hello guys Baron here so let's talk about Pretty Cure Pretty Cure is a currently running Japanese magical girl franchise that's produced by Toei animation in this video let's talk about what everybody loves in the pretty care community opinions yep we will be getting to some my worse and unpopular opinions here before I start let me know that's fine that you don't grieve me if you notice something's wrong with why I said it then feel free to reply in the comments because I might as well be wrong so on with the video whap critic here is the first season of this franchise and a lot of people have nostalgia for this series but for me however I don't have that feeling I'm not much of a fan of guitar well pretty clear I mean the first season is OK but I wouldn't call it great it's just your basic Mahou shoujo anime with just a simple story but hey I did like the action and choreography it's still impressive even the early 2000s our leads Nagisa and Hanukkah aren't ok protagonists and I really like to character interactions there were a couple of good episodes into season dyed to enjoy is there anything I don't like about photography prettier hmm the villains are really forgettable even to the point where I can't remember most of their names why does Fujiki exist he's there to be some crutch burnout Mesa which literally goes nowhere and she has some drama with Hanukkah because she's jealous of the two of them I'm serious this is one of the reasons further fallout in the movie the fairies are so annoying paalam is a brat lunéville is a loud cry baby I don't have anything to say against nipple she's honestly the least annoying fairy I hate how two transformations in the bubbles group count the episodes and shiny luminous I'm not saying she's a bad character but come on despite being a good character she's sadly not an action clean in the battlefield people who would say splash star is a ripoff of the original season even though I would consider it more of a step up and improvement of the Thar walk is it the worst season I've ever seen no but personally it's just not my cup of tea what do I like about curico her design looks impressive I like the animation of her visually appealing transformation sequence I guess that's all looking back in all-stars new stage a Yumi's character is a bit flat she's a teenage girl who moved to a new town okay like that never happened for she doesn't know how to talk or make new friends it's understandable but again she's a fan of The Pretty Cure which I think she found out in a newspaper even as a pretty cure she didn't do anything much with these powers in all-stars new stage she doesn't fight any monsters sure echo has an elegant design but I'm disappointed that it wasn't utilized for a fight scene by the way where did her powers come from was there white pure debt car that existed candy pop do you know anything about this even beat and muses explanations don't make any sense I do like in later films toward would try to bring back a you me giving her some mascots a really cool finisher and more chances to shine but she's mostly just underutilized and it's really disappointing and that's why I can't love curico her character feels a bit wasted ever since I started and finished go princess I noticed a lot of people online say you we should have been a cure and all that I have to personally disagree and yes she's a good character but a grand princess candidate all she wants is to be an author the go Prince's team are each related to being a princess Parker's dream is to become a princess Manami comes from an influential family Kiara is a fashion model and TOA is an actual as much as you is universally a good character I really don't see here as a cure or should be a member of the NGO princes team because it doesn't fit for her character sadly unlike harka her dream is to be a storybook author and she has less connections to being a princess than the rest of the board personally I don't care if you ease the type of character who stays in the sidelines it's one of many things that make her character unique hug tow pretty sure is a great season the series does into one of the most intriguing topics the future and why may bring it presented us with a strong lead cure and a wonderful cast of characters hug tale Pretty Cure is a season filled with a lot of ambitions and ideas hug tail Pretty Cure is a great season but it's not the perfect season Cogdill pretty cures start off really strong in its introduction I would consider it the best dart and well handled but I cannot say the same for a second half because there were a lot of ideas with its plot points into characters and yeah that's the issue this season got too ambitious with this interesting idea is that the pacing of the story felt jumbled when these plot points had to be introduced and resolved there's syas conflict with choosing to become a doctor or an actor's honorary becoming Scout to cairo CEO and development into cure Infini and even most of their villains redemption artists they're really good plot points but not given the time they're needed plus there were a lot of interesting questions that will never be answered like the pretty cure for the future cure Tomales entire pass and backstory even dr. Tom's daughter then there's the crossovers hug tale had a crossover with the Fattah routine which I really enjoyed a two-parter which features all the pretty cures and later a theatrical movie which is also an additional All Stars phone to be honest I find the two-parter episodes a bit unnecessary now saying that two-parter was terrible since these episodes had really great fan service and provides some of the best throwbacks to previous seasons but what's really the point of having an all pretty clear possible movie if you're doing another one in the show despite all the series stick to its point in the end the future is terrifying and were afraid of the struggles we might come to face and could bring out to hope in the best of us hugged up pretty cure is an enjoyable season and would have been a masterpiece but to me it was incomplete and I cannot call the perfect season just yet okay this is a spoiler warning for the final arc of star twinkle pretty here if you haven't watched the series then please skip to the end so the big battle dis series is darkness who is revealed to be offe yuccas xiii star princess who have gone rogue a lot of people complain about her backstory mainly the reason of her betrayal all the star princesses created the universe and consider sharing the imaginations to all living things I'm sorry I don't even know what imagination even is in the star twinkle universe is it consciousness is it creativity whatever a few kiss police is a terrible plan since imagination can be warped by others than be misused however the other princesses have a solution by gathering a few people to prevent warp imagination from going wild to cure the universe back to his previous state the pre sure a few kiss then fight some often loses escaping the bowel and becoming darkness and forma de nada Raiders on her conquest to destroy him rebuild the universe in her vision and this is what people had to say about her backstory the reason why she wants to destroy the universe because nobody could agree on her opinion and it's definitely worse than the wars backstory what I'm sorry what am I am i hearing this correctly yeah I don't think a few kisses backstory and motivation is that bad since she's technically right innocence warping imaginations have played throughout the universe as we see with the nod raiders past people would compare a few kiss to Noir I'm sorry but I would actually compare darkness as motivation similar to George from Huggett Oh both of them are hard-headed on their goals believing it's for the sake of what's right even though it's a wrong approach and don't get me started on to star princesses for over 15 years the Pretty Cure are heroes who choose to transform and fight any threat that harms the earth they are not tools to clean up your own mess these are people no actual teenage girls you're entrusting to save the universe and why compare of Lucas to noir no war is a villain who turned evil after throwing a temper tantrum for not having sweets I mean sure he was likely mentally scarred after fighting in a war but come on it wasn't like Lumiere wasn't got a big suite for him anymore no heart just let her bake for everyone including you plus where did your powers come from if you used to be human I'm sorry but I don't think darkness is that bad of a villain in terms of backstory and motivation yeah there might be a few holes here and there but it's not absurd and is an understandable motivation and that's all I can give right now what do you fellas think of my opinions and do you have any that you would like to share feel free to come down below and please keep it moderate give this video like click on the notification bell and subscribe for more videos like this I'm Barron signing [Music]
