all right Graphics settings this is all you're going to need for video'll get the most out of your PC go to your start menu type in settings at the top here you want to go game turn game mode off turn game bar off type in notifications turn notifications off go back down here type in power settings additional high performance yours might not say it here it might be under this section so open it up high performance if you want Nvidia open up Nvidia control panel manage 3D settings program settings select boo in this list if it's not in this list and go add should be in this list Black Desert 64.exe that's what we care about once you've got that you'll have this list here so we're going to go down low latency mode mode on don't use ultra Ultra bugs out Max frame rate set it to whatever your max frame rate is refresh rate of your computer or your monitor Sor so that'll be 144 for me or 165 um you don't have to set this to a Max but I'd rather have stable frames even though it renders more in the background up to you then we'll go down further power management mode set it to maximum performance threaded optimization on vertical syn off apply that that'll be done all right for the in-game settings I'm not going to go through and explain every setting to you I'm just going to show you what they are roughly and what the important ones are first thing you want to do display settings crop mode turn that on display height and width Max it out and then this is the most important part so if we go to display quality I'm going to mess it up here but you want to whatever you're on at the moment click Ultra apply Ultra all right so now that you're on Ultra make sure you do this exact set of clicks scroll down turn on upscale apply that once that's done click on AMD Fidelity Ultra quality do not apply it scroll up and select whatever Graphics texture you want this setting is only meant for remastered and you want FXAA on it's only meant for remastered but if you do this set of clicks during this section before we press apply you can select other things and it will keep AMD Fidelity on so select whatever you want I play on remastered make sure FXAA is on TAA blurs apply that all right now that that's applied just to confirm texture quality you can put this on high medium whatever you want your graphics quality is going to be whatever you just set it to in my case remastered anti-aliasing is FXAA and you want to confirm that it is on AMD Ultra quality if you don't do ultra quality all the blades of grass and the buildings are going to have a blurry Edge to them you don't want that outside of that that's the most important thing but low power option make sure that's off um if you are on a lower card uh maybe turn off other other effects far away effects things like that it's up to you um ssao you can turn that off um display Shadows more realistically doesn't really matter um it's minimal and it does take a bit of your FPS there uh depth of field preference uh hit effect up to you blood splatter up to you all of this stuff is minimal difference for FPS um the only ones you really care about is others effects low power option and ssao uh if we go to Performance settings optimization here is where you can have a look at your optimization if you're lagging or you want more FPS on a lower end PC you can turn character optimization on I leave it at about 30 35 and effect optimization I'd usually put it somewhere towards here if I was going to do it that should be everything you need you should be getting more than enough frames um if your frames are still pretty low maybe drop the uh quality here the graphics quality to a bit lower here but keep AMD re uh AMD Fidelity on uh as far as full screen not full screen on your own full screen window it's going to show you the maximum frame rate being the max frames your monitor can display so if you're on a 144z monitor it'll only show 144 HZ anyway it doesn't mean that it stops rendering in the background you'll be rendering more than 144 in the background it'll just be displaying 144 which is fine cuz it means you'll have a stable 144 um if you do want to just see the number go higher and you're happy to see that you can go full screen as well and full screen will show you a higher number then then you refresh rate that should be it thanks for watching
