Tuning My Modified Subaru WRX!

so before we start today's video i had to plug in the cop access port to the computer load up a new map from my tuner so we can send them some more data logs of the wrx as you can see we've got a new map right here yeah right after this we're going to wash the wx because this thing is super dirty so let's go and do that right now [Music] [Music] thank uh so [Music] [Music] bye [Music] as you guys saw we did some work with the access port so we are actually doing some data logging right now or data logging however you want to say i'm already on ron watson's first base map he just sent me over another map to flash into the car which we just did so we got to send him a cruising log right now and also a third gear wide open throttle um data log to send over to him through email just to kind of test my car out see how it's running uh hopefully it's good after this map right here but i just decided to bring you guys along with me today while we data log so i can give you guys kind of like a just like an impression of how the tuning is with the wx how it feels and you guys get to hear the cool noises that come from it [Music] if you guys have been watching the channel we have been running the cobb stage two plus tune well first it was stage two and then we moved over to stage two plus when we installed the cobb intake i ran that off-the-shelf tune for a while and a lot of you guys were flaming me and telling me to get this car pro-tuned i should have listened sooner because honestly the car feels so much better with ron watson's tunes just the basemap be sent over the car feels so much more smooth it's hard to explain like you just really have to try it out yourself uh and get a feel for what i'm talking about just feels so smooth it feels more linear throughout the power band and uh it just feels more like safe and reliable as weird as that sounds i don't know just the feeling of driving it you just feel way more i guess you can say safe [Music] [Music] some pops i was very skeptical when i was buying this car i was debating between the sti or the wx and uh to be honest i was i was sleeping on the f820 uh and the way it sounds with the equal length manifold it's very high pitched and like i said i was sleeping on it you know i wasn't really a big fan of it with the turbo on the wrx it makes the fa sound so much better it's a nice whistle when you're cruising it's i'll put some clips right here to show you guys [Music] [Music] and [Music] [Music] dude that sounds so good oh my gosh this car just makes all the right noises [Music] second gear feels the best second and third gear i don't really like to do first gear pools because i don't know it just seems sketch oh my gosh [Music] all right we're just about getting ready for our third gear pool trying to go in a spot where i know plenty of space to do a wide open throttle here we go dude i like barely made it there's like a car in front of me that definitely felt way better than the first time we got our data logs out the way got a cruising log as well as the wide open throttle we should be good to go with that we're going to send those over to him [Music] what do you guys off of everything [Music] wow look at the view it's so sick yeah we can get some shots of the wx i always a lot of you guys ask me what um camera i use to take my photos for instagram and it's honestly just my iphone 12 guys shout out to the cruising drop i always take my pictures with this and it looks good you know i'm not too big on like pictures and all that surprisingly i don't know how to use like a camera if that makes sense like i don't know how to mess with the settings and all that stuff to get like the perfect photos as far as camera usage i only hit record like to record videos and everything is on auto so i don't use any special settings or anything so good it looks like i have a lot of camber right here freshly cleaned it's always nice taking the car out after you give it a fresh wash i did the inside not too long ago as well so this thing is like squeaky clean [Music] all right that's gonna do it for a little photo shoot getting really dark out i'm probably gonna grab some food right now honestly this car has uh it's been quite a process it's been such a fun process really you know watching it go from stock straight from the dealership up until this point how it looks right now this whole process has been just such a blast honestly especially to share with you guys it's been such a blessing to me so shout out to all you guys watching for making this happen honestly i couldn't be any more happier with the wx you know when i got this car diving into this platform i knew nothing about this car whatsoever and by all means i'm not saying that i know everything about this car because i still do not you know i'm still pretty new to this platform and i'm learning as i go what are we like six six or so months in uh it's been a blast man i've enjoyed it it's been a learning process to say the least yeah with that being said that's pretty much all i got for you guys today it was a pretty random video not gonna lie i was not expecting to
