trying to build a JAPANESE BLOXBURG HOUSE... I hope I didn't fail

ah this is such a great restaurant i wonder what they have hmm hi sir how can i take your order on this lovely night uh yes um do you guys sell chicken here no but we have beef oh so we have beef huh we have beef all right i got a carrot i'm ready to go why am i holding a carrot i'm not in a restaurant i'm in my house oh god hey everyone welcome back to the channel today we are back here and a baloney don't mind the carrot it's not a weapon or anything i gotta dispose of the others so for today's a blockburg episode i thought i would attempt you know i would try an attempt at making myself a blackberry japanese house this is something i've been wanting to do for i would say a couple months now i've always wanted to make like a japanese house but they're always like very detailed like and i don't want to mess it up so i just never did it try my best to make hopefully a somewhat detailed japanese like traditional house please excuse me if i'm really bad at it i've never made a japanese house but i want to learn so i have been practicing a little bit over here not even just a little bit i think i did quite a lot you know i did quite a lot with this little practice build the house that i found use a lot of like white and browns which is perfect for me i love using brown it's kind of like a house that's on like a river or like a type of lake setting and then these decals they're from i believe ikatori who is also amazing builder i'll be putting her channel in the description but i've been using like some of these decals here to like give it a bit more details all right so we're on a brand new canvas now so we're gonna basically i'm gonna just recreate whatever i practiced but this is my inspiration right here this is the japanese house that i'm going to try to recreate uh it's a house sitting on top of a small river and it is very beautiful so let's go ahead and get started so i'm just basically building like um it's kind of like a tea but not really it's not really a tea one two three four five six three here and then four or here that is not four that is a three or here or here this three this way and we just kind of like connect it i think this is the shape i had but this is the shape so it starts out with four in the front you know one here three there and then we're gonna go ahead and put the roof on it and we're just gonna use an automatic gable roof not really exact i don't have um photos of every angle of the house but with um some good guessing i believe this would be the roof shape and then we start adding some pillars uh let's add these plain ones to each little corner now we will dye them brown i should probably do that first why didn't i do that first and then we're also going to add some wall trims as well some very nice wool trims and then we'll just wrap this around the house as well very simple so far like i said the house shape is i think pretty simple but the detailing is what makes it look really nice and i'm probably gonna fail at it but at least i tried you know i made a decent attempt i hope somebody can guess it as a japanese inspired house all right and then for the roof we'll use a metal roof we're gonna grab this full wall painting and we're gonna we're gonna put a decal on it so once again this is a um decal that comes from iketori once again i'll be leaving her uh channel in the description if you guys wanna check out her video she does a lot of amazing beautiful builds so yeah this is where this decal is from i like to use the modern square windows i don't know why but one day if possible i would love to see them add like more maybe like japanese style doors or japanese style wallpapers and stuff and then we're just going to add this window above it we'll put a window here and then we'll use a circular window i believe right here actually i don't know how that feel how i feel about that i think that's okay photo this is not on the actual house in the photo i'm just like adding random things and then for structurals we also have to add oh yeah i forgot the slanted roof oh my god i'm not done with the roof yet we gotta have a slanted roof in the front uh slanted roof let's bring this in and then we'll just kind of leave it like this crazy we have a bit more details to put in the front for sure i think it's okay i think it's okay all right let's get some structurals we're gonna use the standard small beams and then just uh draw some stuff we do something like this add some structurals to the front and the sides hey that doesn't look too bad okay it kind of looks weird it kind of looks oh the way i did that looks weird this is good i'm so i'm my biggest my biggest fear is disappointing people you know with this this atrocious attempt of a build it's going to add some more windows on this side of the house now i don't know about the doors though should i have doors everywhere like this if you definitely built like a japanese house before or you know a lot about japanese architecture you're probably like peter what is happening that's not correct okay okay all right okay okay and then i think i'll add another beam up here i think this is what they add this way one going that way and then we'll have another one over here oh how long have i spent i spent so far almost half an hour on the details on the outside let's go ahead and start making the porch for this now because uh there's a porch there's a porch we're gonna put this on top of a river we gotta have a nice porch for this oh oh oh oh it's coming together guys okay this part i really i can't really tell what textures or colors they're using for this i'm assuming it's just wood and then we'll just use the plywood and then of course they sort of like outline it with a metal fence but we're gonna make it wood so it looks like a wood fin we're just gonna wrap the porch all the way around the house i think that would be the best make sure it doesn't go inside the house we got to put this around i would like to think this is okay wow we have quite a bit of a porch space right here oh this looks kind of cute now look at it i kind of like the other side better look at this if you go over here this looks wow look at that i like that i like that i don't think i'm doing too bad of a job so far put some water all around it water water so we're going to put down a pool we'll use the shallow one because i'm i i don't want to spend too much money i just need to put rocks and stuff all around it i notice there's also like a pillar underneath as well is this a correct place to it is wow i'm so good i'm guessing where this stuff goes okay put one here pillars underneath the house for support maybe add some cherry blossom trees oh cherry blossom trees okay cherry blossom or trees are my favorite they're one of my favorite trees you know sakura trees and stuff i think this will add some nice scenery to it as [Music] let's well some big trees does that sound big cherry blossom trees what if i surrounded this whole area with like a courtyard like type fence thing too i know they have that right they have that oh i like the fence idea oh wow that's not a bad idea peta residential area you know this is a private lot you don't trespass here that's not good if you trespass i'm pretty sure people could tell this is like a japanese house now right i don't think i'm that bad of a builder to where like they cannot guess what it is unless you don't know japanese architecture i said i was gonna work on the inside of the house and i just continued working on this outside part what is this that's actually not a bad idea wrapping the house with a nice fence that does happen that does happen i have too many cherry blossom trees oh before i start decorating the inside i just want to show you guys the floor plan that i came up with so this will be a small bathroom right here a two by three not too bad this will be the kitchen area i think this would be like a living room area there's our floor plan um the exterior is coming together i do like the house the house isn't the i think we need a bit more work on the exterior and then i'm gonna go ahead and just start decorating the inside and we'll be back when everything is all done so yeah okay we're back okay we are finally done now guys i've uh furnished as much as i could on the inside while trying to keep it accurate as possible um the inside's gonna be something for sure but the outside is also there's a lot of cherry blossom trees i just surrounded the whole house with something like this japanese inspired house is finally complete so i i'm kind of proud of it i'm not sure if it's 100 accurate it's definitely not 100 accurate to you know like a traditional japanese house i kind of like mixed up traditional and a little bit of something else in there as you can see i put some lily pads into the water and why is it water and i also surround it with some rocks and a bit of a fencing so it's kind of like a more of a private yard it is but yeah there's like a little porch that's just wrapped around the house as it's floating on the water not too bad you can like definitely get a good view everywhere else you know it's like pretty it's pretty zen for sure but yeah this is just the outside it's okay i like it um let's go ahead and go to the inside though the inside i tried my best to okay the inside is okay i think as well this is my tatami mats um tatami mats are kind of confusing to put together in this game so i only did like a bit of it and then yeah i just kind of gave up but this is a tatami mat it's like one of those japanese tables it's called a kotatsu uh but i failed at making that i kind of failed i kind of failed but i put some uh ottomans on each side of the table and you got your cups and stuff and people just you know they just chill here drink their their teas and stuff and intruding out of the table but you know what i think it looks okay it looks kind of cool this is your like living room type area right here just one couch on the tv i didn't know what to do with this area this area looks kind of empty so i just put like some random clothes here but if you go straight through here this is where the kitchen is it's pretty minimal there's not a whole lot going on like crazy crazy detailing uh it's just your average kitchen your islands your counters you got your fridge and stuff but i do like i do kind of like it you know if we over here this is where the bathroom is and i think the bathroom is okay you got your tub you got your toilet your toilet paper you know all the things you need for your bathroom and i think it kind of it's kind of nice it's kind of cute in here there's on you know there's a door right here that leads you to the outside quite nice i like the amount of windows in this house it's very it makes the house feel a little bit bigger or more open i would say with all the windows and stuff and then last but not least we got ourselves the the bedroom and this one's okay so um the bed is more on the ground i just put like a roof here and then put the sleeping bags here a lot of beds in asia are kind of like lower than um american beds i believe i'm pretty sure this is very random but i think i kind of like this room and i think that's it that's all for the tour well that was my
