Vampires & Thieves in Slab City!!

[Music] I think we're going to have to be a little patient err so this morning I have the incredible loss of finding a propane refrigerator expert on the slab so we are trying to get my refrigerator working for the first time in a year and a half and I'm actually kind of excited because it sounded like it was about to light working like it pilot letting it go into my pilot light lit it is going go plane you are amazing this is the first time in a year and a half I've owned this trailer it's ever worked on propane you are awesome well now we've got it going you know how it works no not really okay this is your temperature can chill alright mmm what is it this is odd when it's going this way this is the gas valve the main one all right if you turn it that way it will shut the gas off all right going to work in order to line it push this one hot if the spark thing worked I don't know if it works or not that anyway hold that put your lighter in in here and you liked a little fire down there all right and you hold this about 30 seconds it should stay on there is to it and so when I'm moving I should turn it off and is it okay all right this fear is the most awesome propane refrigerator guy ever his name's vampire Wayne do you have anything to say even no vampires don't talk very much and they don't take very good pictures easy he said well work with that kind of a camera well they didn't work because they had to silver it oh that's right that's right I can see myself in awesome alright so it's been a few hours since vampire Wayne did this Chuck and everything and it turns out that the propane lines just needed to be bled so the refrigerator worked fine all along but there was a lot of air in the lines since obviously have unhooked a bottle and refilled it before so Yanni gave me a little tutorial so man am I ever happy to met a vampire Wayne so this was like the key the the very last key to my boondocking was having refrigeration which I haven't had for a year and a half because yeah nobody can get the fridge to work simply because no propane came out right away and everyone thought that the line was plugged but yeah this guy knew exactly what he was doing nice in the very beginning and and it was not an issue so me an a my like so happy right now and I have to say I have probably had like the quintessential you know slabber experience here having that like all these great people so like wherever I go you know I'm meeting like really cool people so [Music] [Music] over here on the fall [Music] sadly this morning somebody stole our neighbors solar panels so he had left it out well pretty much 24/7 he leaves it out and someone came over and cut the little cord going into his battery and stole his panels so that was really sad and well there was a pair of footprints that came directly from over there up right up to where the panel was and went right back again so that there he is but it's odd camp over here had stolen the panel and they're actually like in the middle of the night like up until like 10 11 12 o'clock at night they're running a really loud ass generator and and they have this big huge light over the top of the entire camp and yeah so everyone's like oh they're meth heads and bava bava tuna yeah I you know and there's nothing I would like to see more than a thief get caught and thrown in jail I just hate these [Music] [Music] so I saw some pictures inside of one of these tanks I don't know which one it is but there's photographs of where I saw photographs of these like beautiful artwork of you know these women and it's similar to the artwork it's same artists who painted on water's tanks over there so yeah I need to get up inherent and look inside here so there is a this one shaky ass ladder right here I'm going to give it I'm going to give it a shot [Music] oh man that was a sketchy-ass ladder sorry for the shaky camerawork up there but yeah I didn't want to climb all the way up onto the lip I didn't scratch myself pretty good on that ladder but hello it is what it is so yeah so clearly this was not the one I think it's the one right there [Music] I'm still looking for the tank with the images of the beautiful women in it so I've come over here open to my tape now I've already looked at these two so there's just one left [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] have to be careful because I don't want to fall in there's like no way back out if you fall in at least for me right over here not too far from the water tanks as the Pet Sematary and yeah it's really sad and when I come here I can just think about mr. PD yeah there's so many so many loved little beings right here [Music]
