Vibrant Spring Gravels of the Yellowstone! #rockhounding

Lola and I are heading down to the river today got Lola instead of Chopper because I need to teach her some Wilderness skills Lola is Chopper's little sister so come along for our adventure [Music] what you doing Lola some Beaver uh Beaver chop wood right there look at this one hiding hiding over here in the grass oh that's so [Music] nice oh it's like nice quartz pockets on both sides with that banding that white banding around it oh that's pretty okay this looks like a pretty nice agot dendritic agot oh look at the banding on the side Sun keeps Morning Sun keeps going in and out but that is really pretty oh look at that side oh that's so nice really nice okay you never have to Discount the water you always have to look in the water cuz that looks Agy oh my gosh oh sun come out come out look at that red and white blue oh this is oh this is unbel an unbelievable agot oh I love this one oh that's so nice gosh that is that is a nice agot oh my hands are freezing that water is cold my hands are so red that is a nice agot big guy too okay this is very colorful petrified agatized Jasper IED wood I can't wait to spray this off oh oh look at that wow it's almost like it has some hematite in there a love this piece all right so I see a smaller size rock that has some potential banding on it wondering if you see it maybe this one yeah it's got It's got a little bit of banding on there looks like kind of looks like a sponge OT or but doesn't quite make the cut okay I'm seeing something that I want to spray off probably saying spray them all off look at this look at all those polka dots in there wow that's very very unique really nice pattern there look at this petrified wood wow this is look at the pattern on this side look at that fantastic boy hey The Morning Sun is lighting this one up I see it's a smaller size but oh it's be has some beautiful banding wondering if you can see it from here check this out oh look at that banding oh that's very that's that is gorgeous at that all right I've just sprayed this off but I really like the banding in it look at this okay see if you can see that banding some like blue in there interesting you see that red red jasper red purple yellow green can't tell how fractured this is spray it off looks like it might have some some nice red inside a little fractured but still pretty might be able to make some cuts out of that check out this green Jasper green yellow look at that that is gorgeous okay I see see another green green Jasper here Jasper here lots of pieces of pretty agatized wood in here that petrified wood look at that pattern on there that is nice Jasper what am I going to spray off here okay it's very very small but look at the fortification banding there check out this petrified wood okay I just picked up this colorful petrified wood and spraying It Off that is awesome have a feeling this going to be nice oh yeah okay maybe some banding [Music] here not super sure so let's spray it off oh yeah oh yeah look at that oh yeah oh yeah look at that fortification banding wow really nice okay been spraying this off but this is this is a really pretty Jasper got brickie Jasper wow that red is really beautiful lots of agatized areas can't get that totally cleaned off [Applause] but that's incredible little Jasper pretty sure this agot's going to be colorful you can see like yellow orange with the dark darker color next to it yeah that's going to be a nice one nice one for sure beautiful Crystal pocket lots of contrast in color oh look it look at the color color in here it's like 60 degrees I think is Lola okay I've already sprayed these two little pieces off but I wanted to show you because they're really pretty and then let's take a look at the other one that that a red in there see an agot with a quartz pocket on it but it looks like it has a lot of green and blue lot of color oh yeah oh goodness look at that that Mossy green that is wow really nice see a lot of orange yellow agot with some white very intense color that's very pretty it's just a little piece but it's kind of fractured it's a shame sometimes agots have white coloring on them on the top helps you spot them look at that little bit of gorgeous look at this Jasper that one's coming with me okay see if you can find find the agot here look at that that's a pretty one I like the Bots like the dendroides I like the mouth this is a crazy Jasper I've been washing off right here wow look at that green that is nice Lola come good girl Floy and colorful a nice kind spongy aot Jasper oh it looks like a bunch of stuff in there maybe maybe some I don't know can't tell right now if that's some straty banding or some chy banding it's pretty though all right look at the I I can see some banding on here I'm not sure if it's a good agot yet but straight off it has some really great oh yeah oh yeah it has some plume plumey inclusions and wonderful banding wow that's great nice okay wondering if you can see the very colorful agatized petrified wood look at that that is worth weighing down backpack all right everyone uh the wind's coming in in pretty strong right now storm's coming in so I'm going to
