hello guys welcome to this quick unroll engine tutorial i'm going to show you how to create a waterfall so make sure you enable the water plugins go to plugins is make sure you just enable this one and if you enable this for the first time arnold engine probably ask you to restart the engine okay so make sure you just enable it okay the next step is i have here like a simple scene very simple we don't have any landscape so i'm just going to create a new one go to landscape and create new and enable edge layers make sure you check that and scroll down and create a new one okay we have landscape now okay let's place the water up actors go to place actors if you want to see this panel you just need to enable go to create and place actor panel right here and i just put that panel over here okay and go to set after wire i'm gonna use a water bottle like and drag and drop to the to the scene like that okay we have this very simple and go to the content browsers we're going to add some force and settings enable show engine content okay scroll down we have here water contents and go to fleet simulation and then blue prints we have here bp fluid sim drag and drop i'm gonna put this right in the middle of the lake like that and we're gonna need to change several parameters here let's see here let's i think the most important one is the world size for the simulation i'm gonna yeah let's enable the show simulation mess and we'll see here the simple plane like this and we just need to make it bigger okay scroll down here we have optioned called simulation world size i'm gonna make it you know bigger because it's too small you know shallow water solver you know it's kind of weird we have like a wood simulation so make sure you increase this like 60k like this and then we're gonna need to change the silver to shallow water and the damping like like this what this is uh zero comma one okay and scroll down again and we have another option here train mode change this to terrain with elevation and the next step is yeah i think that's all we need we're gonna jump to the next steps oh yeah make sure for the water body it's gonna be water body lake okay and i'm gonna just need to you know push it like this and the next step yeah i'm going to disable the stove seamless and mess again okay let's add the force go to the examples and we have here bp dynamic first component drag and drop to the scene like that let's uh see the parameter here probably the size i'm going to increase the size radius go to radius probably like 300 so we can see that sphere as you know our guide and i'm gonna show mesh when we simulate this scene okay and yeah i think that's all we need let's try simulate this see what happens i'm gonna simulate okay make sure you simulate this so that we can control this sphere okay now we have that ripple but we don't have a form yet so how do we achieve that form i think it's going to be very simple so there is some difference you know with arnold engine 4 so we need to go to water burns for the for the material with this water like so i'm gonna switch this mercurial instance browse this one and go to the water material and we're just trying to enable that form okay it's gonna be where is it which form water foam there we go lead simulation and enable we have boolean here and right click just promote this one promote to parameter and default is equal to one just enable to true like this and save this one okay okay now compiling cedar okay shader compilation just finished and let's try to simulate this again see what happens so now we have foam that's cool okay that's all it's very simple let's you create phone you don't know engine for this one you can just increase the damping let's try now crank up the damping for the bp with same and uh 0.5 let's see or one let's see this okay let's try to simulate this one again i think that's enough i guess that's it's very easy how to create forming engine five yeah yeah that's really cool okay okay thanks for watching
