loneliness during my time living alone in a small one-bedroom apartment i was able to think more clearly go about routines more smoothly and generally have more freedom in my life i hate when people say you're never going to get married and have kids as if i was some lonely loser i had a girlfriend she was pretty much the center of my life in a bad way she wants a dog even though i explained to her that we both work too much to leave a dog in the house all day she wouldn't hear it so we got a puppy two years later turned it into pound because it tore up the house too much lived with some friends rent was spilled up three ways 50 between me and one friend and the other 50 for the other friend the friend that paid the most is the most controlling guy ever last two summers we walked around pretty much naked because he refused to turn up the ac i would go it into further but i think you get the point i'm honestly thinking about moving out on my friend's place and living in a cramped apartment for the rest of my life alone and being okay with that might i say i'll be more happy going on a talent show and telling sad stories shouldn't be allowed whenever i watch any sort of talent show like britain's got talent every singer or dancer who comes on by themselves has some sort of story like i'm singing for my dad who died last year or i had cancer last year i'm not saying these aren't awful things because they are but when you go out and dedicate your song to your aunt who just passed it ends up brining the judges and audience to tears every single time i think a talent show should be based on talent alone instead of influencing decisions on the backstory if you lived 100 plus years ago you would be just as racist as everybody else a lot of people like to say that they could never be racist if they lived 100 years ago and that is almost certainly not true the vast majority of people are products of their environments and they might be completely different people if they were born somewhere else people are shaped by their environment in so many different ways at a such an early age that if the prevailing thought is that minorities are intellectually inferior you would probably go right along with it without even questioning it because that's how people used to be i'm not at all saying that any of this is acceptable behavior but a lot of the reasons why people thought this was because really that's just how it was there are obviously exceptions for people who really went against the norm and didn't think these things but these people were a minority most people causally thought these things and you would too if you grew up in the 1800s i'm really sick of people saying that they couldn't because that's just their 21st century mindset working but if you lived 100 years ago you would be just like everyone else i'm sick and tired of people glorifying criminals who make music most recent example would be takashi 6 9 nightin convicted for several violent crimes as part of a gang multiple accusations of sexual activity with underage girls and he's billboard top three a month after being released from jail other examples are kodak black convicted of lying on background checks to purchase firearms multiple drug and robbery charges etc or take a who is still in jail for a murder conviction yet since these criminals make music they're glorified and looked up too convicted criminals and people love them they get locked up and people call for them to be released from prison like there wasn't a good reason for them being there now i'm all for giving people a second chance i'm all for people turning their lives around i'm a big fan of danny trejo and everything he's done to make himself a better person but these people are no danny trejo they have no remorse for what they did they continue to do it they actively make music talking about doing the things they do preaching anti-police ideals encouraging drug use firearm violence and people absolutely eat it up sick of it the anti-peta movement is unfounded in another example of multi-billion dollar industries taking advantage of the gullibility of the internet the anti-peta astroturf movement is sponsored by millions of animal agriculture dollars not by grassroots opposition to real injustice peta kills animals is a front group operated by the birmingham company they operate a network of dozens of front groups attack dog websites and alleged think tanks that work to counteract minimum wage campaigns they also keep wages low for restaurant workers and block legislation on food safety second-hand cigarette smoke drunk driving and more this campaign of disinformation is run by companies that own kfc and outback steakhouse which kill millions of animals for personal consumption and profit these animals are smarter than the cats and dogs peta puts down anyway pigs have the intelligence of a three-year-old this is blatant hypocrisy the animals that peta euthanizes are the ones that would be rejected from no kill shelters because they don't take chronically ill pets that can't be adopted someone has relived these animals from their suffering and peta unfairly takes the brunt of this upsetting reality pita bad because how dare vegans annoy me i like burger and bacon overweight models are more harmful than helpful while i understand what this movement tries to promote i think it's more harmful than helpful yeah it can be good and bad but i think the bad outweighs the good on this one being overweight is simply put not healthy same as how being underweight is not healthy which is why i don't think models who are underweight should be modeling either common supermodels like kendall jenner bella hadid etc are mostly all underweight kendall jenner for instance is 5 feet 9 inches 121 pounds making her bmi 17.9 underweight this should not be promoted much in the same way that plus size should not be promoted what should be promoted are models who are of average healthy weight neither over nor under scarlett johansson for example is 5 feet 3 inches and 125 pounds and has a bmi of 22.1 which is in the normal range this and only this is what should receive promotion nowadays we don't see advertisements of people smoking all over the place why because it would be promoting an unhealthy lifestyle so what is different about promoting unhealthy weight the arguments for continued illegal immigration sound a lot like the arguments against ending slavery whenever anyone mentions ending illegal immigration inevitably someone will chime in with who is going to pick your fruit or who is going to mow your lawns this is an awful defense for illegal immigration it's the same argument that was used to defend slavery in the south who will pick the cotton and who will take care of the house it really bothers me that this is what social media boils down illegal immigration to like there's some permanent underclass that's sole purpose is providing cheap labor the argument is that no american wants to pick strawberries sure when the wages kept artificially low by an endless supply of day laborers yes no american would pick strawberries for 17 a day but why is it that those jobs have to be terrible wages toxic femininity should be just as much of a thing as toxic masculinity not all women are toxic just like not all men are but it seems like we turn a blind eye when women start behaving in toxic ways whether it's uncontrollable witching habits or when they start judging women and men based on what they're wearing and their aesthetics some women tend to be a lot more superficial when it comes to what they look for in appearances for example height weight etc it also seems to be accepted by society a lot more than when men start demanding women to look and act a certain way another irritating thing is that women tend to stick to the same topics it's like they're so brainwashed with their priorities the narrative that you're worth is based on your appearance seems to be growing with the age of instagram which tends to be dominated by half-naked women constantly seeking validation by how many likes they get disclaimer i'm a woman who has a lot of girlfriends maybe i just have shitty friends but it seems to be a growing trend on who can be more superficial and shallow these days people need to learn that explains it but it doesn't excuse it yes your child has add but that doesn't excuse them from turning in their homework they have an iep yes you are struggling with addiction but that doesn't excuse you from the consequences of the choices you made i'm allowed to be mad about the fact you stole from me multiple times i understand you're struggling with a mental illness but doesn't excuse your poor behavior you putting tommy and susie q down for whatever reason today is just you being a bad friend yes you had a bad childhood who hasn't but that doesn't mean you can just destroy someone else's stuff yes i understand you're a struggling single parent but you children are causing way more problems for the staff with you letting them treat this place like a playground and not a restaurant or doctor's offices yes i understand you have dietary needs but you never disclosed any of it so we can't accommodate you at the moment but we are trying our best these are just a few examples i personally had to deal with our society is emotionally weak yep i said it it doesn't matter who you are what you are what you want to be or what you identify as society and not just america is growing more and more sensitive every year people take things way too seriously and stretch things far out of proportion dark humor is apparently as bad as a heinous war crime now we've got people censoring trigger words on online communities and they don't even make sense because sometimes they're words like hotel or breakfast yes i was in a discord where both of those were blacklisted trigger words with lack of better words toughen up guys the world won't cater to your ever so specific needs if you genuinely believe all cops are bad congratulations you're part of the problem if it's racist to say all asian people do x y z and it's wrong to say all men do six then it's wrong to say all cops are bad generalization is generalization and people making assumptions about an entire group of people based off of a few bad people is wrong the cops that are bad need to be held accountable and i'm saying this is someone who is from the us i have no experience with cops in other countries but when someone dies due to police brutality people are so quick to say a cobb why not just focus on the victim in the situation why not focus on getting them justice instead of blaming an entire police force not all cops are bad and the only way acab is valid is if it means assigned chat at birth truck drivers deserve the same praises that nurses are getting to be honest it's getting annoying to see that nurses dancing around and getting clout for doing the job they sign up for but no one cares about the truck drivers who spend just as much time maybe either longer away from their families these people don't understand that truck drivers are delivering a ton of stuff i mean a lot of supplies and utilities that people need do they get praise hell no it's bad enough that they're outside possible risking their health so that a karen could have her six-pack or toilet paper but it hurts me that they're not getting the same kind of love no commercial no hashtags no army solute for those who spends 12 to 15 hours a day driving across the country for some ungrateful people money is everything i would much rather have a life without love and family but with loads of money than the other way around i'm so sick of listening to everyone saying that money doesn't buy happiness and that it's less valuable than love or family or something like that with money i could have accomplished one hell of an education bought a great house afford to have a healthy food and workout routine afford some awesome suits and clothes and not be worried of this coronavirus crisis that is making more homeless people than at tsunami with money i wouldn't be this miserable honestly i would be truly happy if i could have all of these things instead of having a marriage that would eventually end or a family that would probably annoy me we live in a world where money truly is the greatest resource and that can get you anything so stop minimizing its value and overrate love love hurts love hurts
