Tyler The Creator Rejects Jerrod Carmichael | Joe Budden Responds

I want to start with Jared carmichel okay I saw the clip it went around but I didn't see interesting place to start I know different from our normal start M but worthy of a start nonetheless jarro Carmichael the comedian has a show on HBO called the Jared carmichel show MH only one episode is out all of the clips going around are of him kicking it to Tyler the Creator and that's the that's the Hot Topic of the show but let me tell you it's way more Awkward watching it on the show this is this is his version of The Truman Show okay okay so he is just putting a camera places that normally wouldn't have a camera and this is phase two of him coming out I feel like he came out the closet last spring or the spring before that two years ago years ago you know his career seemed like it was on the up and up and then he came out and then he had words with Dave Chappelle which can't be the greatest in comedy land probably not and now there's this this show where the the thumbnail the picture of the show is him and his drawers right the show comes on and he's a DOT I mean there mean there's no other way this nigga's a tht he's on there just professing his love to I mean his lover his lover comes on well who I thought was his lover they seem lover is and tall white dude with a mask on and goggles and he's basically saying them yo what the [ __ ] are these cameras I don't want to be on these cameras what are you doing like there's a difference between public private and this kind of just uh exploitation that you're doing are you thinking about how this affects the people that love you the people that are in your life the other people participating in genuine or scripted no no no there's nothing that seems scripted on this show with the white dude yes okay there's absolutely nothing that seems scripted uh it didn't come off as a comedy to me and I couldn't cut it off this is this is The Truman Show version of like pose um let's get this is the what's that other uh gay show not po the other one p Valley oh it's like The Truman Show version the go ahead though P Valley is not a gay show has elements but go ahead P Valley's a gay show okay um yeah this was he asked Tyler the Creator to go to the Emmys with him okay mhm he text that okay and kind of in his confessional he's telling the audience about how you know he fell in love with his best friend so he text him and asked him to go to the emies and Tyler's response was ha haaa you stupid [ __ ] sound like Tyler and he was pretty hurt by that so we hit him again like hey I think we should have a conversation so Tyler comes over and they start filming filming the conversation but it looked like you know Truman Show it looked like y'all taping some [ __ ] y'all ain't supposed to tape Tyler sitting there and he gaslit his gay okay it was the greatest thing to watch as as a former gaslighter Tyler's Gaslight is wild so Gerard sitting here saying hey man about the text you know why wouldn't you go why would you respond like that you seem distant you're acting different and Tyler was like yeah man I just didn't think that that one sentence would cause such a big riff between us it's like I'm busy I I can't go to the emies with you and that's that but Gerard carmichel is sitting there all y'all done dumped a girl before so he's sitting there with the gay [ __ ] got dumped face oh [ __ ] by a man who I'm not even certain Tyler's come out the closet so there's like this Inu window and Gerard's got a boyfriend yeah this nigga's a bird this nigga's a th he just trying to kick it to well fall in love he loved Tyler and Tyler just dubbed him ordered some food said hey man we done are you good like anything straight and then everybody was sad for Jared Carmichael and there's only one episode so far only one episode out you got to watch it I watch is was H it's on HBO you won't you won't be able to turn it off I wish that y'all saw it so we could Converse about Deep dive on it I think that might be where do y'all where do y'all think where do you think what do you think this type of show does for Jared Carmichael's comedy career well you said this is not comedy though right no this wasn't comedy at all pivoting you don't think that it's I haven't seen it so I didn't he just have a show though called the Jared karco show that was a comedy that was a comedy was great that was a that was a really good show I remember that show it had one season right [ __ ] I never watched the Jared I'm saying he had a show like a year or two ago called the Jared Carmichael show and it was like a comedy esque um um sitcom like he had a sitcom um since he's come out he was like budy he was on the rise it does seem like to answer your question it does seem like this is a hard left full-fledged I am embracing who I am and I'm not only embracing it I'm advertising it I'm making it a part of my thing no matter how I'm looked at in comedy it it does appear that way I think there could be value in making a behind the scenes show for his comedy career potentially I don't know where asking your friends out on dates is gonna help although that sounds like a funny premise potentially I haven't seen it but it's it's giving me like Curb Your Enthusiasm Vibes maybe like the no it's giving me desperation no and don't say nothing about curbs in this conversation curb or that don't say nothing that rhyme with curve okay real don't don't say that he don't say he's soft launching anything anywhere certain terms we're going to leave out of this conversation uh he what do y'all think about him trying to [ __ ] Tyler well I mean Tyler didn't he have like I don't know like I don't know it's hard it's hard to believe what anybody says let me ask you this do you think he [ __ ] Tyler based on what you just describe he's basically saying yo fam we have a certain level of relationship we have a certain level of Rapport and I feel like you [ __ ] on me see this is where I don't want to get too far down the rabbit hole cuz when I open up my phone they was talking about Tyler dubbed him because Tyler only like white boys see the thing with Tyler jar might not have beat before but but on the show Jared seems to be the Gerard seems to be the one that's the the damn Gerard is the one that is laying his head on Tyler's shoulder okay like he seems like the the the Fe the feminine yeah yeah okay I mean and and Tyler's last album was too hard for him to be the hey if DJ Drama screaming all over the album then the other guys defend but he was a tall F my [ __ ] not going we can move on we've all been in relationships before we don't feel like [ __ ] with the person no more and you trying to let them down easy because you [ __ ] with them but you don't want to [ __ ] with them in that capacity no more and that's the direction you go that's you do you brush it off you haha K you so funny girl like you don't really want to I want to be an [ __ ] cuz we fly emies is a big [ __ ] deal it's a red carpet like so if I don't want to present with you then yeah see that's what I want to talk about right if if if I never came out as gay or by cuz I don't know Tyler I don't know Tyler play so much you don't know that's what I'm he played he done said things him and Frank Ocean I feel like there need to be certain gay B Unwritten rules if I never came out and my friend who I might have [ __ ] came out then don't be publicly trying to court me and bag me don't invite me to the em like you blowing the spot up actually but Tyler's G on stage and said yo Jaden Smith is my boyfriend or some [ __ ] like didn't issue before dog I might he might like him in a way that we play like that the same way we'll play with certain girls that we won't play with that that the the other ones that we don't really [ __ ] with like that him saying him him playing with uh what's the kid's name j Jaden Smith him playing with jadden Smith don't necessarily mean I got to play with Jared carmichel like that no you're right but you saying don't if you come out don't yo yo yo Tyler ordered some food in the middle of them [ __ ] having the heart heart talk Gerard said oh I forgot you ordered some food cuz Ty waved the waitress brought in some burgers and [ __ ] J oh I forgot you I'm trying to be dismissive I'm trying to be dismissive you're not letting me be dismissive I'm trying not to hurt your feelings the same way we've let girls down before or a girl might have let us down but she want to keep the friendship open that's what that is we can't eat in the girl space we can't eat a burger and fries while she's professing her [ __ ] love to us can't [ __ ] I think yall are dog that's when you really trying to show her like defin me and you done had the crying damel in front of us saying oh my God I will do anything in the world to be with you how can I make this right oh I want you what why are you acting funny to me you can't eat [ __ ] french fries in her face stay right there yeah answer me first now I'm about to answer you it's awkward one they being filmed this nigga's a mega star so I can't really have this conversation on camera question first before you get it to them I've definitely us with no C it's awkward with us you try to be as can we eat fries in her face I wouldn't me neither but I would try to be as polite as possible but again you can't really just [ __ ] on them if you trying to let somebody down and you know that they probably just going to weigh on them emotionally are you going to
