VacMaster PRO350 & PRO380 Vacuum Sealers Review

hey guys this is Austin with walton's TV and welcome to our vac master Pro 350 and pro 380 vacuum sealer reviews at Waltons Inc com vacmaster makes a high quality and professional-grade vacuum sealer and two of their higher-end non chambered vacuum sealers are the pro 350 and the pro 380 both of these units are very similar and have almost the same specs design and features so the review for these is best done as one overall review when you're ready to purchase though remember to head over to Waltons ink comm for the best prices on vac master vacuum sealers plus some of the lowest prices out there on vacuum sealer bags and accessories as well just start off with the looks and the design on these units are really sleek we got a lot of stainless steel here so it looks great plus it makes them super easy to clean it's definitely a product thick me left out on your kitchen kitchen counter and not feel like an eyesore in the room each unit comes with a free 11 inch by 50 foot vacuum bag roll plus 6 quart size bags and an accessory hose the biggest difference between these two units is the size that are the same depth and the height at 14 inches deep and 6.5 inches high where they differ is that the pro 350 is 14 inches wide and the pro 380 is 19 inches wide the pro free the pro 350 allows you to use vac bags up to 11 or 12 inches wide while the larger Proheat pro pro 380 allows bags up to about 15 to 16 inches wide in my opinion that's really what it comes down to between these two units if you're trying to decide which one to buy if you don't need to seal bags that are 15 inches wide by the pro 350 and you'll be happy with it if you think you might ever want to seal those larger bags then definitely go with the pro 380 they both also do have a dual piston vacuum pump which uses about 720 watts of power which is really pretty good for a small machine like these two they both pull an excellent vacuum as well the next two things I really like about these vacuum sealers are first the wide seal they both have a 5 mil seal wire which gives a really nice and wide and consistent seal they both do a great job of sealing bags and the seal looks awesome when it's done the next thing that I really like about these vacuum sealers is there's a large compartment on the back here it's plenty big to store a full roll of vacuum sealer bag rolls plus there's added room that I've also been using it to store like the power cords and the owner's manual you simply press the two buttons on the side and flip it open to access whatever you want to store inside the storage compartment is really one of my favorite things about these units and it's something different from other similar vacuum sealers out there on the market other features to make a quick note of or that each unit is fan cooled there's a fan on the left side here it just is gonna help prevent overheating and make them really a heavy-duty machine capable of withstanding extended uses in providing an overall lifetime on the product the lid on each unit is also then transparent which is really nice and convenient for making sure that the end of your bag is actually properly placed in the unit before vacuuming and sealing and we also have a built-in cutter which is used for creating your custom sized vacuum bags from your vacuum bag rolls now let's dig into the operation first off we have an easy-to-use digital control panel and there's a simple power button to press when you want to first start up the machine next you can simply take a vac bag and place it into the end of the chamber just inside this small chamber here and close the lid now we can choose how long the vacuum and how long the seal the seal time can be adjusted with just some small up-and-down arrows from right here anywhere from a short is 0.5 seconds all the way up to 9 seconds I typically recommend no more than about three seconds of seal time for a standard vacuum bag then we can also choose the vacuum level and that is done just by pressing the vacuum level button right here each press cycles through a different level for almost every situation I would just leave it to the max unless you have a delicate item that would get crushed or ruined by pulling a full vacuum it's better to just leave it set to max and always pull as much of a vacuum as you can with these options you simply then just press the start button and let it do its thing we do have a couple of other options to use on these vacuum sealers as well though there's a manual seal mode to either seal the end of a custom cut in sized back bag or press the manual seal button to stop the vacuum process and seal at an exact point during the vacuum cycle most the time you'll just use it for making your own custom sized vac bags out of the vacuum bag rolls though next we have a pulse button this is used to engage the vacuum on the unit for a very precise vacuum this is best used on delicate items that you want to seal in a bag but you don't want a full vacuum because it could crush those delicate items or it can just be used when you're sealing liquids so you can precisely pull a vacuum without sucking a ton of the liquid back up out of the chamber or into the actual chamber here and out of the bag the last function on here is an accessory button which is just something you can use in conjunction with other things like vacuum seal canisters other than that there's always a stop button that can be pressed at any time to cancel any operation in progress overall I really like these machines they're really
