good morning here's another three talk you know we were in a pecan orchard last week up in a tree don't plant a tree too deep and this really applies to what you do in your yard also if you'll notice this is a root right here so this tree came out of the nursery about right there we want that up out of the ground and if we do that it'll put out roots all down in here and they'll wind up being brace roots so that the tree has a good foundation and and and that's what it's made that's what it's made to happen if you plant it too deep it won't put out brace roots right here and then you'll get a wind at the wrong time of the year and that tree will actually break underground and fall over and you've lost it so it's real important to have the tree up out of the ground and much more dangerous if you plant it too deep this of this tree wrap protects the tree from several things you can have a freeze and in the spring if the Sun comes out and everything wolves it's that tree he'll warm up and you'll start getting SAP rising and then you get a big freeze and you can kill the tree so the white reflects the Sun and the tree stays cooler and that happens it also protects it maybe from some herbicide that we spray
