[Music] look at the scooter huh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] anybody want to stop now the race i'm the proudest i'm the most proud of i will i think gold coast 2018 that was a good race a complete race swim background i was kind of i was strong in these three disciplines uh strong all around and i think also myocar super league in 2018 was really good because i had i dropped my chain on the first stage of the triple mix and i and i stayed focused and still finished second behind henry and took the wind on the sunday so that was a good example to stay focused and and looking forward yeah so we're just gonna warm up in this forest here like do just like a loop cross the road and loop on the other side the the older i get and the the more careful i'm with my recovery so after every heart session i'm making sure i have my uh recovery shake or recover with moosie using my recovery boots uh getting a lot of sleep and i'm lucky enough to have a physio with me uh 24 7 so i'm making good use of him and uh yeah i think that's that's really important but i i'm trying to do all these details to recover the best what is he doing like nothing easy oh he's going to shutter yeah oh fair price that makes the joke more fun so the hardest session this week uh was set on the track a running set called michigan so basically you switch between a mile really solid like over race pace 2k tempo 1200 meters right more than ray space took a tempo of 800 meters really fast 2k tempo and then 400 almost all out so we did that on the track in front here 1800 meters attitude and that wasn't fun but that's one of the sessions that you know you're getting better after [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] my career is quite already behind me so i achieved a lot of goals that i have targeted uh world champ mixed really war champ european champ so yeah the the only thing i missed is the is the olympic middle uh i won the super league i won a lot of racism titles so now it's all about getting this olympic medal you know life as a triathlete is quite hard you're always tired as soon as you you step out of the bed you you feel pain somewhere or you feel you you're tired so you sometimes have to like shut down the body and and just keep going and trust your coach and trust the training plan so that's what i'm that's what i'm doing and uh even if i'm tired i try to commit to the session and uh i'm just really careful about the little niggles or pain i can have but uh i'm really motivated even after 15 years at high level so i'm i'm i'll never skip a session because i was lazy or tired it's it's hard for triathlete to skip to skip a session even if he's a sick or healed it's it's it's really hard and i would say when i was younger i would i would never skip a session i would just go and and and go hard even if i i had a cold or whatever but now i'm more i'm getting wiser i guess and i'm just trying to not get ill because i know i would have a hard time to skip a session [Applause] [Music] still [Music] sessions i'm lucky enough to to be part of the goal field squad and having joel uh most of the time with me and next to me during session so we check on each other every day but when we we we split apart and we are different part of the world we kind of trust each other and just having a routine to to call each other every every other day but yeah mostly we we spend a lot of time together on camps and we we look here enough to to have an eye on each other almost every day so if i i would have to say my worst habit um that that's something i'm uh i'm really i don't know uh i'm really meticulous about things so it's it's hard to to live with me sometimes i won't say i'm a maniac but it's it's hard for me to see something like hanging around and not being clean or not being like in in his play in its place it's it's it's kind of hard for me and i like the things to be to be clean and in order so yeah as soon as you as soon as you know that you you know who am i and now uh how i'm working yeah we have optional strides [Music] did [Music] minute [Music] um i'm coming from a swimming background so if i would have to pick a discipline i i don't really like to do is mostly swimming and you know it's the water is always too cold on all these all these things you never get too motivated to to go on your bus and sit and drop into the water so yeah i would like to pick the stream even if i kind of still like swimming if i would have to pick a place that i really like and the best place i've ever visit i would say tulum in in mexico that was a really nice place really really peaceful and uh really nice for for holidays actually i went there in 2018 with taylor and i also really like los angeles that's where she's from and uh it's a it's a really nice city you can find everywhere [Music] [Music] [Applause] so personally my ideal day will be early wake up because i'm a morning person and i like to do the things early in the morning and i just like that it's quiet and peaceful and it just seems you have plenty of time in front of you a good breakfast with some french some fresh french bread and yeah quick training not too hot but still with a with a good session when i feel good and i'm not i'm not good cook so i will i will enjoy a little restaurant to finish the day 745 i hope you enjoyed that day and stay tuned and take care
