[Music] hey everyone holly here and today i'm going to be talking about fun things to do in naples florida with kids now a lot of people think that naples florida is strictly a retirement community that is not true we have been to naples florida with our kids and we had a fantastic time so today i'm going to talk about fun things that we enjoy doing there with our kids before i get started on tin city is a shopping and restaurant venue that is located down there by the water it's kind of in that marina area tin city has a lot of fun shops and eateries and there's also some shops that our kids really enjoyed just checking out but the thing that made tin city the best for them was all the coin operated rides there they had a blast just trying out all these different rides so bring a roll of quarters and let them have fun on all the rides also in tin city is the only pressed pedi machine in naples florida so if you enjoy those sort of souvenirs an inexpensive souvenir for your kids you'll want to go and check out that also down at tin city they offer a lot of boat cruises and chores i think that would be a really fun thing to do with kids now we didn't actually do it on our last trip i think we might on our next but i think it would be a great thing to do with kids taking them out in the water and checking out some sea life but overall it's just a fun area down there just to walk around see the boats also being down by the water you're gonna get a lot of great seafood restaurants we enjoyed eating at pinterest which was a wonderful family-friendly restaurant that offered a lot for the kids okay next on the list is naples zoo and caribbean gardens now naples zoo is not a really big zoo but they offer a lot not only is there plenty of great exotic animals to check out and view but they also have a cool giraffe display there where you can actually feed the giraffes for an extra fee the landscape at the naples zoo is beautiful the naples zoo used to be caribbean gardens before it became a zoo and they have kept up with all the tropical lush gardens there and it is just a fun place just to walk around they have their own little lake there and on the lake they have a boat cruise you can take and this is included with your admission into the zoo and i highly recommend doing this boat cruise with your kids they take you over to all these islands where you can view all the monkeys that are at the zoo also at the zoo they have a great playground so if your kids like to unwind and get their wiggles out on a playground they offer that as well also at the zoo they had all these great animal lego displays and these were the actual size of each animal we had so much fun just looking at all of them it was a pleasant surprise that is for sure i think we had more fun looking at the lego animals than we did the real animals there as well as the animals they also had all these other cool lego exhibits so as you can see the zoo in naples was definitely a fun time next on the list is cambrier park cambria park is located kind of in the downtown area of naples florida they have the coolest playground there this playground is massive and it's not only well-built but it is creative and colorful our kids just had so much fun exploring there they could have spent hours there so if your kids enjoy a good playground i highly recommend taking them their pack a picnic lunch spend a couple hours at this park and playground you will just see that your kids will have a blast there and the best thing about parks like these they are free that's always a plus number one on my list it is a given the beach is going to be the best place to visit in naples florida with kids the day at the beach is going to be a fun day so if you guys like doing beaches on your vacation the beaches in naples florida not only offer nice clear blue water but warm water we were there in january and our kids were able to swim in the water and the sand there was so soft and powdery hours of fun where the kids can build and create bury each other in the sand it was definitely a fun time at the beach there also collecting seashells up and down the beach is a lot of fun again the beaches and navals offered that so you have miles and miles of beautiful beaches in naples enough said a beach is always going to be a fun day not only for the kids but for the parents too it's usually a pretty relaxing time i definitely had to mention that as being the number one thing to do there's definitely something magical about a day at the beach with the kids okay one honorable mention is the naples pier now if you enjoy fishing you can take your fishing gear and go all the way out on the end of the naples pier with your kids for some fishing but if you don't enjoy fishing i just recommend taking a walk out there with them it's a really fun view just to look out at the ocean and the sunsets there are beautiful alright well that is all i have for you today
