U.S. VISA INTERVIEW QUESTIONS | Tourist Visa/B1B2

hi guys welcome back to the channel so before anything else I want to greet everybody a happy happy New Year so happy happy 20204 anyway in today's video I will be sharing the questions that were asked to me by the US Consulate during my US Visa interview last May 9 of 2023 so if you guys are interested please keep on watching okay so first things first how many questions did I get so I just got four um questions total so the first two questions were the main questions so they were the the um yeah very the main questions and then the the last two questions the third and the fourth were kind of like um confirmatory question so yeah it was just like a yes and no um question but anyway my first question so right when I it was my turn and I gave my passport to the US Consulate on the window he immediately asked me where are you heading so I simply answered I am heading to Guam to take my national Physical Therapy exam okay okay so I want to give a little time to explain and share my thoughts on this this specific question my first question because I feel like this was really the main question that got got me approved in my Visa this is a very common question right so I don't know if you've already heard a lot of or watch a lot of YouTube videos or you know testimonies online but everyone who's going to get a tourist visa will always be asked this question so um the going to be assuming that since it is a B1 B2 Visa tourist visa the console is going to assume that you are going to go there as a tourist you know for vacation right but if for us since we are going to be taking an exam it's very different because we're not of course obviously we're not going to go there for a vacation you know for vacation we're going to go there for for a very serious purpose right it is to take an exam in that question I think it's very important for you to insert what's the purpose purpose of your trip because again we are going to take an exam not for vacation right so if you give them that idea as soon as possible that is going to change the whole their whole perspective of you right because you only have like 3 minutes for them to assess you so as quickly as you can you have to give them the purpose of your trip so that they will be informed you it it's not necessary for you to wait for the question what is your purpose because they might not ask that right so for us for someone who's going to take an exam and not going to go there for vacation I think it is top priority to insert whenever you can the first opportunity that you can to give them that purpose but even if you're not going to take an exam or if you have another purpose that is not really you know for vacation I think it's still re really important to insert that at the first opportunity that you can okay for the second question so my second question since the C already knew that I'm am going to take a PT exam the the console asked me how many years have you been working as a PT so my simple answer was for 3 years now that's it so it was a question I thought that I didn't have to expound or to give a lot of answer because it was a very direct question so that's why I just left it with a few words anyway if you can hear dogs parking please excuse me anyway so my third question so for my third and fourth question again they were like a confirmatory question so it was a simple yes and no question so for my third question the conso just simply asked okay so you plan to take the exam in Guam come back here and get a working Visa right and I just simply said yes with a smile on my face and then for the third question again it was still a confirmatory question so he he just said okay so you're taking the exam on July 26th right and I just simply said yes and that was it those were my four questions that the US conso asked me so a few seconds after I think around 15 10 15 seconds after my last question um he was just typing and then finally he said okay I've approved your Visa please expect your Visa in a week or two so I was I was really relieved and of course Very like that did they ask any documents so the answer is no they did not ask any documents except for my passport but again it is still very import important for you to be extra complete with your requirements and your documents especially the at letter and all of the necessary documents that you know um you need to bring because you never know that you might be the first person where they ask your documents right and I got my Visa maybe a week and a few days after that through the mail LBC and in my Visa there's a connotation right um that said to Guam to take and pte July 26 so it was very specific so you can imagine how strict they are in terms of your entry and exit to any US state so before I end this video I want to give and share a few tips so the first one is to try just to be honest as you can because you have to remember that their job the consol's job is to interview a lot of people right so maybe even in during my time I think we were like over 8 or 100 people so you can imagine their experience with that like every single day so they would have already have that gut feeling if you are lying to them or if you're not being honest if you are not you know being very genuine with your intentions so yeah just be honest because I feel like you really can't cheat I mean uh yeah they can really tell I can feel like they can tell if you're not being honest so anyway for the last tip and probably one of the most important tip that I can share with you guys guys is to be involved or to be part of the group in Facebook called USV application so all of my friends or everyone I that I know who went through the USV application are in this page because it's very very helpful it has prepared um Us in so many ways because there's in that page there's like testimonies every single day and we've been part of that group for more than a year so every single day we've been reading testimonies from different people who went through the US Visa interview so they share like the questions that were asked to them by the consols and their answers and they also get pretty honest if they get denied or approved and they also share their thoughts on why they think they got denied and what were the reasons they think that got them approved so you will get a whole lot of information from this page alone and also you can you can ask like or post a question on the page and a lot of people actually respond to them so it's a very helpful community so I think that's it I
