i have never seen this ever i don't know anything about it i know that it's about villains also i know it has dove cameron in it and i really like dove cameron but that's it so this is gonna be super working out is very healthy it just seems so out of place in the background of this room i'm bored give me the villains [Music] they say i'm trouble they say i'm bad they say i'm evil and that [Music] this is a banger this is so good i love it this is very sad though the implications of this island that they were banished and all of these people are now living in the slums that's terrible this kingdom just said i don't want to see you people and then just put them on an island by themselves they should revolt i want to start a political uprising against this kingdom it's not okay i'm glad that these kids get to go out of this island though although they say they're wrong to the core but that's exciting i love it this kingdom sounds boring yes a dance [Music] number [Music] this is legit i love it [Laughter] that's terrible dove give that back stealing candy man okay i did know she was in this she looks great how often does kristin chenwood play a villain has she ever played a villain before look at kristen's eyes they're mesmerizing it's all about world domination knuckleheads she's a good villain i like her also dove looks great with purple hair find the fairy godmother and you will bring me back her magic wand fine whatever i win evie hold on i'm wearing jeans why am i wearing jeans to watch you guys don't know that i'm wearing jeans why i should be wearing sweatpants anyway first of all the evil queens costume it's not as good as maleficent's it's not as good as any of them actually it's not great i'm i'm bummed about that the kids costumes though super good also i don't know what just happened like their eyes were glowing is that like a magical thing were they having a staring contest because it kind of seemed more like just whoever broke eye contact first carlos they have dogs in auradon oh no i'm not going oh is he scared of dogs i'm not going either i need him to stock the shelves in my store he does not have jafar energy people used to cower at the mention of our names disney really knew that descendants was gonna be a hit because the budget in this movie is so much higher than other dcoms like the set right now maleficent's costume alone that's probably the entire budget of xenon girl of the 21st century right there in her costume this is your magic mirror no it ain't what it used to be then again neither are we wait whoa whoa evil queen is that the witch from hocus pocus oh my gosh it is i knew it oh i love her the future of the free world rests on your shoulders don't blow it no pressure all right i'm gonna make a prediction we love a good love story and every disney channel original movies gotta have a little bit of a love story they're really focusing in on mal she's gonna fall in love with the prince who was getting fitted for that soup saying it right now they're gonna fall in love they've got to oh these it's salty like nuts but it's sweet like i don't know what this is a problem in the kingdom in the slums they've never even had candy before like the kingdom just banished them and then didn't give them any sort of like funding what about social programs like what is going on in that island like they don't have the resources they're probably not being very well educated and so of course they're gonna perpetuate the same things that their parents did here we are the vicious cycle of poverty it just happened it's a yellow brick road that animation green screen it's not too bad it's a lot better than once upon a time it's green screen this is so cute [Music] they're all wearing cardigans that's how you know they're good the fairy godmother as in bippity boppity boo bippity age backwards that was a long time ago and as i always say don't focus on the past but you'll miss the future that's good advice this is audrey princess audrey this girlfriend right benny boo benny boo this is a momentous occasion they're gonna fall in love called it hi ho evie evil queen's daughter safety rules for the internet and uh remedial goodness 101. remedial goodness hold on did he say that was a new class let me guess new class oh okay cause i was gonna say for a school that's supposed to be full of really good people like if you're a good person you don't need to be like told or taught how to be good you just are good but he said it was a new class so yes because of the cycle of their parents these villains children should probably be taught like how to be good that's great they gave them a new class maybe next they'll give the slums some funding this is our one chance to prove ourselves to our parents girl you've been here for like three hours you got time it sounds like there needs to be a little bit of family therapy i think all around but specifically mal and her mom she says she wants to prove herself to her mom maybe some high expectations that she feels she can't meet they need to talk it out do they have chaperones or come on like residential advisors you know ras [Music] i guess if the entire school is full of good people then maybe they don't need them but that can't be the point of the movie right that people are just good and bad that's just not how people work we're gonna find out let me let me add another prediction not only is mal gonna fall in love with the prince i predict the prince is gonna do it first actually the prince is gonna fall in love with her but the moral of the story is that we have goodness in all of us and we don't have to follow in our parents footsteps we can break that that toxicity that that cycle you know we can break that i am 23 minutes into the episode and talking about some deep stuff i want them to sing again though is it wrong is it right be a thief in the night mother oh i'm so excited [Laughter] don't be so serious darling i was once like you my child slightly hmm what now she's here in a different outfit she looks great even better in all black love it what i use my i love christian channels now i think it's time you learned what dear old mama said don't you wanna be evil oh oh god i almost fell out of a chair hold on sorry i'm gonna need you to do that again kristin here's the mood change don't you wanna be evil like me don't you wanna be me don't you wanna make mistake your daily routine [Music] i love that they wrote this for kristen it's in the sweet spot in her voice we know kristin chenoweth is a pint-sized soprano powerhouse she is a super high soprano she has the range of like an angel she's singing right now in her head voice so like the middle to upper range in her voice actually since her range is so big this is probably just right in the middle but it's still her head voice and she's allowing a lot of vibrato to come through it's really pretty and i like the way that she's taking this beautiful soprano sound that we normally associate with like disney princesses and making it really spooky and creepy i like it build my master plan now the time if i was dub cameron sitting here and kristen chenoweth was just around me singing i'd have the same look on my face this is so cool [Music] [Applause] [Music] mal all of a sudden is just on board like that whole song up until now she was just sitting there like now all of a sudden she's like yeah for sure want to be evil mal's character development i need to know more about her she doesn't seem like she wants to follow in her mother's footsteps i want mal to like live her own life [Music] it's a g5 damn kristin i found the wand let's go did you make what what are they trying to tell me was that real was that in mal's head was it magic is it going right over my head i don't know i'm lost [Music] we saw that coming they need a new guard for this museum he's wildly incompetent [Music] this is like the perfect movie for me because i always always root for the villain what are these cheerleading uniforms they have like cheerleading skirts but then just like a t-shirt that's not cute [Music] oh he's hopeless he's already so into her forbidden love i love it i'd rather be pretty you've got great hair beware or swear replace the old with brand new hair oh look at her wow you almost don't notice your other features anymore mal what the is that supposed to mean i love a villain and i know that you like being bad mal that was rude that was straight up mean we don't stand for that here do my nose i've been practicing but you know i can't do really big magic not like your mom i'm sorry whoa what is happening are we as an audience supposed to think that this girl is ugly this gorgeous girl i can't stand for this do her nose her nose is beautiful you know she used magic on cinderella who wasn't even her real daughter doesn't she love you i didn't like that interaction i like her new hair but she needs confidence building which mr delay would give us 107.9 ammo i forget always a mistake to underestimate a villain don't make it again oh yikes oh don't don't go no no no no evie no if a strange boy you've never met sends you a note that says meet me under the bleachers do not go this is a psa to everybody do not go [Music] why is carlos afraid of dogs doesn't his mom love dogs like love them a little too much you know she loves them so much she wants to kill and kill them carlos this is dude he's the campus mug he doesn't look like a vicious rabbit back animal we're all having character development today this is like the second day they've been there right i guess you guys have it pretty rough on the island yeah let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs oh this kingdom is effed up guys messed up this prince better bring about some change that's what i want to see don't you really nailed that chemistry problem today you're gonna have all the nerds in love with you if i ask it or something is it tells me this is like a secret don't tell him i'd really like to talk but i'm just swamped unless unless if you could knock all my homework out along with yours i knew it i mean men are trash in general and i'm sorry to say teenage boys have a tendency to be trash i'm sorry to all the teenage boys out there prove me wrong oh he's manipulating her oh oh i'm so mad hey guys i'm lani my mom's mulan they all have to introduce who their parents are this is really funny guys you can have identities outside of your parents [Music] whoa there's the rest of that budget it was just that transition i don't like the implication that you have to have long hair to be cool or beautiful both of these girls with shorter like cute bobs now suddenly have like long curly hair i mean i say this knowing full well that that is how i like to do my hair so i think it's pretty but i don't like that i don't like that is it true that we all get to go to your coronation yeah the whole school goes and your girlfriend yeah i'm sorry okay thanks oh the plan is brewing seduce him mouth i need a love spell i didn't expect this it says that we need one tier of human sadness and this love potion gets the best reviews so we have to follow it exactly midnight snack huh what you guys making nothing special just cookies that's weird you should not just do that probably has like a toad in it or something didn't your moms ever make you guys like chocolate chip cookies and they're fresh from the oven with the big old glass of milk and she just makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective and this is really sad even villains love their kids oh that's heavy yeah well big bummer but we have to get these into the oven so thanks thanks lani bye sure it starts with the hair next thing you know it's the lips and the legs and the clothes and then everybody looks good and then where will i be audrey you're awful i just made a batch of cookies double chocolate chip do you want one you're cautious that's smart oh well more for me i guess no no hey right in the trap it's singing your name this is so wrong but i love it nice little block by carlos okay i want to see carlos's dance again that was really funny i love it 23 seconds left i'm bored where's the rest of the music i need songs [Music] he's got a good voice but the reverb on his voice is a little weird like it doesn't sound like an echo and so i wonder if they were trying to make it sound like he's singing into a mic and like make it sound more authentic but it sounds really tinny so i don't really understand [Music] my love is [Music] that is a powerful cookie although he already liked her beforehand we know we saw it gotta know which way to go come on the whole tourney team is getting into this you know that song from like high school musical too the i don't dance and i can't remember his name but he's saying he doesn't dance because he plays basketball these guys just immediately they're like oh yeah oh yeah we dance and i love [Music] so he just jumped on the horse mascot which is clearly two people in a horse costume okay okay just take a second to understand the logistics of what's going on inside this horse guard so the top half is a person standing okay the bottom half is somebody bent over so he is on someone's shoulders while they're bent over like on their neck can you imagine how uncomfortable that was for them oh man that's so funny why did they make him do that mom will you go to the corn agent with me yes i feel like if she were talented like you and she knew how to sew and new beauty tips that she wouldn't need prints to make her feel better about herself i guess i am kind of talented you are definitely that's the energy we need from these friends thank you chad it's gratifying to see someone still respects the honor code [Music] it will be my recommendation that you are expelled the words that were about to come out of my mouth guys i will not lie were somebody needs to murder him i thought better of it and then i thought i'll just say it okay no he doesn't need to be murdered but somebody has got to take care of him what a piece of trash oh i'm so mad why is he so mean to her she didn't do anything to you she did your homework i bet i can get an a on the next test without the mirror yeah well maybe we can get together she's my mom so i know she loves me in her own way this is sad this is horrible i know he's under a love spell but it's so cute but they dressed up to go on a hike in the woods also safety tip never go on a hike in the woods as your first date with a guy that you just met never do that is this your first time eating a jelly doughnut is it bad just uh i mean yeah do this fun you can't take me anywhere i guess that was so freaking adorable do you think they highlighted his hair for this movie specifically or do you think he highlights his hair just like that just wondering but we're not automatically like that we get to choose who we're going to be true and right now i can look into your eyes and i can tell you're not evil sing to us a male thoughts keep listening cause up till now raised by fairies because of your mother's curse mirror mirror in my hand who's the biggest jerk in the land uh-oh it's bad news this isn't their fault no son it's yours this movie is a master class on how to be a terrible parent and a terrible leader my gosh how long does she think that's gonna last now it's just the bad girl infatuation yeah i mean he's never gonna make a villain a queen fairy godmother's daughter what i'm getting really mad [Music] excuse me who do you think you are do i look like i'm kidding [Music] let's grab that wand and blow this popsicle stand let's blow this what you think oh man maleficent who would have thought that was pretty bad cgi falling in love is weak [Music] ridiculous oh god that's not what you want mom have you ever once asked me what i want i'm not you oh obviously i've had years and years and years and years of practice being evil you'll get there no i will not and i really wish that you had never gotten there yourself love is not weak i agree with that love is not weak maybe good really is more powerful than evil oh please you're killing me you all will i thought maleficent had a dragon not that she could turn into a dragon it's a pretty cool cgi dragon leave my friends alone it's between you and me mother this is such a good movie the strength of evil is good as none when stand before four hearts this one [Music] damn her lashes are long i mean they're probably extensions but they are really long she shrank to the size of the love in her heart that's why it's so itty-bitty itty-bitty i like the fairy godmother's voice you learn to love so couldn't she and i believe this [Music] belongs to you they're in love next time i rescue you okay yeah let's not let there be a next time okay we took care of it prince don't worry she's beautiful you are beautiful thank you mo inside and out your mom got that right i guess i did get pretty lucky in the mother department yeah i guess so mal just turned her mom into a lizard and that i mean that is some trauma that we need to talk about right now hey hello careful it's my mom well let's get this party started [Applause] so what happened the barrier only maleficent could get out dancing free kenny ortega outdid himself for this movie the choreography is so good [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that's a little weird a little fiddler in the fiddler on the roof for me [Music] [Applause] they need to kiss the love story needs a kiss [Applause] [Music] damn carlos can dance i do like this song but it is a little repetitive like i need more than this chorus kiss are you gonna do it i was having so much fun i almost forgot you didn't think this was the end of the story did you oh they knew disney knew this was gonna be a banger they planned the sequel final thoughts loved it really liked it really enjoyed that it was two hours long and i've been like loving it sitting right here i liked the rotten to the core song like that was just such a jam i liked the tone it set for the episode not the episode the movie i like that one but maybe my favorite song would be if only was that what it was called that mal sang in the middle that was really pretty i
