Ultimate Food Tour Of VICTORIA 🇨🇦 British Columbia! BEST Restaurants Food Guide

all right dvw fam so we're in a really cool town right now called Victoria on Vancouver Island it is the capital of British Columbia has a lot of British influence here it's a nice cozy little coastal town here anna there's a lot of cool things to see do and eat so in this video we're going to show you just that and take you along with us and find some great eats here on the island so let's check out Victoria let's go yo so we are in downtown right now Victoria some cool pubs Chinatown is over there say hello I know looks pretty nice it sounds very cute and quaint yeah it's very cozy it's like a little British Town kind of has a European Flair we are downtown though so there's a lot of like eateries I noticed a lot of Italian food a lot of tapa spots a lot of bars for beer of course because it is cold beer always hits in the cold weather all right so we are in Canada and we see this place called the Drake so we're gonna check it out some craft beer Local eats all right guys so first stop in Victoria is this little cozy um Brewery Bar pub called the Drake we walked in because it's called the Drake and we are in Canada shout out to OVO Drizzy but I feel like I'm gonna use that word cozy a lot I don't know if it's because it's cold or because like just like the town like looks really cute Point has that European Touch British touch well we noticed that in Vancouver as well but in Victoria it's just a little bit more compact Cozier I got a BC it stands for British Columbia Brew right here it's a Belgian blonde I love blondes and uh this is why I got Leia got a also a British Columbia ale cider cider really good I think it's also from British Columbia so apple cider yeah there's a bunch of breweries in California but while we're here we thought to try the Canadian British Columbia Brew so let's check it out tasty it's a strong cider stronger than what I normally get but it's good I'm trying my British Columbia blonde oh foreign sweeter than usual blonde Belgian it always taste like food guys like taste all the carbs in there really weedy but it's light and it's a has a hint of that sweetness fruitiness gonna chill here maybe I'll finish our brew and then on to our next adventure in Victoria mid this is a chill day it's a traveling day for us just got here so probably just gonna hit a restaurant walk around chill day and then tomorrow is going to be full day at the Victoria gonna hit the butcher Gardens maybe the empress for some high tea and really tour the whole city so see you guys at the next spot all right one Belgian wheat deep and on to our next location in downtown Victoria we're gonna get dinner at an Italian restaurant so yeah our first dinner in Victoria guys it is absolutely popping in here back to the brim we got very lucky we're in a long line and we're at the end of the line we just got here yeah so the waitress came out and asked if there's any party for two and we're the only party for two so they're able to see us but this restaurant looks very popular all the seats are full so make sure you guys have a reservation really cool decoration in here is like an Italian restaurant kind of like a lot of baseball decorations in here so a little bit of a American vibe in here too so yeah can't wait to try the food we gotta start with bread and butter of course well actually just easy garlic bread I think the garlic bread very soft so they got a live music in here too so dinner and a show [Music] all right this is apparently a popular item here the Dodgers duck wings right here let's check it out right some sauce I didn't mention the head chef here he's Indian but it doesn't have like an Indian taste kind of it's like a Teriyaki almost pie glaze it just falls apart it's so tender notice I've seen a lot of Duff items all throughout Vancouver and it's pretty right here guys it's probably sauce like on aioli with a lot of herbs in it it's a good sauce good creamy there's some good Wings though guys good duck wings indeed I really dig it it's like a crispy fatty or chicken wing blade doesn't even like Duck but she loves These Wings right so these These are pull another level you said there's a whole nother level of deliciousness baby all right guys in honor of Emma Darcy I got a Negroni spagliato we're Prosecco in it I'm just kidding it's just got a Negroni on top apparently it's a Italian drink right so that Italian spot let's try it out kind of strong a little sweet has an orange peel in it orange Spritz a little bit fruity a little bit of on the hard side but tasty oh so there's some Dungeness crab in here say when you're on an island get the seafood that's what we did has Dungeness crab in here baby shrimp rock crab dry sauce and you could taste the Dungeness crab in the sauce of this pasta super cheesy thick it's basically kind of like a lasagna of crab and shrimp oh you can definitely taste the sea in this pasta delicious I would recommend we took some of the pasta to go it was very filling but there's always room for dessert House made vanilla ice cream how's it really really okay there's one scoop or two so cold right now but it's always time for ice cream let's try it out boom we are so thick oh very creamy too and sweet it was amazing Italian food experience our first sit-down restaurant here in Vancouver Island Victoria success so follow us along on our next location on the island let's go all right y'all so for our next stop in Victoria next restaurant nice thing to do we're a little Japanese sushi type of spot nubo has like some of the top reviews here in the city and you know there's a huge Japanese population here in Vancouver so the Japanese food should be good and it's great so far [Music] as your first time at Izakaya if you guys don't know what Izakaya is like a Japanese Tapas so they'll have like small grilled items Sashimi Sushi of quarto kind of like Japanese Papa's not Spanish tapas mm-hmm we are in the Pacific Northwest I thought this um fish came from here because all the salmon have been really good here so far but they say they import a fresh ingredients from Japan so it while salmon look how red it is oh they say they use fresh ingredients here so let's try this out so tender I always eats is carbs to it if salmon Here Is So Fresh So Clean so clean tasting oh that's good they weren't lying fresh ingredients let me try this tutorial right here right oh super tender oh I don't know why I don't know if you guys agree with me but out of all the core positive Hamachi just fits different and there's only Hamachi Carpaccio here which is why we got it I mean the chef basically marinates the fish however he sees fit so that's why it's so good because it's a theoretically it's perfectly marinated but I'm not possible hits different this how much is playing hmm guys this spot was really good I really like the wild salmon and the yellow toe Hamachi I feel like this place is like a Hidden Gem definitely give a 10 out of 10 dvw score glad I checked out this place they have a lot of great reviews for a reason guys so yeah on to our next location let's go so we walked everywhere around this town and it was great for us eating all this food to walk off the calories because apparently they don't have Ubers here but the wok was really beautiful so it was a win-win situation but yeah this was the Fisherman Wharf really cool area to walk around there's a couple of restaurants here but one of the top ones is this little Shack called the fish store they had fish and chips of course and we got a salmon chowder with an ale to warm us up from this cold weather and of course some fish right here we got the fish taco with Cod and some premium halibut fish and chips it was great really tasty I loved all the fish and chips here in VC British Columbia the food was great and you always gotta get seafood at a Fisherman's Wharf so yeah guys the food here was a success one of my favorite spots that we ate on this trip in Victoria so yeah guys that was our little food tour we definitely hit up more spots we went to try some high tea and tore the rest of the town to show you guys some things to do so make sure you guys tune in
