ULTIMATE Samsung Customization - One UI 5 !!!

guys I am finally back in my brand new studio and even though I'm still building it Samsung released the biggest one ui5 updates and I just had to show you so what about your phones because now is the perfect time for the ultimate Samsung customization so this update is available for a ton of different Samsung phones check out the description if yours is one of them but to get started if you press and hold down on the lock screen the BAM you get this brand new customization screen where you can now go crazy so you can choose a different clock style whether you like digital or analog you have six different fonts to choose from I went for a little bit of a bold one and at the bottom you can choose your clock color so whether you want to get really specific or even a gradient there's a couple options and you can also resize that bad boy then just below that you can customize the notification lock so whether you want icons or a detailed notification you can change up the transparency as well if you'd like but I personally prefer the icon look and here is what the two options look like when you get a notification then below that you get this contact information box so theoretically you're supposed to put in your phone number if someone finds your phone they can get a hold of you but I personally prefer to use emojis or something just a bit more custom or you could go a step further and put in an inspirational quote I just used a fancy font from lingo Gem and check it out another cool thing you can do is change the corner applications to any application you'd like so I went with the apps I use most often like Spotify and YouTube much better so this is just the beginning of the ultimate customization I'm going to show you a lot more but just look at what a difference those couple of options make to the overall aesthetic already so that is a great start but now let's move on to customizing some wallpapers so once again if you click and hold down and enter this customization screen you'll see this option wallpapers and in here they have a couple pre-loaded options like these graphical wallpapers which are pretty cool but you can get a bit more custom and choose this option colors for this one you can actually play around quite a lot and choose from a bunch of different colors not just these ones but once you have decided on your color you can adjust the saturation and then even adjust the style there are seven different styles to choose from and basically in a couple of seconds you can create your own unique wallpaper but it can get even better than that because there is even a gallery option so you can choose pictures you've taken or downloaded from the internet and every time you unlock your phone it displays a new wallpaper but it gets even better by far one of the most insane things about this is that you can actually set a video wallpaper there's a lock screen this is so dang cool and you can turn the video down if you'd like but just like that you have the most epic Dynamic lock screen okay but that is just the lock screen let me me show you what you can do with the home screen okay now I hope you guys are ready because this is when things get really cool first up if you head into the widget section and add a widget like WhatsApp for example once you've added it if you click and hold down you'll see this widget stack option and if you click on that you can now go and add any other widget you want like gallery for example which is a personal favorite of mine and why I dig it so much is you can select an album specific images or even pngs and when you're done check it out you have a stack of your favorite widgets as well as this Gallery one which rotates through all the images you selected you can also completely adjust the size to pretty much anything another brand new and total must for your home screen is this smart suggestion widget it is actually pretty smart because it'll automatically update the applications in this widget based on your most used apps so these actually change all the time so once you have added your stacked widgets the Smart Suggestions maybe the weather a photo gallery and all your favorite apps then it is time to make it even more aesthetic so to get this look even better when you tap and hold down on the home screen then select wallpaper and style you'll notice this color palette option so once you toggle on color palette you'll have a bunch of different gradient colors to choose from for your highlights as well as tint you do also just get some basic colors but make sure you toggle applied palettes to app icons because with that one step your entire aesthetic comes together and check out these other designs I created by doing what I've just shown you guys in this brand new epic update but besides the lock screen and home screen you can even customize the actual screen with the screen saver whoa [Music] now I don't know about you guys but I love that you can add a screensaver So within display settings right at the bottom if you tap on it there are four different options to choose from and this does just add to the overall aesthetic so you can choose colors and here's what it looks like when you plug your phone in at night and leave it to charge it is so mesmerizing and kind of acts like a nightlight or you can go for this photo table option where you can actually choose an album from your gallery and when you plug your phone in to charge it will automatically turn into this active artwork of your photos or into a colorful display piece instead of just a blank slab of nothing then back inside settings under lock screen you also have always on display which you might not have known can be customized too so under clock style you can choose the style of clock you'd like as well as change the color but if you click on image clock you will see a bunch of different options where you can choose from gifs or stickers that are displayed right below the clock so there are these custom emojis but if you click on gallery you can actually select a custom image or do what I did which is download this really cool GIF because we're trying to build the ultimate customization but you can go for something minimal aesthetic or even funny so you probably thought it couldn't get any more custom than that but it does with a notification pop-up Styles if you select brief and tap on edge lighting style here we can choose from The slickest Edge screen lighting like this one called Bubble which is so cool so once you've decided on your style if you click color you can then of course choose whatever color it is you want and finally you can actually adjust the transparency as well as width and even duration of that edge lighting this has been around for a while but I couldn't skip it because of just how cool it is okay but once again we can take it a step further under accessibility then advanced settings and Flash notification because in here if you toggle on screen flash you can then choose what color you want your screen to flash when you receive a notification not many people know about this feature but it is just so satisfying when you get that notification all those colors look so good it's very flashy foreign have some amazing customization options and another one is found within call settings under cold background if you tap on that right at the bottom you can choose a layout so whether you want a bigger or smaller contact profile but the fun is in the background because if you click on this plus icon you can go to your gallery and select any video to play when you get a phone call so once again I just hopped on the internet and downloaded this super cool graphic video and I freaking love it this feature alone actually makes a massive difference to your phone's overall aesthetic but so does this next feature so we all have a couple little secrets that we like to keep hidden and under security and privacy right over here you can actually toggle on secure folder once you've set it up you can then hide pretty much anything in your secure folder the only thing is it says secure folder and doesn't really look good but we can actually change that so once you access your secure folder you can check out those hidden pictures all that jazz but if you click on these three dots you'll see this option customize and here is where you can actually customize your secure folder to say anything like settings you can choose what color you'd like it to be and even the icon once you click apply you'll no longer have a super obvious secure folder now that is what I call pretty sneaky [Music] believe it or not we are still not done with the ultimate customization because within display settings if you scroll down you'll see Edge panel once you toggle that on you'll get this little panel that appears on the side but you guessed it you can customize this Edge panel by tapping on handle in here you can now adjust the color of the edge panel there's a couple different options but you can get really specific once again once you've decided on the color you can also choose your transparency as well as the size and then you can reposition where you want your Edge panel just as another extra tip you know it's always great to keep the edge panel near your thumb just so it's really quick and easy to access but then what I like to do is click on the edit button and put in all the other applications I like to use that are super bright but definitely do not match the aesthetic as you can see and just like that you can now live on the edge [Music] on to quick tips and for some really Nifty customization make sure you download and install good luck and once that is done open it up and scroll down until you see registar because when you open up a registar you get the side key press and hold action that you can customize to access your Google assistant so once that is toggled on you can literally click and hold down on your lock button and Google Assistant will open up now that is useful then you can also get this toggle on backtap action so here you can choose from a couple different options but my favorite has got to be opening up an application I decided to go with Spotify as well as the calculator and now if you double tap the back of your Samsung phone it'll instantly open up the application and I was so shocked at just how quickly it does that it literally takes a few seconds as you can see and that guys is the ultimate customization tag me
