Transfer Excel List to dropdown field in PDF with single click

hello welcome to adobe code in this video i'm going to show you how to transfer excel data like this excel data to a drop down field in the pdf okay let's start let let first create a drop down it is a drop down [Music] see i have created a drop down and the name of the drop down i will put the two okay d2 just rename the field to d2 and let's save it okay this is the drop down as you can see there is no data in it and the drop down is completely completely empty and if you want to add something into it then you can do it from here and the point is if you have to add one or two data then you can do it do it easily but what if you want to add a bunch of data like this let's say you have to add a whole 193 country into a drop down then it is very tedious to add all by manually or you must you may have more than this data let's say 200 300 items to add a drop down and it will become very tedious and problem to get added by manually okay in this in this video i'm going to add this all this with just a single click and what i'm going to do is to create a text field multi-line here to do this magic okay as you can see i have created a multi-line field and we will now do what we do is to add select all these country name copy it go to text file just paste and now you can see the data is in okay one minute the problem is here i have to do the scroll long text we have to on check mark this option and we will do one more time just copy all data open the pdf and just paste it now you can see save it and now you can see the all country name are here from the excel sheet which is very easy and you have to just do the copy paste but how you will transfer this data to this for this just rename this to d1 remember name of this field this text field multi-line text field with the scroller on here you can see you have to put the name d1 and the drop down in which you want the data you have to put the name d2 like this and i'm going to use my tool just click on add-on tool click this button transfer to dd and boom you can see now you have all data transferred to this drop down see all continue is now in this drop down to get this to check the description box and proceed with the instruction all you have to do is to rename the text field d1 and drop down name as d2 put the excel data into this text field and just click the button and all data will get copied from the this text field to this drop down thank you
