to do something about it the cargo space was just an empty shell and there were no shelves or drawers so all of my tools screws clothes and the hardware were just thrown around when I was driving the plan for this conversion was to make it optimal for my work stuff but I also wanted to have the option of using it as a camper van I can just barely fit if I lay straight in the cargo space to sleep Nicole diagonally I actually have pretty good space so who knows maybe I'll take this car out for a road trip I was kind of torn as I was building this project because I wanted it to look nice but still I didn't want to waste a whole lot of money on this since it was going to be mainly a work car that is why I used cheap plywood for the drawers which cost 25 dollars per sheet instead of regular nicer plywood which would cost 75 dollars per sheet at least here in Norway the total cost of this build including all of the plywood and all of the hardware and drawers lights it's just under 300 which I think is a pretty decent price I still need to make some adjustments like adding some sort of lock on the drawers now they are just loose which is a bit annoying when I'm driving so if you have some good suggestions for Hardware I could use for this please leave them in the comment section below I also want to add some Corner guards on the back edge of the flooring other than that the car is pretty much done and ready to be used foreign [Music] [Music] I will leave a link down in the description and so that's it for this video thank you so much for watching stay tuned for the next one where I'll be making an outdoor dining table so I'll see you in the next video bye-bye [Music]
