fan of this genre with over 500 hours in X4 and I've recently been playing space born 2 and space rain both games which I covered on the channel if you're into a boundless expanse of stars planets and Endless Possibilities then space simulations are for you for gamers like us at LT gaming the allert of exploring the cosmos commanding starships and engaging in Epic Space Battles has always been irresistible just look at how popular Star Trek bridge Commander is on our channel the games I've picked out today range from daring exploration to intense Interstellar combat these games promise to deliver Unforgettable experiences that will transport you to galaxies far far away but before we dive into the Stars let's take a moment to reflect on the legacy of space simulators from classics like Elite and Wing Commander to Modern Marvel such as no man's sky and Star Citizen well you know most of the time when that game works it kind of blows me away but then I just can't play it because of all the bugs but anyway these games have captured the imaginations of millions fueling our dreams of interstellar adventure and they really do drive me as a gamer over the years we've witnessed the evolution of space simulators from humble beginnings to groundbreaking Innovations and now as we gaze towards the horiz of 2024 a new generation of space games is poised to redefine the genre once again for me one of my all-time favorites is X4 and there will be more on that later in the list as always LT Gamers these lists are totally subjective and they're my opinion at this moment in time so also a dream one for a Starship lover like me if you're into Star Trek I think this game is an absolute no-brainer the game is a long-term project but I wanted to cover it on this list as the letter to Classic space sims with all the excitement and Adventure you'd expect from that type of game there is a demo available on Steam and I've been playing it all this week I have to say the combat is still a little lackluster but the space environments are very cool and I think with a little bit of work this could develop into something pretty special star trucker I had to be very careful how I said that title if I'm honest but anyway prepare to haul cargo trade Salvage and always keep your space suit close to you as you venture into the depths of space in this game which is like a space version of eurotruck Simulator the stars are your Highway and Fortune awaits those bold enough to seek it you can experience the thrill of interstellar Commerce as you take on the role of a space fairing entrepreneur trade routes stretch across the Galaxy offering endless opportunities for profit and adventure in this game there will be an Interstellar Twist on the truck Sim genre offering a unique blend of strategy resource management and action-packed gameplay the Galaxy is yours to conquer one cargo run at a time I played the demo of this game at Steam nextfest and I really enjoyed it now I'm a big fan of space sims and I like Euro Truck and American Truck Simulator so it was a match made in heaven for me that demo is still live so there is no excuse for you not to go away and check this one out today Capital command set course for Interstellar Warfare like never before welcome to the Helm of your very own state-of-the-art warship in capital command engage in Epic Space Battles in the vast sandbox campaign where the fate of the entire galaxy hangs in the balance in this this game your warship is more than just a vessel it's your Ultimate Weapon customize and upgrade every aspect of your ship from its Weaponry to its defenses as you strive for dominance Among the Stars it's not the first time I've covered this game on a list and I'm very excited about it mostly because it has some very realistic space combat the idea of managing my own Capital battleship in space is just too much to resist with this one and once again if you want to try it out there is a demo available able on Steam so you can just go ahead and give it a go I'm really looking forward to this one and I can't wait to use heavy fire power to overcome all the deadly threats that are presented to me in the vastness of space star Miner in this exciting game you will design and build an Interstellar mining Fleet to strip space of its invaluable minerals and sell them for a tidy profit but beware your greed will attract the alien use warships and defense platforms to protect your Fleet at all costs in real space in real time in fact you will feel your pulse Quicken while piloting your 150,000 ton warship between asteroids in the vacuum of space in real time or with fully simulated physics the challenge of Defending my fleet against the alien sounds pretty damn cool and I can't wait to try this game out one of the things that came across to me in the trailer of this game is the absolutely brilliant atmosphere and for a space Enthusiast I cannot wait put this one on your wish list today X4 timelines now some of you may consider this cheating but this is a DLC for an existing game but I'm such a huge fan of X4 that I could not exclude it from this list if you take anything from this DLC being on the list it might be to go and check out X4 as a game it's absolutely epic and one of my favorite games of all time I really do feel that the base game has grown to its full potential and although some bugs still exist there's so much to do in this game you could pretty much just play it till the end of time focusing on the DLC you'll be able to engage in a brand new mysterious storyline you will take the role of a Trader in the Border territories who is not averse to risky deals this will lead to a Fateful Encounter which not only changes your short-term plans but shakes the foundations of your understanding of the universe and everyone in it if that doesn't sound epic I don't know what does alongside this will be a number of immersive scenarios and unique unlocks overall it's just another excuse to play more X4 and I will be there at launch maybe I'll even get a review done before it comes out let's try and get in contact with egosoft underspace this game describes itself as a spiritual successor to freelancer with a lovecraftian sbox RPG twist now that sounds absolutely mental but it does appeal to me you can explore a vast handmade universe that includes online multiplayer and mod support and the exciting thing for me about this game is I already have access to it thanks to the developer I've been really enjoying the strange universe that this game creates it's different to just your standard space game there's a lovecraftian element to it and a really great Vibe I can see what they're trying to create here the space game but with a Twist and I have to say for an indie title the ability to get out of my spaceship to these really well-crafted stations and planets is absolutely awesome and I've been enjoying the space combat in this one a little bit more than Stellar wander DX now it's always going to be an indie title and that means it will sacrifice some elements but overall I've been really enjoying it and so far even though I've only had my hands on it a few days I put four hours into it and I think that's quite a good sign the Galaxy in this game is neither safe nor sane there are hypers spatial tempests that sweep through space distorting star systems and spewing forth strange hazards even stranger monstrosities and incredible Treasures you can Traverse 70 handcrafted star systems any of which could fall victim to foul weather and it's part of the game to destroy these storms and these monsters as you progress look I'm really impressed with this game so far and I've even been experimenting with their radio system adding in my own music you can expect a full review from LT gaming on this one and it arrives the 10th of April there's also a demo if you want to get an advanced look at the game hunternet Starfighter hunternet is an MMO starf fighter Sim where you fight for Territory Resources and key installations during Humanity's last Civil War you can form player organizations mine resources and build fleets to back up your star Fighters the star fighters in this game have fully simulated cockpits and there is Advanced Hardware for you to control as you fight to avoid blackout in Close Quarter maneuvering fights of man over machine you'll be able to wage war over a player driven persistent Universe during Humanity's last great civil war while avoiding Humanity's extinction by a mysterious alien threat the combat and environments in this game look Second To None they look absolutely brilliant and I'm super excited for this game it will definitely be a challenge but if they can build an online community for this game it's going to be something to enjoy for many years to come look all I had to do with this one was watch some of the trailers and footage that's out there and the rings of some of the planets they're just so beautiful honestly this one is going to be exciting and I can't wait to try it out LT Gamers it's been an
