Vega XT off-road teardrop camper by Cedar Ridge campers

foreign [Music] hey everyone this is Tristan with Cedar Ridge campers we're out here on the Beautiful January afternoon here in Kentucky we're at the Land Between the Lakes here we have one of our demo trailers it's a Vega XT which has quite a few options pretty much has most of the options on it so we'll show you guys around it we changed up just a couple things on our design and so we'll show you guys around this trailer we're going to start up here at the front this trailer has our 95 liter Rome box mounted on the front here it also has the removable mounts that Rome has as well so you can easily remove this box as well as locking it down this is just a extra storage for gear you can throw hot dog sticks up there small lawn chairs what have you just an extra little storage area up front here on the tongue we have our custom front storage box this is a Foley aluminum TIG welded box that we build in-house open it up here inside it can house up to a 55 liter Dometic refrigerator it's on 500 pound drawer slides that lock in and out also inside the box is a 12 volt receptacle to plug in your refrigerator moving along this side here all of our trailers come standard with a 30 by 36 inch door a lot of Manufacturers put the smaller door in but we like the bigger door for the ease of access getting in and out um up top is our roof rack this is our standard roof rack it can hold up to 500 pounds so you can put a rooftop tent up there also just mention our porch lights we really like these porch lights they shine down and just light up your Fender without shining in your eyes also down here you can see your your water hookup which runs into the water heater and shower we'll show you guys that as we come along down this side this is our water heater shower option so we have it hooked into our sink right now just to show you guys how it works so basically your your pressurized water comes out right here and there's a switch in the back which you turn your water pump on it goes into your your Camp flux water heater here and then it comes out the heated water comes out and then it can quickly Connect into the sink down there maybe I'll move around over here so you can have pressurized hot water at your sink so a lot of you guys want to wanted to see that and then this is we just have it drain it out on the ground here now through this hose but you can either put a five gallon bucket down there one of them blue seven gallon jugs or whatever you have to drain your water into here out on these rocks just stopped and you can just drain it out into the ground it won't make a muddy mess but if you're concerned about you know mud around your camper or you know getting soap and stuff into the environment it'd be a good idea to put maybe a bucket or something down there this also is our two burner partner stove that is the stove that comes standard on our stove sink combo also on the stove sink coma there is a little compartment here to store all your hoses all right moving around here to the back we have our Galley lid open already so show you guys this is our red Arc power system and also you probably noticed we changed up our Cabinetry a little bit so used to we had a just a big drawer down here and then just an open space on top between the two cabinets and then we had our Electronics behind that we found that on the XT shorter people for sure they had a little bit of issues reaching their electronics and their switches so we moved that out and also with the drawer we were finding that if you have stuff on your countertop here when you pull the drawer open it just kind of got in the way so we took care of them two issues by this redesign of this Cabinetry and we think it turned out really nice so all your switches and USBS electronics are all on this face now and then you just have your standard two cabinets on both sides and then a cubby in the middle both cabinets have adjustable shelving they're about 14 inches deep and about 20 inches wide so you can get a lot of plates and pots and pans inside there also the Shelf up top here you can store pretty much you know anything that can fit in this area and when the galley lid closes it also keeps everything contained up there so I can often what we'll do is put like either bread up there or chips or you know something down that line and the galley lid will hold it all up top and uh we don't have them in here right now but what we have done on these trailers with the cubby down here is you just put a couple baskets down in here they fit really nice to hold you know whatever you have to put in baskets let's talk about the electronics on this trailer a little bit this is our red ARC Power System it is a new system that we're starting to offer so basically this is the interface and you can program soft keys on here basically to turn your turn switches on and off also it has all your battery percentages as well as the water gauge is all built into that so let's turn on the lights here so we have here's your water pump you can turn your water pump off and on back here as well as the refrigerator that's how we usually configure it and then this one has the under trailer lighting and the galley lighting since we have started offering the red Arc system we've had a lot of customers ask what exactly the red Arc does for me to justify the cost because it is a substantial upgrade so basically what we have been installing in the trailers is the red Arc red Vision with manager 30. and basically the manager 30 is your charge controller and that charge controller basically it embodies a a DC to DC charger so you can charge it off your vehicle that's one of the biggest advantages of it compared to just our normal power system because on our normal power system you could not charge the lithium battery off your vehicle now with the manager 30 you can it has a DC to DC charger so we can hook it up to your vehicle so you can charge your battery while you're traveling via your seven pin it also has the solar charge controller built into it as well as the shore power charge controller and basically this the display back here then controls that and basically it'll show you all your inputs and your outputs how much you're drawing it'll give you how much longer you have on your battery it's just a lot more of informational display so you have a lot you know a lot more what's going on with your your battery system another thing with the red Arc red Vision system it can connect up to your phone via Bluetooth so you can turn you know your lights off and on with that as well as check your battery percentage and your water tank level [Music] so moving along to this side we have our full-size spare tire and let's just talk a little bit about the tires standard on the XT is a 285 75 R16 it's a 33 inch tire on a generally we have a pro comp wheel this one is an upgraded wheel we put on here but the lug pattern on the XT is a six on five and a half so it will match any of your Toyotas pretty much in Ford I believe here down here is our shore power hookup that is to plug in to charge either via Shore power or you can hook it up so it'll run your short power plugs on the inside if you do not have the inverter in this side here we have our pantry drawer it's just a big deep drawer we have found that having a drawer here instead of just a storage area you can store your stuff a lot more efficiently so we often keep we call it our pantry drawer because we often store Pantry type items in here but you can you know store whatever you have to put in there foreign here on the inside of our campers I'm sitting on the mattress and we have about 41 inches of Headroom inside so there's plenty of room to sit up inside standard in all of our campers I'm in the front corner here we have a little shelf for your phone to charge your phone on there's a little USB on the side of the reading light there to plug in a USB up front also there's a cup holder the standard in on each side of our cabin as well as here's the remote for the upgraded vent fan also we have our large two foot by three foot Stargazer window with a retractable shade shade just pulls down like that for privacy as well as for sleeping in in the morning it's not a Total Blackout Shade but it does definitely cut back on the light quite a bit so all of our campers have a full queen size bed inside so it's 58 inches wide and 78 inches long in here here we have our standard cabinets inside they're about 14 inches deep and about 20 inches wide and then we have a big cubby here in the middle to throw stuff up on uh I have a switch on each side for the porch lights this is your overhead lights um what you have dimmers as well um Shore power plug and this runs if you have an inverter also you would have have a plug on the inside here just a 110 plug we have USBS and a 12 volt plug up here so you know if you want to charge your computer or tablet you can set it up here on the Shelf also another thing that some customers have done is Mount just a RAM mount up here so if you want to watch a movie or something in the evening you can mount your tablet up here and you also have access to a USB there to charge it overhead LED lighting we put warm LED lighting in all of our trailers and it's all on dimmers so you can dim it
