[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] everyone welcome back to my child if you're new here my name is Tiffany Beeston from Beauty and the Beast sense and tonight I say tonight because it is a little bit after 8:00 I just got my kids down to bed and this is how I can meal prep is when my kids are not around me and I could just get it all done in one shot so like I said we are doing a meal prep with me this is going to be super efficient I'm going to share all my tips and tricks we're going to be using the instant pot the oven and a crock pot also going to be using the cooktop for a few things but the main thing here is that we're being efficient we're making this simple we're making delicious meals and also going to be showing you how I meal plan to do my meal prep we're going to have three breakfast options to lunch options and to dinner options so cool thing with the lunch and dinner is that like it could be switched around the breakfast options could be used as snacks but we're also going to be making desserts all of my recipes are super easy they're healthy the desserts are a little bit of a splurge but I feel like it's better than going out and getting ice cream I feel like that has like much more like calories and fat than the Jews or items that I will be making this evening so first things first I'm just going to share with you how I do my meal prep so I go right on Pinterest and either do like exact Pinterest recipes but most of the time I get inspired by Pinterest recipes and then put my own little twist on it which you cannot be scared to do you have to make it your own that is like one of my biggest tips like a lot of times people will see like an ingredient and that recipe that they don't love so they'll just skip it all together but you don't need to do that so once I get like my little list of what I want to make I just put on here what I coordinated it to see if it's going to be an instant pot the crock pot oven or other I wrote things that I need to chop and like I said I categorized where everything was going to be getting cooked at just so that I can make my life easier if you take a minute outs a meal plan for your meal prep it actually saves you so much time I won't be meaning to cook again until the weekend so after I got all my recipes in order from Pintrest and everything like that I just copied it and pasted it into my notes on my phone it's changed the things that I want it to change and then I printed them out from the recipes I just went through I have this cute little shopping list that I found a target dollar spot and what I love about this is that is categorized that kind of helps you through thin vegetables the NZ food pantry dairy and then home if you can't find this exact list at your target dollar spot it's fine to just make the categories yourself and then lists the things that you need anyway you can even do it like based on how your story is set up I usually do that my store starts with produce and ends with dairy so I kind of do my produce and then my snack I and I was in my cereal and then my canned goods because that's how my grocery store is laid out another thing you can do which I did today was I did a grocery pickup it did white no planning mean the butt though because they were out of a couple things I did not substitute so my husband ran back out for me to the store because he's a sweetheart but if your grocery store is really good with their pickup or delivery when you're doing that sit-down meal planning just go right ahead onto the website or instant card or instacart whatever is fun whatever you do and just add that add everything you need right from your list you won't forget anything if you couldn't double check it right off it there again it's time-saving so today like I mentioned we have a couple breakfast it was a couple lunch items and a couple dinner items just want to let you know what we're going to be making today so we are making egg bites like the ones like Starbucks and muffins we're also gonna making a teriyaki meatballs with vegetables and spaghetti squash lasagna crock pot chicken taco soup squash beautiful and a lava cake so thank you and if any of those sound good to you so before I get into all of this cooking and meal prep I just want to say if you enjoyed this video make sure you subscribe give this video a thumbs up and if you really enjoy it let me know because I want to make this into a series at least a once a month series if you enjoy it but let's get into the cooking I'm gonna start with the two bigger items first which are my butternut squash and my spaghetti squash the spaghetti squash we're going to be putting into the instant pot for 17 minutes and then I'm going to let the pressure release for five minutes and we'll get into that at the time but then also the butternut squash I'm going to start off by microwaving that just so I'm able to cut it because I'm going to be roasting that in the oven so we're gonna throw those two big items because we also want to let them cool off before we can work with them for the spaghetti squash I'm just going to be piercing it so that it can cook thoroughly in an instant pot this is my very first time using the instant pot I'm very familiar with the crock pot but I finally was like let's try the instant pot so if you're scared like I was let's get unscared together alright so I put this little basket and now I'm adding one cup of water just piercing the squash okay says the entire squash inside got to put our lid on and closed see now on the venting position it's on the ceiling position now we're just going to hit pressure cook and then we're going to decrease the time - I'm going to start with 15 minutes there we go let's hope I don't blow up my home now that that's going I'm going to do the same thing and Pierce this butternut squash I'm going to microwave it for about seven minutes and see if I'm able to cut into it because I'm not trying to cook it I just want to be able to cut into it so that we can dice it up to roast it next is gonna be preheating the oven to 425 I'm going to be putting some turkey bacon in there and then we're also going to be using that temperature to roast our butternut squash okay so our spaghetti squash is an instant pot that has 11 on it our butternut squash instead I'm going to take that out in a second and our oven is still beginning for our beacon I just put some parchment paper in here and I sprayed it very lightly we're going for my turkey bacon on there and cook it for about 12 minutes and often the reason that I'm doing this now is to just get it out the way because it doesn't need to be warm we're just going to crumble it for an advice later on in the video so this is done and I'm just going to move this this is going to going to vent it without my hand or top of it literally just press this little button that you move it out and I'll ruin my cabinets too and let it bake for five minutes [Music] [Music] what works out really nicely is that this only has about five minutes left so when this timer goes off I'll take the bacon out and I'll take my spaghetti squash out but right now I'm going to rinse off our produce wash now our bacon and I just rinsed everything got everything ready that needs to be cut up I love tomato on it on because I'm going to roast a butternut squash so I'm going to start with cutting that up first so that we could roast it for about 30 minutes [Music] all right so my butternut squash is all ready to be roasted in the oven I'm using the same parchment paper as my turkey bacon that's completely fine I'm just going to throw that on here and then I'm going to season it with one teaspoon of garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon of paprika and 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper before I season it I'm going to drizzle on 1/2 tablespoon of pure maple syrup [Music] I also should mention that I drizzled them with a little bit of olive oil and then topped with some salt and pepper I'm going to throw them in the oven on 425 I'm going to chuck them at about 20 minutes [Music] all right now that that and let's continue to cut up all of our produce this feels like still pretty hot but I should be able to cut it so it's going to go ahead and cut it I'm going to cut it in half instead of lengthwise because I was told and we'll see if you cut it that way that you will get longer spaghetti strings out of it so let's try that [Music] so I am really happy with how that was cooked in the instant pot I feel like it's slightly al dente it for spaghetti squash but the good thing is but I'm going to be baking it in the oven for my spaghetti squash lasagna so I'm not too concerned about it and usually when I think it the first time or when I cook it the first time it to get the spaghetti squash out I usually always bake it again like whether it's like re stuffing the spaghetti squash and like adding cheese or whatever so I do like the instant pot for this I might have done it a little bit longer and and I also do like how the noodles come out longer [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay so one thing I'm trying to do is like just stay organized that really helps me in like cooking thing I've been loading the dishwasher in between my food preps and all of that so everything is cut up we're good with that now since the oven is still on I've turned it to 375 and we're going to go ahead and throw in our chicken teriyaki meatballs so we will be making next so first I'm going to make the meatballs themselves and then we're going to work on the sauce for them so for this I have 1 pound of ground chicken and I'm going to be putting some seasonings in and I'll tell you what we're doing 1 teaspoon of garlic powder 1 teaspoon of ground ginger we're doing 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and I also want to mention that I will have these recipes both on my Pinterest and on my website so I'll have that linked in the description box below we're doing two teaspoons of coconut flour we're doing one tablespoon of coconut oil and now we're doing two tablespoons of green onion all right so now we're just going to go ahead and make our meatballs I'm using an ice cream scooper to make sure that they're all somewhat of the same size so that they cook at the same rate [Music] all right so the meatballs are in the oven on 375 I'm gonna check them at about 25 minutes just to see how they are cooking cuz mine are way bigger than the ones that are in the recipe and the ones in the recipes that you should have like over 20 meatballs and I have 12 so the cooking times may vary but that size look makes sense for what I'm going for now I'm just going to go ahead and make it the sauce for the meatball all right so we're going to use 1/2 cup of liquid aminos basically tastes like soy sauce but a little bit healthier now we're doing 2 teaspoons of honey I'm just going to spray the spoon first so that the honey doesn't stick - wow that's my first time doing the spray trick and it really really worked thanks to all my subscribers who taught me that we're doing two tablespoons of fresh orange juice I guess fresh orange juice would actually be like squeeze juice of an orange but I'm using good old 'simply orange doing a half teaspoon of salt doing a half teaspoon of garlic 1/4 teaspoon of ginger and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of arrowroot starch I'm just going to whisk that together so the recipe says you can like save it on the side and actually decided I'm not going to do that you can also like toss the meatballs in it when they're done so that's what I'm going to do I'm going to put this to the side until the meatballs are so before we move on to anything else I'm just going ahead and making some tricolor quinoa and this is going to go with our beef balls and I'm also gonna be making some broccoli to go with our meatballs as well so it's got 2 cups of water in here and I'm adding 1 cup of quinoa now I'm moving on to the chicken this is for the bootable I'm just going to heat up some olive oil so that's makes it hot I'm going to throw my chicken in so now I'm just adding a teaspoon of garlic and a half teaspoon of paprika and we're going to add some salt and pepper as well okay so while that chicken is cooking I'm just going to add a good old jar of sweet peas a little classical tomato sauce to my spaghetti squash I'm going to mix that together and then assembly our spaghetti squash lasagna and put that in the fridge to make it one David alright I was gonna spray the bottom of the baking sheet a little bit you probably need to but I always do and then I'm going to make two layers and in between and on top of each layer I'm going to be doing some fresh mozzarella slices you can use shredded mozzarella parmesan cheese whatever you want but is how we're doing it today [Music] [Applause] [Music] so you can see there's like some seeds throughout here at that doesn't bother me you know you can grow the seeds and eat them with nothing to hurry up so that's right [Music] and the lasagna is ready you could totally bake that for like 350 for about a half an hour and then put it into individual meal prep containers but I'm gonna be making this as a meal for the family so I'm gonna leave it baked like so the chicken for our Buddha bowls it's about ready and I fear our turkey meatballs beefing and they'll end up cooking them for about a half an hour I was gonna put the meatballs in here and then add the sauce and talk them around before I put them into our individual meal prep containers [Music] all right I'm just gonna let these sit and cool off and I both our chicken and our quinoa is ready right now as well so before I assemble our Buddha bowls and our chicken meatballs and all of that I'm just going to make some it's called zero minute broccoli have never made it before but you need a half cup of water you also need this little steamer insert so put that in my 1/2 cup of water and put my broccoli in there [Music] I'm going to do a pressure cook for one minute okay Rapids does that hang back over here I'm adding a can of chickpeas or garbanzo beans I rinse them off and also adding back my butternut squash and now we're gonna add some green onion all right it was done moving back over to a quick relief [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so we have our meal prep lunches already I was letting them finish cooling off if I put them in the fridge it's super important they don't get like bacteria in there and the last thing that I'm making as a dinner slash lunch option it's going to be dinner for us though is the super fancy taco soup and favorably just throw a bunch of stuff into this bag here then when you want to go ahead and cook it can throw it into the instant pot or your crock pot I think I'm going to do this one as a crock-pot because that's one thing that I like about the crock pot versus the instant pot is that like you know just like smells up your house and cooks all day long and I like that cozy crock-pot feel so anyway you're going to need two chicken breasts or one pound of chicken we're doing one thing of taco seasoning if you have homemade tacos to using they say about three tablespoons for that and we have a 1 cup of mild salsa one can of petite diced tomatoes 1 can of rinsed black beans 1 can of drained sweet corn 1 can of rinsed pinto beans and then last but not least we have 2 cups of chicken stock you can also use chicken broth I just going to zip this up I had to have this for dinner tomorrow night where the following thing and I'm sure that you could cook a the instant pot too but when I do it in the crock pot I do a high for four hours or low for six to eight hours alright so we are moving on to our instant pot egg whites that they are supposed to be like Starbucks burger great things about them so I have four eggs in here I'm going to be blending it in my nutribullet that's the balance one they have cups of cheddar cheese we're going to do a one teaspoon of any kind of like hot sauce I'm using Tabasco this is 1/4 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese we're just gonna go ahead and blend this all together should also mention that at 12:41 I am and I'm making egg bite and I still have muffins and a lava cake to make but it'll all be worth it and you should definitely subscribe now I'm just going to add some salt and pepper going to spray my molds they're from Amazon put a very small amount of bacon and spinach into each one [Music] I'm just gonna cover this with a little bit of parchment paper [Applause] let's pray that these turn out this okay so I have my little basket in here I'm going to add one cup of water I'm gonna add my egg bite make sure I'm set to sealing and then I am going to do steam for eight minutes okay so my oven is on 350 I'm gonna go ahead and make there like a blueberry protein muffin that's like a really really good no protein powder just you get the protein from plain Greek yogurt the eggs are still like doing they're like releasing thing and they still have a few more minutes in the instant pot so I have 2 cups of the gluten-free flour I have a 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of baking soda and then a 1/2 teaspoon of salt I'm also adding in a cup of old-fashioned oats 1/3 cup of sugar I did a lot less than the recipe called port so I'm just going to mix all my dry ingredients together moving on to our wet ingredients you can see I already have 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in here and now I'm adding one and a half cups of plain Greek yogurt we're doing 2 tablespoons of honey again I sprayed it with some cooking spray I have two eggs lightly beaten we're doing four tablespoons of butter just a half stick I'm gonna stir everything now I'm going to stir our let mixture into our dry mixture now I'm just going to fold in about a cup of blueberries [Music] [Music] all right so we let it do its thing on Steam for nine minutes and then we let it natural release for ten minutes which I had to Google and let's just pray that came out good because I really really love the ones from Starbucks they look really good to me I'm gonna let them cool off for a little bit now for the moment that I've been waiting for all night and that's been motivating me to keep going at 1:40 a.m. oh my gosh it's one stick of butter and one cup of chocolate chip and I melt this for two minutes in the microwave alright so this is done now I'm adding in one cup of powdered sugar I mean this is a real decadent treat I'm not saying this is like part of our healthy meal prep this is what you get for staying up til 2:00 a.m. and cooking though so now I'm adding in three eggs and one egg now we're adding in six tablespoons of flour and I don't know the matches before but we're gluten free so we use gluten-free flour I'm also adding one tablespoon of vanilla extract so I sprayed my little ramekins and I'm just going to fill those with our mixture all right so I have my trivia and I'm adding two cups of water look at me saying trifid it's like I'm a real instant pop person now like really had to make that fit it that was really hard to fit and then I crooked so let's just you know what I say hey then I go as well [Applause] we're on ceiling okay so you see what it says more we're on nine minutes we're on pressure-cook and let us pray our muffin chef all right I'm super tired but super excited this just ended I'm going to do it quick remove that's done let's see look they look wet but they're actually hard so I'm gonna take them Alan [Music] [Music] maybe after 2:00 a.m. but it was totally worth it just for this lava cake I can't believe like I was petrified of an instant pot for years and it's insanely easy like you need to get one so easy looks just like Starbucks but $100 cheaper all right and thank you so much for watching this Altima Twiggy meal prep cook with me video I hope that it gave you some ideas or some motivation to cook for your week ahead because although it took a long time because I'd have to wait till I for my kids closely to get anything done we'll be able to have meals for the rest of the week breakfast lunch dinner and even some snacks so if you make any of these recipes I would love if you tag me on social media on instagram @ TV Beeston and then let me know if you want this to turn into a monthly series because if you like it we will totally turn it into a monthly series but don't forget to subscribe and give this video a thumbs up [Music] you
