whoa whoa jeez almost fell off the [Music] bik got our pass far go and got a map stuff all right let's do it don't forget you see get in trouble around these parts we don't have you no overnight cing [Music] sexier than a bike helmet baby we're actually going to go anticlockwise [Music] oh woohoo how good is this Jasper this is awesome I got to ride faster to get rid of these bloody flies get some good footage back there Mom [Music] woohoo # bik riding around the RO this is awesome I highly recommend this [Music] [Music] hey back there Katie w we made it around for the first time a totle 15 km hey how about that we made it what do you think about that J that was awesome I loved it Best Day Ever wow okay big call now I did sort of I guess hint at the the point of thinking that $75 was a bit steep to hire a bike to then self ride around duoo now we have completed it and given that we didn't have to bring our own bikes well one we don't have any and two it means reduce the probably total of 50 or 60 kilo from our our total touring weight absolutely worth it and with a 25% discount at the time of recording that they're currently offering on all Northern Territory activities and experiences absolutely worth every penny what do you think Katie it was amazing yeah I loved it it was uh nice to have a fresh perspective too on oolaroo and to be able to get around the whole base of the rock um and something really cool that they do is that if you're out here in the accommodation and then you don't have you're not towing anything you're staying in the the various Acom or you're flying in yeah they'll transfer you from the resort to pick up your bik so it's accessible to everybody absolutely love that and how good was the audio TOA oh that was so worth the 1999 to download that app they've done a fantastic job the presentation is polished it's concise the information is valuable I think and relevant they cover a flora fora uh the history the culture from European settlement and and obviously the uh 50 odd th000 years before settlement so very well done and very educational but entertaining as well and I think we all really appreciated that uh that it's GPS tagged is excellent because all of a sudden it just kicks in and what we did is we just bluetoothed it to our JBL speaker put that in the back of my bag might have added another kilo or two but gee it was good to have that beautiful Rich sound just oh and it just just came on and gave us all the information just at the right time it's like magic wasn't it Jasper yeah all right we're almost back to the cultural center we'll probably have a a little bit of a rest when we get back and thenn cold drink and some lunch I think yes and then we'll get ourselves ready for damper at sunset at oloo Magic going to sleep well tonight can you see that we finally succumb to the fly Nets if finally there weren't flies this would be a 10 out of 10 experience wa wa jeez almost fell off in the bik this is the best day ever [Music] [Music] oh wow that was amazing we just went around the entire po I I I loved it I definitely recommend you do it I Lov it yeah yeah really [Music] good so good [Music] [Music] [Applause] he [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Music] [Music] [Music] what is this Sunset full room amazing we absolutely love it out here now we're cooking up a damper and I've gone for my famous Outback inspired lemon Myrtle Macadamia all of the flavors of Australia we've got the Ziggy so this is a first for us we've cooked on the weather plenty but cooking a damper on the Ziggy keep my fingers crossed it is a little bit hotter than the Weber so I think we'll check it a little bit earlier now this damper recipe is up on our website so you can find it there in our blogs section and we'll pop it in this week's e newss as well so you've got direct access to it give it a try let us know what you think and if you love that flavor combination we absolutely do all right time to get it on just going to score the top of it a little bit get that nice pattern on top and time to PO it in PA oloo triet ready to [Music] go all right not sure how long we normally leave the damper on the web bar for anything from sort of half an hour to 45 minutes depending on the heat and obviously how wet that dough mixture is not really sure with the Ziggy I'm just going to keep my eye on it and when it starts to go golden brown on the top we test it and hopefully it'll be perfect [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] he [Music] he [Music] [Music] kaj Judah formerly known as the AAR this will blow your mind if you're impressed by aaro standing a couple hundred meters taller these outline groups of Boulders as they are seen from at least 50 km away back there at the resort up already huge from that perspective and then to get up this close wow okay now there are a couple of things that uh have changed since we were last here the first one is that you're not allowed to film on the Valley of the Winds walk that's no photography still or video uh you're allowed to capture Flora fora people but certainly not any of the giant rock formations uh it is regarded as a sensitive area and that's something that they're now enforcing so we're standing out here just to do piece just to tell you a little bit more about it now there's two main walks the Valley of the Winds it's a 7.4 km return loop from this particular point which is 2.2 km return from the main car park and this is up to the first Lookout known as Caro even coming up to this point here it is as though you've been transported to another land the location is stunning how vibrant and green it is against that rich oers and red Earth and the Red Rock formations is absolutely a stunning contrast given with the blue sky day this is the time of year to come out here now there is also another walk known as Wala Gorge which has a family we did a few years back it's about 2.6 km return walk very easy from the car park and again with those towering Cliff edges you are allowed to film there so we will head over to there next and show you some of that dramatic landscape however allow about an hour from the campground to come out here to katad Juda that allows you to stop and take a good 20 to 30 minutes at the sand June viewing platform which gives you the entire lay of land of katad Juda in the distance about 15 km away it's also a perfect spot for Sunrise or if you're after a sunset you can head out here there is a sunset viewing area as well which would be stunning now the Valley of the Winds is a great fall hike so make sure you've got all the appropriate gear maybe some walking sticks there are a couple of drinking water fill points along the way to keep you hydrated and you want to make sure you're probably setting off before 11:00 a.m. and there are also warning point that if it is extremely hot that is over 36° C then the track is actually closed so set off early you'll have an amazing time and enjoy this incredible landscape [Music] what is so amazing here at kaj Judah is that unlike oaro that's referred to as a monolith meaning one rock the olus or katuda is made up of trillions if not more individual rocks and boulders and this is a perfect example of it here at Wala Gorge and this is something that we didn't know until this visit these domes are all of these rocks and Pebbles they've been washed here from Inland Seas over hundreds of millions of years and they've accumulated here and being almost glued together by mud which is solidified and then of course caused these incredible domes that rise hundreds of meters in fact at its highest point kajuta is over 500 M tall I think that is about 200 M taller than oaro so it is so impressive and we love coming into this Wala Gorge walk because you get that true sense of just how incredible these domes are and you honestly you feel so small down here so insignificant amongst these Giants it's very humbling [Music] he [Applause] [Music] [Applause] thanks for watching please do like subscribe and share our Channel and if you'd like more information on full-time RV travel and living visit our say on the bike again all right here we [Music] go well done congratulations high five [Music] w you I love you this is um one of the best Spike rides we could have ever done I really like it on on
